🌟Welcome to the AI Tug of War.  On one side you have $Microsoft(MSFT)$ aggressively pouring billions of dollars into concrete, steel & advanced fibre networks.  Microsoft believes that this data center expansion makes it an impenetrable competitive moat.  It envisages a future where Azure is the computing air that the entire corporate world breathes.

But on the other side stands Michael Burry of Big Short fame, holding a magnifying glass over Microsoft's balance sheet and said: Show me the actual free cash flow.

Big Tech has racked up a huge USD 3 trillion in off balance sheet commitments, purchase obligations & construction projects.

Microsoft alone has tripled its uncommenced leases to over USD 300 billion.

If Microsoft is right, it will own the future AI infrastructure.

If Burry is right, we are watching a hyper inflated capex that may end up in a wave of asset write-offs by 2028.

Proceed with caution & don't expect capex to result in easy profits.

The boss asked me to issue coins
Hello everyone! Today is the eve of the "US Stock Earnings Week War", and it is also the first day of this tiger! To be honest, the boss stuffed a pocket of tiger coins as soon as he entered the office, and gave a death order: "If you can't finish it in a month, don't think about getting off work!" In order to get off work early and eat hot pot, I will hold fresh topics here every day and wait for everyone. As long as you dare to talk, I dare to send it! Look directly at today's hot discussion 👇 🔥 The Nasdaq 100 fell 1.1%. Should the Fed FOMC + Big Four be safe from earnings week?
