Multiple sources suggests that Elon Musk had identified his potential successor as Tesla’s CEO, claimed by a Tesla board member.

James Murdoch, the director who made the claim, explained during a trial over Musk's 2018 Tesla pay package trial that this occurrence happened in the last few months.

Amid increasing responsibilities by Musk with taking over Twitter.Inc, he has few other major companies on hand under his purview:

1. Space X

2. Neuralink

3. The Boring Company

With growing amount of political and corporate frenemies with Elon Musk, it seems like a possibility that Elon Musk might foresee a day he need to handover his responsibilities or to share his powers. However many would argue this is not his demeanour.

Elon Musk’s sexual controversies and scandals might be under the spotlight after sometime but some may still judge his personality for that with the recent mass Twitter layoffs.

We should also remember his gracefulness for the Ukrainians in making Starlink largely available in Ukraine that had hit him against Russian political agenda, with increased danger to his life.

Would his potential passing of mantle affect his legacy or a sign of Tesla falling ?

What do you see in Elon Musk’s leadership?

1. He should pass the torch

2. He should continue running Tesla

3. He has the power and capability to own more companies.

4. He is impotent to run so many companies under his hands.
