Earlier this morning, Elon Musk made a surprise appearance at Twitter space(live audio conversation) hosted by StockMTKNewz where he answered a variety of questions including current macro environment and tesla progress.
Not selling anymore Tesla shares until 2025
Specifically he comment that he won't sell anymore tesla shares until 2025 and that the recent selling was to get some dry powder in case things got bad for Twitter.
"I will not sell stock until at least two years from now. certainly not next year under any circumstances"
I thought this is great news for Tesla shareholders as we already experienced the negative effect on Tesla share price whenever he start selling shares, more specifically a few months back when he acquired Twitter and also the most recent sales a few days ago.
Thoughts
Finally some good news for Tesla after the stock price got crushed yesterday. I know days like these as a shareholder you start to doubt your decisions and might even contemplating on cutting your loss but it is specifically in this period that you got to stay on course
In the short run, the stock market is a voting machin but in the long run, it is a weighing machine - Benjamin Graham
We can look forward to potential great news such as the announcement of a new giga factory in Mexico and probably Tesla exceeding the delivery numbers target next week though this is quite hopeful at best
Twitter space
I want to compliment how great Twitter spaces are where you can get CEO of various companies and hedge funds to come together to discuss issues and have everyone tune in.
It is convenient because all of them are on the same platform and maybe this might replace senimars where entry tickets can be high or mainstream media where very little airtime is given for the speaker.
Twitter space might just be the future for these discussions

Even if he doesn’t sell it directly, he has / could take on bank loans pledged against his shares, which in a worst case scenario could lead to the bank creditors liquidating the pledged shares.
