The group that short sell yesterday and the day before need to buy back to cover their position today unless they short sell again today.but if they do that and exceed $2mil they have to report to MAS. Now is the time to hold them hostage to whatever price we ask( can only do this if nobody sell at low price & short seller have reached $2 mil limit holding as they have to report to MAS). That is why to punish short seller everyone must do their part. Like in America recently.

As far as I know they do not own any down stream for raw material ( wheat, sugar, potatoes etc. ...) most commodity prices going up( look at oil and gas). I think they are squeezed between a rock and a sea. Drown or bruised bad.they are into food but not essential items. Most new markets they are in , they are not market leader ( except Ukraine & russia). All their essential business components like raw material( sugar, wheat etc..) and transport are all going up. THIS RHB ANALYSIS IS SKEWED on purpose or otherwise. IT LISTED 1ST QUARTER FINANCIAL RESULT THAT MEAN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS( jan- march). what is important is the war started after march 2022. They have loss their biggest market Russia & Ukraine (40%+ revenue) when the war started mainly due to embargo of Russia. I do not believe they can do any business with Russia as Singapore is also one of the signatory after march 2022. If they found a way of doing business that is even worse because they will get penalised severely if ever USA or Singapore decided to take action on them. Either way is no good. Those news are well expected. Wonder what are the new CEO going to do about it. Is he going to sit there and suck his thumb and do nothing? By the way that is what most if not all government related companies do. Why no shareholders pressure him to spell out his strategy for the company.? A good story even it is half cooked can do justice to the company shares. Not keeping quiet. I believe CEO is loss just like when he is managing TOLL( Australia). Yet they say they are doing very well and even their stock is doing not bad consider the hugh blow they suffer in Russia and Ukraine. How can a Company recovered so fast? They never go bankrupt is already a miracle. Now I know why. It is creative accounting. They also sold of their building as was published. Profit must be from the sale of asset and maybe many more accounting maneuver. But all this is temporary and the fundamental is not good. It show that they likely are in cash flow problem too. Please do your own due diligence study.
$Carnival(CCL)$After a good quarterly result. The price suddenly dropped so much in the opening hour. It only mean 2 things:(1) the short sellers are pressing it down so as to bring in sellers at a low which they will cover their position. (2) someone know of somethings that is negative to the company. My take is buy the dip. It will go up in a few days ,maybe even later. As point (1) is more likely. Please do your own due diligence.
$JIUTIAN CHEMICAL GROUP LIMITED(C8R.SI)$can everyone hold this stock longer? yesterday(19th) the short position is roughly 40% of the daily volume.today strongly short seller pushing it down again.Tomorrow they have to cover their yesterday(19th) position.so if tomorrow cannot find sellers they have to buy higher to cover unless they short again.which result in bigger position and paying higher cost( interest & other cost).In longer term they cannot hold and have to buy at any price. It is call a short squeeze. Can we gang up & punish this opportunistic group of investors call short sellers?.
