Football fans in the past month must have gone through euphoria and heartbreak at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Now, another most exciting tournament for ASEAN fans comes into the spotlight: the AFF Championship. 

There are many similarities between football and investing. But if we were to compare football teams or football players to stocks, what stock would they be respectively?

    my favourite football player in this World Cup is Messi (Argentina), n he is like Microsoft. both are consistent performers that almost always deliver good results. both been around longer than others around them. n finally, just when we thought they are over the hill, they give us another unexpected, almost near impossible but pleasant surprise results;
    Messi with his superb goal n guiding his team to an incredible win that defied all odds, in the World Cup Finals, n
    Microsoft, with it's above-expectations results in their last FY despite the challenging, highly competitive business environment it's in [Salute]

    FOOTBALL ⚽️  when comparing to stocks is like trying to pick a winner . majority will pick to go with their instinct , gut feeling,  analysis , hearsay to pick the winning team like brazil , germany , france whose past world cup performance may well lead to another 2022 championship win but.....  [Facepalm].... all lost instead

    As we will often and definitely see in all investment clauses and disclaimer , - " PAST PERFORMACE IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF FUTURE RESULTS "  [Facepalm] [LOL] [LOL] [Spurting] [Spurting] [Facepalm]

    so we must realize and understand this point in stocks also. The darling of yesterday and how high the stocks had went , are history already . example are amazon,  tesla or netflix etc .
