Here I would like to introduce you to some unfamiliar companies that you may probably haven't heard of, and hope it can be of some help to your investments.

The company I'm going to introduce this time is $Betashares Global Cybersecurity(HACK.AU)$ .

Founded in 2016, BetaShares Global Cybersecurity ETF is a simple and cost-effective way to gain exposure to the world’s leading cybersecurity companies in a single ASX trade – a sector with strong growth prospects.

HACK aims to track the performance of an index (before fees and expenses) that provides exposure to the leading companies in the global cybersecurity sector. This includes companies such as Accenture, Cisco, Cloudflare, Fortinet, Okta, Splunk, Zscaler, Crowdstrike.

[History & Events]

2016: Betashares announced the first ETF in Australia providing dedicated exposure to the global cybersecurity sector.

2020: It holds 41 different positions. These positions are weighted very heavily towards the United States (at 89.5%).

2021:July was a modest month for ASX ETFs but the hottest was focused on cybersecurity, with another focused on COVID-19 vaccine makers not far behind. Topping the charts was BetaShares Global Cybersecurity ETF.

2021: As of 31 October, it has managed to return an average of 22.86% per annum since its inception in 2016, including a return of 51.49% over the 12 months to 31 October. 

2021: This ETF is around $770 million in size.

2022: Cybercrime continues to rise, which could drive demand for cybersecurity higher over the years.

2022: The Betashares Global Cybersecurity ETF (ASX: HACK) has fallen in value by more than 20% over the last couple of months.
