$Sea Ltd(SE)$   After Sea Limited (SE) reported its Q1 earnings, the stock rose 4% in pre-market trading. Despite the earnings per share (EPS) of $0.15 falling short of the analyst estimate of $0.23, the company's revenue of $3.7 billion exceeded the consensus estimate of $3.64 billion. Given this mixed report, the target price for Sea Limited should take into account both the revenue beat and the EPS miss. Analysts might adjust their target prices based on the company's growth potential, market conditions, and future guidance. A specific target price would require a more detailed analysis of these factors. However, the positive market reaction suggests optimism about the company's overall growth trajectory. A rea
If TikTok were to shut down, Sea Limited ($SEA) might see some effects, though the impact could be limited due to its diversified business model and operations. Sea Limited, which operates three core businesses—Garena (digital entertainment), Shopee (e-commerce), and SeaMoney (digital financial services)—is not heavily reliant on any single segment that would be directly impacted by a shutdown in the social media or short video content space. Additionally, the company's activities are spread across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Latin America, providing geographical diversification that can help cushion regional disruptions. The absence of TikTok could also present market opportunities, particularly for Garena, which might expand its digital content offerings. Moreover, Shopee and SeaMoney co

I closed 5 lot(s) $SE 20240517 45.0 PUT$  ,>90% profit decided to take profit and split the strangle. Leaving the call. Rationale for doing so is that sea is by nature volatile. As earnings is coming next week, there will be increased volatility and options premiums. Holding both calls and puts will reduce the gains that I can gain through increase in options premiums. Day before earnings, I will close the call and add the premiums for this put and that call and reopen a strangle with higher options premiums. Forming a new credit position.
