WHAT ARE YOUR TRADES TODAY?

There are many types of investors here - Low, Medium and High Risks Investors, Amateurs,  Seasoned or Professionals, Dividend Investors. Short term or Long Term Investors. Whichever type of investors we are, we all have one goal, ie. To grow our money, make money for our retirement or to feed our lifestyle.

I am a conservative short term investor because to me, life is unpredictable and market volatility has been unpredictable too. As the pool of investors has grown larger than before, I would be more cautious in my trades given the economy is much affected by external factors such as Viruses (Covid-19,  Monkeypox, etc), mother nature such as floods, Tsunamis,  earthquakes, etc as well as "man-make" wars.

My trades includes strong growth tech stocks (Microsoft, Apple) , EV stocks (Rivian, Nio), healthcare stocks, Bank stocks (WFC). Being conservative, i buy small and add on during the dip and sell off quickly during the bull run. As a conservative short term investor, I put 10% of each industry. I do AIP (AUTO INVESTMENT PLAN) in SG currency as well as Reits. I do 10% for high duvidend stocks.

However, my only fear is the market crash. Hence I have begun Queuing to sell off ALL my stocks in both currencies given the fact that the cycle of a market crash may or may not happen. I go by my gut feeling and I want to stay safe in my investments. The only one I keep is my AIP for my retirement. Once all my stocks are sold, I will transfer them to fixed deposits regardless of market volatility.

Finally, DONT LET GREED CONTROL YOU. Invest conservatively because you are exchanging your life and health for your hard-earned money to invest. Spend more time with family abd friends. Time loss cannot be recovered.

Happy Investing :)

STI ETF, S&P 500 and REITs are good for conservative investor and to hold for long to reap the benefits.
