//@koolgal: In the race to reach the lofty target of USD 5 Trillion in market capitalisation, my pick would be Microsoft.  It has been in the top spot before Apple took over the reins.Under Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO , Microsoft is very much into Cloud Computing.  This has led to a Big boost in recurring revenue since Microsoft products are now available as subscriptions.  In fact Microsoft is now No. 2 in Cloud Computing behind Amazon.  Office 365, the Azure cloud computing platform and other SAAS offerings have produced exceptional growth opportunities. $Microsoft(MSFT)$ also have multiple sources of revenue too from PCs, Cloud computing, gaming and even Metaverse. If Microsoft is successful in acquiring Activision Blizzard, it would increase its market share in gaming. So yes I believe that $Microsoft(MSFT)$ would be the 1st company to reach 5 Trillion on market capitalisation followed closely by $Apple(AAPL)$ . @MillionaireTiger Which Company will hit 5T first @TigerStars

    In my opinion, Microsoft does have the greatest opportunity, because its business is very extensive, and it belongs to cutting-edge areas, and its growth potential is huge.

    Microsoft does have a chance to reach the top first, but I am more optimistic about Apple, especially its imminent entry into VR and AR, as well as the automotive industry.

    I guess Tesla is more likely that his electric vehicle business has shown great potential, and other businesses will take off as well.
