– Non-GAAP net income of $433M, up 16% YoY; prior guidance of $427M.

Three Things to Watch
Can cloud AI keep royalties growing near 20%?
Data center royalties more than doubled year over year in Q4 as hyperscalers expanded Arm-based CPUs, DPUs and SmartNICs. $Arm Holdings (ARM.US)$ said it sees no break in that momentum, supported by $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ AWS Graviton, $Alphabet-C (GOOG.US)$ Axion, $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ Cobalt and $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ Vera.
A royalty result near $700 million would show that data center growth and higher Armv9 and CSS royalty rates are offsetting weaker end markets such as lower-end smartphones.
Can licensing growth remain strong without another unusually large deal?
License and other revenue reached $819 million in Q4, including $200 million from Arm's technology licensing and design services agreement with SoftBank. Licensing revenue can fluctuate sharply because a small number of large contracts can materially affect quarterly results.
Investors should therefore focus on annualized contract value, which grew 22% in Q4, along with new CSS agreements and longer-term customer commitments.
Is AGI CPU supply catching up with demand?
Arm now has visibility into more than $2 billion of AGI CPU demand across fiscal 2027 and fiscal 2028. However, the company has secured wafers, memory, packaging and testing capacity for only the first $1 billion and is still working to secure additional supply.
The first production revenue remains scheduled for fiscal Q4. Management currently expects roughly $90 million, just under $100 million, from the initial ramp. Any update on supply or fiscal 2028 production could matter more than the Q1 contribution, which should remain minimal.
Option Strategy
Arm's options tape is flashing defensive positioning with total open interest at 753.63K and a bearish-leaning 1.13 put/call ratio, while implied volatility screams elevation at 105.33% versus 76.43% realized to push IV Rank to 86 and IV Percentile to a frothy 93%, as the 6.06K put open interest decisively overwhelms 3.75K calls into the July 31 expiry, signaling traders bracing for outsized downside risk around the event.
Arm's gamma landscape for the July 31 weekly expiry finds shares at $266.08 hovering right at the gamma flip line, with a formidable Put Wall at $250 backstopping the downside and a towering Call Wall at $300 acting as the primary upside magnet, leaving the tape on a knife's edge where a slip below the flip threatens amplified dealer selling while a push higher opens a clean gamma tailwind toward $300.
Summary
Arm's Q1 revenue target looks achievable if data center royalties continue to more than offset weaker consumer end markets. The harder test is whether Arm can maintain that growth while operating expenses rise more than 20%.
Strong cloud royalties and progress securing AGI CPU supply would reinforce the long-term AI thesis. Weak licensing execution or further supply constraints would keep attention focused on the cost and timing of Arm's expansion into production silicon.
