I don't think DBS, UOB and OCBC should worry as they have their own strong base of loyal customers. I am one of them. 😇. Indirectly, these 3 major banks have been improving their services way before TrustBank came in the play.

No doubt, Trust is trying to attract customers with their annual fees waiver credit card and their co-operation with NTUC, I doubt consumers will be attracted to it. I am one of them 🤣🤣. I have NTUC plus card and annual fees waiver credit cards too. I am trying to hold fewer credit cards - currently 3; next year planning to have 2 only.

Trust is having free foreign transactions fee. That's the only plus point to me. But how frequent will I use this facility? 😏🤔 unless Tiger is able to accept their credit card for US stocks purchase then I will consider Trust. 🤭😊😅😂😇

@TigerEvents@MillionaireTigerwill Tiger accept Trust credit card for US stocks purchase? 😇😇

Only bank that refused to waive my credit card annual fee is UOB, hence why terminated r/s with them. [LOL]
    • DiAngelReplySoyabean89
Wow!😱 UOB never give you face.
    • Soyabean89ReplyDiAngel
I told them since cannot waive, please cancel the card for me before the due fee and they just follow my instructions without effort to keep me. Speechless.. Nvm i still need ocbc for my bcip

Citi service went downhill years ago. They are my 1st credit card issuer. cancelled all my cards with them and moved to OCBC & UOB. UOB only for the sake of Lady Card. 🌹which i m going to cancel 2023
    • chaickaReplyDiAngel
UOB is actually my first bank unlike most where POSB is their first. Yet after decades, their attitude turned r/s so bad (worst was Citi) that I ended all r/s with them. OCBC give me best svc than DBS

indeed OCBC is the tough one.  they intro me 365 card.so i spend on that instead of my plus card then they say i never meet for plus so cancel my plus. [Surprised] this is very mean as a bank [Drowsy]

No. Poor person traveling. Bring cash. No more cash then stop[Facepalm]

Tough to minimize to 1, due to various great benefits eg petrol, grocery, shopping, SQ miles, etc. No 1 card gives best benefits across all areas of spendings.

they may loose some customers in the beginning. after the new banks start moving their interest back to normal rate, customers may go back to the 3 big banks.
    • DiAngel
Thanks for sharing. I didnt dig into their current interest rate as i m staying far far away from them. Why fix it when it is not broken? 🤭 i mean my good relationship with OCBC.

They are targetting the millenials with their card by removing a lot of minimal card requirements.. i dun think their target is older folks like us.. but if we are onboard.. the more the merrier
    • DiAngel
Will you be one of them?

fyi ntuc plus card is going obsolete.  that's why standchart Trust Bank have a chance as they are collaborating with NTUC.  ocbc is being kicked out in that stance

Indeed. I almost have not pay any credit cards’ annual fee for years. Free foreign transactions only attractive for frequent flyers or transactors like traders.
