Wakanda Forever❣️Therefore, the movie that I anticipate the most is Black Panther🤩😍 I’m still anticipating because I haven’t watched it yet😅 Covid has totally changed me & I now enjoy watching movies in the comfort of my home as I can pause to grab a snack🍫🍵🫖 or go for a toilet break, & press rewind⏪ anytime when I miss something🤭
I’m waiting for Black Panther to be released on Disney+ I just so L😍VE Marvel movies that when I got Disney+ I rewatched the whole Marvel series from Captain America to Eternals😅 & I TOTALLY enjoyed my movie marathon🥳 Did any 🐯🐯🐯 do the same too❓
I’m 🐻-ish about Disney+ & here’s why:
⚠️ Disney (DIS) is losing billions on its streaming services. It reported $4 billion in operating losses for its direct-to-consumer segment over the previous 12 months. Leading those losses is Disney+😰 DIS’s flagship streaming service…DIS is pouring tons of money into content for the service as well as marketing & technology. And while subscriber growth has increased, investors have been scared off by the steep losses🔥🔥🔥
⚠️ Management says profits are coming & CFO Christine McCarthy reiterated its expectations for Disney+ to generate a profitable quarter in fiscal 2024. And if we don’t want to be overly optimistic, we’re looking at Q4 of fiscal 2024, which ends in Sep 2024, so I don’t think that DIS can start to profit from streaming next quarter.
🤔 After finishing my movie marathon, I watched other Marvel TV series-Loki, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, WandaVision. Of these 4, only Loki & WandaVision was unique enough to capture my attention. Then it was a longgg wait before the next Doctor Strange & Thor, Ms Marvel & She-Hulk came out & to me…beside Doctor Strange, the rest are so-so only…Yes they’re a bit funny but leaning more to the lame side…I’m not quite sure the next season of Marvel can outperform the 1st season, especially when all the popular actors-Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America (& maybe Thor) won’t be acting anymore. If Marvel can’t attract 🎥 lovers, then how will Disney+ be profitable?
🥳 However, there could be some ray of hope for Disney⛈☀️🌈 as ex-CEO Bob Iger, who previously orchestrated deals to acquire Pixar, Marvel, & Lucasfilm, & got Disney+ up and off the ground, is back‼️$Walt Disney(DIS)$
Are you a subscriber of Disney+ or Netflix or both❓$Netflix(NFLX)$
crashed from its 52-Week high of $700.99 to a bottom🪨🪨🪨 of $162.71😱😱🔥🔥 Are you more bullish for DIS or NFLX fellow🐯🐯🐯❓Would love to hear from you & so do get busy sharing your thoughts & please help to click on the “Like” button after reading, many thanks🤗🥰
