$PacWest(PACW)$ My view is that these bank stocks will bounce around a fair bit as rates stay high and the economy slows down, at least until FDIC insurance is extended for businesses, which I suspect Congress will do at some point, despite its dysfunctionality.PACW seemed to be to stabilize around $9 for a long time and were it not for the short attack that might be its natural price. Whether it gets there anytime soon, though...

$Lucid Group Inc(LCID)$ Air Touring base model is $112k. Compared to $50k Tesla Model Y. or $87.5k Tesla model S. Lucid has to cut its prices in half to even be competitive. Unless Lucid comes out with a sub-$50k SUV in the next few months, don't see how they make it past 1Q24 without declaring bankruptcy. CEO Rawlinson has to do better than one lavishlhy expensive car after another

$Netflix(NFLX)$ Linear is a bundle. It's just sports and news and reruns. The demise of it doesn't lead to more content on streaming. It just means legacy studios need to pull their own weight. They can't get paid for half of the cable subs that don't watch their channels.

$Carvana Co.(CVNA)$ The thing I find interesting is this company has never reported positive earnings and continues to burn cash at a precipitous pace from operations. Even if the company somehow gets cashflow positive it still would have to pay back its massive debt which is trading at . Because no one actually believes they will be able to do so.

$Cloudflare, Inc.(NET)$ First, a drop from 60 to 40 for this kind of company is not something unusual...now, the drop from 200 to 40, that's indeed very big, and, in my view, is because the market is strongly asking now valuation based on PROFIT (at least, expected profit), and not sales

$Upstart Holdings, Inc.(UPST)$ Upstart has built a strong business model based on utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy of lending decisions. This technology-driven approach has and continues to show promising results in assessing borrower creditworthiness and reducing default rates. Even if take rates fluctuate in the short term, Upstart's unique value proposition remains intact, positioning them well for long-term success. And I dont have to take my word for it. In this horrible macroeconomic environment, Castellakes, and the folks who are throwing over $6B at UPST and willing to take its originated loans are convinced.

$Qualcomm(QCOM)$ Don't understand the doom either as $QCOM makes very little on actually selling the modems to $AAPL. All of the money is on the royalties that won't go away whether Apple fully develops a 5G modem or not.

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ I think everybody is little too enthusiastic here. Sales up, operating income up, net income up and... Cash Flow from Operations down really, for a software/cloud company of this size. I may be wrong, but it seem unusual to have strong income numbers and lower Cash Flow. Perhaps MSFT pushed to the max to make the quarter in the last month. For full disclosure I own some MSFT share and do not plan to sell it.

$Pfizer(PFE)$ Pfizer PFE announced that it plans a debt offering worth $31 billion to fund its pending acquisition of cancer drugmaker, Seagen SGEN. The bond sale is probably one of the largest debt offerings of all time. At a 6% coupon, PFE will have an annual interest payment of $1.8 Billion on this debt. Pay attention to this, what is the coupon of the debt? Do the newly issued bonds decline in value after they are issued?

$Alphabet(GOOG)$ Its financial incentive to stop this dependance now that these very large models are moving from research into production is high and growing. They are literally already taking billions of operating profit from MSFT, and I don’t see MSFT just standing for someone stealing their leverage. They are working on their own AI accelerator with the goal of putting all OpenAI onto it. Will it work? Who knows.

$Alphabet(GOOG)$ I am very interested in that Grace CPU once it gets in the wild. The biggest thing holding back any competing hardware is the software fragmentation, and Nvidia/CUDA being the default setting for almost everyone not named Google since 2012.

$Moderna, Inc.(MRNA)$ The data shows that the mRNA shot has adverse outcomes. Doesn't prevent infection or spreading. More young people droping dead of heart attacks due to being fully "vaxed" should give everyone pause.

$C3.ai, Inc.(AI)$ On a technical basis. Does AI take out the previous high in April $34-35 ? Or does the fun stop well before that…maybe $30 ? I don’t see it ripping to $35 again, but earnings are coming (which they pre released). The AI news is getting very saturated imo.
