I took a position in $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ at $64.30 last Friday.
The setup is pretty straightforward:
đŻ Catalyst: Golden Dome funding, with the market watching the next major funding developments around October
đ Volume: Uptick in volume, now above the previous two-week range
đ Price action: Volume is picking up without a huge expansion in the candle â something I like to see when a stock is building rather than chasing
𧹠Risk: Clear support sitting underneath on the weekly chart
đ Theme: Space + defense is becoming one of the most interesting emerging themes in the market
And that's the part I really like about $RKLB.
I'm not buying it because I think it has already broken out.
I'm buying it because risk is defined near support while the upside could be much larger if the catalyst actually hits.
From the $60s, a 100%+ move would put the stock well into the $120s+.
That's the asymmetry I'm looking for.
Rocket Lab already has a growing defense exposure, a large backlog and the Neutron program coming into focus, so the Golden Dome angle isn't the entire thesis â it's a potential catalyst on top of an existing space-and-defense story.
For now, I'm keeping it simple:
$64.30 entry.
Weekly support below.
Golden Dome catalyst ahead.
100%+ upside if the setup plays out.
Let's see if $RKLB can turn this base into the next big move. đđ
