The dividend yields in these areas are 6.7%, 4.6%, 4.1%, and 2.8%, respectively. Then, real estate trusts seem to be the most worthwhile stocks to invest in.

Before you invests REITs, you are suggested to understand both the S-Reit landscape and factors that affect the performance of Reits. Consider economic outlook affects S-Reits in varying sectors (commercial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and retail) differently.

- Economic outlook. Like stocks, the state of the economy is an important factor affecting the performance of Reits. ...
- Yield and frequency of payouts: Make sure the REIT has a good track record of paying dividends.
- Interest rate environment. It is generally said that rising interest rates make bonds, dividend income stocks and Reits less attractive.
- Weighted average lease expiry (WALE) :WALE is one of the main metrics used to assess the health of a Reit.
- Net Asset Value (NAV) :the difference between total assets and liabilities on a per unit basis
- Funds from operations (FFO):Pay attention to the scale of real estate enterprises. The larger the scale of the enterprise, the stronger its solvency.
