I think the court battle will be inevitable. Legally speaking, I think Twitter might have an edgeto get Musk to pay for $1 billion. But given EM's ability to get himself out of a fix, I figure he will either negotiate for a smaller payment or buy Twitter (surprise!) at a much cheaper valuation.
Cos the alternative will be to fight till one sideruns out of gas. Or electricity as in this London Police car case.
