$British Pound - main 2212(GBPmain)$
For London Stock Exchange (LSE) that holds the "oldest" stock exchange accolade and also ranked as 8th largest exchange in the World (by market cap) - this old Dame still have some tricks up her sleeves.
For starters its Top 10 companies (by market cap) are companies that are household names that you definitely would have come acrossed.
For example :
1. Shell plc - Energy
2. Astrazeneca - Pharma
3. Linde - Chemicals
4. Unilever - Consumers
5. HSBC - Financial / Banking
6. BP - Energy
7. Diageo - Whiskey
8. Rio Tinto - Minerals
9. British American Tobacco
10. GlaxoSmithKline - Pharma
There are still money to be made from LSE if you what to invest and how to as well. In terms of volatility it is not as "temperamental", unlike US boards.
A non-UK investors also do not have to foot any "tax bill" on dividends paid on UK shares. This means a "meatier" dividend for blue chips shares no ?

On the topic of who will be the 5th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in as long as last 6 years; think it is crucial to understand how Liz Truss ascended the Prime Ministership in the first place.
To put it bluntly, it was due to fate and largely the wrong doings of ex-PM Boris Johnson - ex-Mayor of London who is equal in parts, charismatic and chaotic leader that steered the Conservatives to a 2019 election victory.
His failure to comply with covid restrictions and more importantly his failure to take action against a minister that he has selected to be part of his team and then went on to lie about it.
As the 2 finalists battling for the PM role, Liz Truss's advantage over her opponent wasn't the fact that she was more experienced and subject-matter expertise on how to get Britian back up on her feet again.
Her "biggest" trump-card was that she has a relatively blemished free track record as a decent human being.
Her rival (Rishi Sunak)'s reputation had been stained by revelations about his wealthy wife’s non-domicile tax status and a fine he received, along with Johnson, for violating the COVID lockdown rules.
When the stars are aligned, it does not matter whether you have what it takes to become a Prime Minister of the British Empire.
Just watch the YouTube videos "UK Parliament" where Liz Truss was featured in some of the video series. In short, she's still a "question of finesse" looming, when it comes to being in a parliament session.
By now, it would've been realized that in British politics, apart from being really talent (which unfortunately are far, few and in between), there is a need for more than excellent oratorial skills (and ultra thick skin) to be able to withstand criticism and still be able to engage (with "facts", "statistics", rolling off your tongue) to counter opposition's sometimes far-fetched and witty repartee. Agree?
Who will become the next Prime Minister ? Of the 2 participants coming into the contest again (not confirmed and finalized yet)- below are my thoughts (in no particular order) :
1. Boris Johnson. I thought there is a saying that goes "Once bitten, Twice shy" no ? Will be dumbfounded if he is second time lucky.
2. Rishi Sunak. Will voters still remember the wrongs committed ? Apart from "feigning ignorance ?? thereby savings at least 20 millions in taxes while enjoying the "high" life in London, UK, it just doesn't seemed fair. Rather an elitist behaviour no?
What is worse is how does one picks up the pieces upon discovering that a Minister with Portfolio is selfish and is about savings as much money as his spouse is able to, while reaping the benefits of living in first class country ?
As it has happened once, what is/are the probability that such incident will not occur in the short term ? Doubtful right.
Are there really no other MP options in the British Empire that is morally upright, scandal free, honest no lies and most crucial - passionate to serve the common people of the UK ?
Finally if the contension is really down to these last 2 candidates - parting words would be "may god bless the united kingdom ". LOL.
Please share your thots in below Comments section ok. We could agree to disagree no? Lol.
