$Micron Technology(MU)$ $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ Some kind of catalyst will likely be needed to break the downward momentum. Not sure the tech rout is ready to throw in the towel just yet. It wouldn't be surprising if the selling continues in the near term.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Shorts got this back to where it was 3 days ago. For the bulls, it turned into a pretty rough day. I don't expect much movement on a Friday heading into election week, so it feels like a wait-and-see situation for now.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ SK Hynix will be aggressively buying back cheap shares, and Micron will follow suit as soon as CHIPS Act restrictions expire December 9th.
$SK hynix(SKHY)$ Koreans don't play small, they play on a galactic scale. SK Hynix's reported margins are approaching 80%. Then look at the long-term investment plans: Samsung ~$1.7T SK Hynix ~$740B TSMC ~$265B Micron $250B+ Tesla/SpaceX Terafab potentially $100B+ Different technologies and timelines, of course. But SK Hynix's ~$400B Yongin complex is already under construction. Physical AI, robotics, agentic AI, space computing, biotech discoveries... all demanding more chips, memory and compute. Nobody knows how big demand could become by 2030 and beyond. If this isn't one of the strongest signals of where AI is heading, I don't know what is. There's a lot of money flowing into South Korea right now. The real hurricane might still be coming
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Sounds promising, but they probably aren't going to announce anything super significant and front-run the start of their buybacks. Any real investor should be able to have patience for a couple of months. The cheaper the stock, the more shares they can buy back, and the more they increase earnings per share as the share count decreases.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ 1100 incoming this week, for no other reason than the market making absolutely no sense. People on both sides try to justify the moves based on nothing but noise, and you can tell that's what's happening because the articles will come out saying the reason it ran to 1100 is the great earnings, then when it drops for three days straight, the reason becomes that the earnings weren't that great after all.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ At some point soon, the market makers won't be able to hold this back anymore. The pent-up pressure will be like a champagne cork. It's going to pop, and pop hard.
