What If Nasdaq in Gamma Squeeze?

$NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ index has been soaring two consecutive days, especially on May 18th, a surge of 1.5% make it reaching a new high since last August. From a graphical perspective, this breakthrough indicates an absolute victory for the longs. In comparison, although the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ index is also approaching its new high this year, it has not yet surpassed last August's level. Therefore, it is clear that Big-techs are key driven force.Big Techs have become the most "valuable" asset in the inflationary circle. Since they are also the main weights, such as $Microsoft(MSFT)$ $Apple(AAPL)$

💡New To Options❓Follow Buffett To Sell Put😉

Warren Buffett is known to be 1 of the most successful investors of all ⏰ He began investing in stocks at age 10, & was a millionaire by his early 30s, when he began buying Berkshire Hathaway stock at $7.60 per share😱😱😱 The secret of his success, he says, is following 2 rules: “Rule No.1: Never lose money. Rule No.2: Never forget rule No.1.” We all know Buffett as someone who buys & holds undervalued companies or wonderful companies at a fair price. However, a lesser-known tactic that Buffett used to build up his fortune is actually by Selling Naked Put Options😉 We might think that someone like Buffett who seems devoted to blue-chip stocks would steer clear of complicated derivatives, but in fact, throughout his investing career, Buffett has capitalised on the advanced options-trad

🥇🌠🌠☄️🐯🔫🏦 Sell 2 cash covered put on Manulife recived 4% for 2 months with only $3850 usd  My first option trade was similar to this  .Alrighty then! So you've got $4000 to play with and you're feeling adventurous. You decide to sell not one, but TWO cash-covered put options on Manulife with a strike price of 19 and a premium of 0.75 per option. And each option represents 100 shares of the underlying stock, woohoo! So, you do the math and realize you've scored a sweet premium of $150, which is the maximum profit you can make from this trade. That's some cha-ching in your pocket, baby! But of course, there's always a risk involved. The maximum loss you could incur is $3,750 (oh no!), which is the difference between the strike price and the premium received, multiplied by the n

How To Pick The Option Strike Price Correctly? 😎

I’d like to thank Tiger for awarding the weekly top predictions for SPY once again. Looking forward to contribute towards the community to hunt as a pack with daily trade levels posted. All the best! 💪 What is The Strike Price? Let’s explore further on how to pick the correct strike price as it is one of the two most important decisions you’ll make when trading options. The other is choosing the right expiry date. The strike price is the price that you agree to either buy or sell an underlying asset for in an options contract. Before we explain the strike price in options trading further, you need to understand the concept of rights and obligations when buying or selling call or put options: - When you buy a call option, you have the right to buy an underlying market at the strike pr

🌠🤩👌🔫☄️🏦🐯Strangle strategy on $Manulife(MFC)$  Let's talk about a fun and exciting option strategy called the "Strangle". In this strategy, we sell a put option higher at 10% of the spot price and sell a call option lower at spot price. But first, let's talk about the stock we'll be using for our example: Manulife. Currently, Manulife's spot price is $18.90. Now, let's say we want to sell a put option with a strike price of $20, which pays $1.20, and a call option with a strike price of $18, which pays $1.0. With these options, we can execute the strangle strategy. The idea behind a strangle is to make a profit when the stock price experiences a large move in either direction. By selling both a put option and a call option, we are essentially b

$Manulife(MFC)$  let's talk Manulife. This Canadian multinational insurance company has been killing it lately. As of April 25th, 2023, their dividend price is at 0.969276, and their earnings per share over the past twelve months are at a solid 2.72. That means they've been raking in the dough, with a total revenue of $15.28B in 2022 FY and net income of $7.18B. Not too shabby, huh? The only bummer is that we couldn't get the cash per share info. Still, I'd say it's a good time to sell Manulife put at $18 for septe expiry at 1.05 premium. That's around 7% for 5 months and a buffer of $1  🐯 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯 Dear tiger readers Please help to share post also clicking the repost button and follow me as I published my post on my ideas and tradi

Options Trading Hits 50-Year Mark!

50 years ago, on April 26th, 1973, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) opened its doors and listed option trading began. For the first time, such things as standardized striking prices and expiration dates were available on an option contract. On that first day, call options (no puts) were traded on 16 stocks. A lot has changed over the decades since that pioneering exchange introduced contracts to buy or sell 100 shares of stock at a fraction of the price of the underlying security.Trading volume on options markets has soared especially in recent years. At least 16 exchanges handle options trades in the U.S. today.A brief history of options.I. Inception of Options and CBOEIn 1935, shortly after the SEC began regulating the over-the-counter options market, it granted the Chicago Board
