Makes good commercial sense to increase sales since Tesla Shanghai has the lowest cost position; adding volume helps lower overall cost. This will greatly affet their competitors who are already losing money on every sales. This is also a test for Tesla to see how far their competitors can support lowering of their price and how far they can affort to lose. This will greatly reduce sales of others beside Tesla. Besides Tesla has an abundant orders from Asia Pacific, and they can ship their addtional production volumes to Asia -- as it is only a very short distance from Shanghai.
