Midterm Election time - will US citizen win ?

A lot have been written and posted about the Midterm election, which party will run the Senate and House of Representative ?  Will the stock market rally continue its upstream run - will Christmas be early this year ? Here's my take.

Would much prefer to have a single party (in this case Democrats) governs and run the Land of opportunity for the next 2 years, before the next General Election.  This eliminates a lot of expected impasse if a mixed government is formed.

It has always been a noble concept to have a structure of different party for the Senate and House of Rep to counter balance each other blah, blah, blah.  I am certain all the advantages and disadvantages have been written to death about this.  In the modern context where things are evolving ever so quickly, perhaps it is necessary to evolve as well ?

Otherwise US may end up having a fractured government (due to mix party governing bodies) that cannot move fast enough, make the "right" decision quickly enough and could only watch "helplessly" as the world zips them by. Agree ?

Cannot understand why President Biden did present a report card to remind fellow citizens how far they have come under his charge / care.  How he turned the covid situation around, restore some form of semblence of what normal life is supposed to be, despite facing strong resistant for mass vaccination that seemed so alien and repulsive initially.

Why is it that although inflation is at a historic high, it is "unavoidable" in order to prevent the US stock market from crashing 2 years ago.  Explain to his people without all the necessary measures put in placed (quantitative easing, etc...), the US stock market might have collapsed 2 years ago.  Impact to businesses would have been far more devastating than inflation (now)  and possibly recession if the situation does not improve in the next few months.

Am certain the US citizens would understand, appreciate and know whom to vote today during midterm election, no ?

Will the Santa rally continues after midterm election results are out ?  Don't think so either; not unless its the Democrats are all in the house - President, Senate and House of Rep.  Again what are the odds that it will be this combination for the rest of President Biden presidency ?  Unlikely no ?  By a stroke of luck it does happen, maybe - just maybe the market will erupt and charge upstream.

The euphoria will not last though because the Fed being an autonomous body will continue its austerity program.  What is that ?  It is to bring inflation down back to 2% from the current high of 8.2% - still easy 6% more to go.  It will be back to looking out for the monthly CPI, PCE, Jobs reports in order to second guess whether the Fed will continue to be hawkish or dovish.  Agree ?

Do share your thoughts in below Comments section ok.  Still have time before midterm election results are out.  Don't wait !!

Please give this a "Like"as well, the rating is important to me.  Thanks in advance.

Sorry ❗I like to see Republicans win both Senate and Congress ❗
Then and only then, democracy is properly demonstrated. Both sides can argue out on issues, having real check & balance properly ironed out 😁
