$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ vs $Alphabet(GOOG)$there is a Class A and Class B, both are going to stock split in July 2022. Which is better for retail investors ? And what is the difference?

    Do you actually vote at the AGM? If not, as long as both move in tandem - the cheapest would be the best as the ROI is higher

      With stock split July 2022, will be at around $170 per share i forsee alot of ppl will buy n price will start to raise. But sametime ppl bought earlier sell to take profit.

    GOOG & GOOGL are stock tickers for Alphabet, the parent company. The main difference is GOOG shares have no voting rights while GOOGL shares do. Only the major shareholders have the voting rights.

    If you don't mind having no voting rights, you might opt for GOOG on which it is usually slightly cheaper:)

    Just buy whichever is cheaper when you are going to buy. “Voting” is just a “right” whether it makes a difference is another story
