Being Grateful
Most of us are too occupied and busy with our daily activities and our lives that we forget to be grateful for what we already acquire. Being grateful to something or someone is a feeling of appreciation or gratitude and an acknowledgement of the kindness shown to us by others or the positive aspects of our lives. For example, being thankful to our parents and friends or even appreciating our cleaners are some examples of gratitude.
As a person who reside in Singapore, I am thankful and grateful for the access to clean drinking water, electricity, our clean and safe environment, and the accessibility of public transport. These are some of the many things that we should be grateful for because not everyone in the world have access to basic necessities like clean drinking water and electricity. Hence, we should be grateful for the things that are provided for us.
I am also very grateful to Tiger Brokers Singapore for providing a platform and an opportunity to the community and myself to take a step back and reflect about what are the things that I am and should be grateful for. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents for the support, guidance, and advice they have given me along the way.
