I will not go with the market flow as I am a long term investor, I will try my best to invest in blue chip stocks with high dividends and always try to use auto-investing method to average down my cost price whenever the stock price has dropped below my cost price. Auto-invest starts with a very small amount from $2 which is very affordable for most small investors like me. Stock investment is not like gambling, we need to do alot of homework in order not to incur huge losses. Conducting thorough research like analyzing the financial performance of the companies & company fundamentals, be updated on the market trends & geopolitical factors are some of important factors in making stock investment decision. Reading several stock analyst's evaluation report of the stock as a reference

I am very happy that my P&L calendar for the month of March 2024 shows a profit of 2.4% as shown in the screenshot below especially after many months in deep red for my portfolio. The S&P 500 posted its best first-quarter performance going back to 2019, up 10%, as stocks rode a wave of enthusiasm around the prospect of rate cuts coming later this year, as well as the potential of artificial intelligence to bolster corporate profits. Most of my US stocks are in green but most of my Singapore stocks are in red. Hopefully with the coming interest rate cuts, everyone’s portfolio will turn to deep green 🍀 🍀 soon and our stock price will keep going “To the Moon” 🚀🚀

$Wal-Mart(WMT)$ will be reporting their earnings on 20 Feb 2024. The report will be for the fiscal Quarter ending Jan 2024. According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 14 analysts' forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $1.64. Walmart is expected to report $170.33 billion in revenue and net income of $4.36 billion, or $1.61 a share, according to analysts' estimates compiled by Visible Alpha. While the retail giant’s net income is projected to fall by 30% compared with the fiscal 2023 fourth quarter, its revenue totals would be about 4% higher than the prior-year quarter. I would like to use one word “defeat” to summarize my portfolio in October 2023. It was the worst performance of my portfolio since I joined Tiger Broker in May 2021. My portfolio has improved with the good news from Federal Reserve that it’s holding interest rates steady following its Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 meeting, leaving the federal funds rate at a target range of 5.25 to 5.5 percent. It’s the third time in the last four meetings that the Fed has held rates steady, though the central bank has raised rates a total of 11 times during this economic cycle in an effort to tamp down high inflation.. Hopefully by the early 2024, all the stocks in my portfolio will turn green.
