In Singapore, the top 3 banks are DBS, UOB and OCBC.  In Malaysia, one of the best bank is Public Bank Berhad (PBB). Public Financial Holding Limited(0626.HK) is a subsidiary owned by PBB. In Malaysia, I was using their PBB's loan for my apartment. I can tell you, their staffs are very efficient. I remembered once that would like to change my loan from fixed to flexi loan and they able to prepare all the necessary in few days.  Also, if you look at their share price, it has increased over the time. Due to my faith in PBB's management, I also have the same faith in Public Financial Limited Berhad in Hong Kong as both companies have the same founder, Mr. Teh Hong Piow.
