Elon Musk finally broke his silence after the poll concluded where voters voted that he should step down as head of Twitter.

He didn't layout specifically the requirements of the new CEO, broadly suggesting that he must have the ability to keep Twitter alive

Let's speculate who can take over, this is of course for entertainment purposes and I will be surprised if anyone below is selected except maybe the last candidate

Jack Dorsey

Former CEO of Twitter, I think no one knows the inside out of Twitter more than Jack. With full control of the company, Jack may finally fulfill his vision of Twitter without hitting roadblocks from the management team previously which ultimately led to him leaving the company

Tweet back in 2020

Sheryl Sandberg

Former COO of Meta (stepped down in August) which is the second highest ranking officer after Mark Zuckerberg.  The technical skills, leadership skills and sales experience from her previous position is priceless to Twitter if she evers become the CEO

John Legere

Former boss of T-mobile, his time at T-mobile brought largely success where the company gained more customers than most of its competitiors combined. He even offered to take up the job as CEO of Twitter in November although he said he won't be cheap. Sad for him to say that his idea was shot down by Elon Musk with a 'No'

Lex Fridman

A computer scientist, teacher and researcher at MIT, a podcaster where he interviewed wide variety of well known guests and also personally a friend of Elon Musk. Although he has the technical skills but he might not have the management skills of a CEO with no previous experience.

David Sacks

Bookmakers lowest odds of becoming the next head of Twitter is David Sacks, member of the "PayPal Mafia", a group of former PayPal employees and founders including Elon Musk that have since founded other technology companies. Sacks was the founding COO of PayPal and the CEO of the social media app Yammer.

Who do you think should take over as head of Twitter?
