As a long-term investment, it’s a good place to start, especially if you want to safeguard your savings from the effects of inflation and get an additional source of income. REITS ETFs are only ideal for individuals prepared to hold on to investments for more extended periods.

The book that helped me most in my investment. 100 baggers by Christopher Mayer. It taught me the importance of long term investing. In the long run, ROE will approximate share return.Another book that I cannot forget was "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Rober Kiyosaki, many years back.Among my future reading list are "Stocks for the Long Run" by Jeremy Siegel & "How to make money in stocks" by William J O'Neil

I will recommend $WILMAR INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(F34.SI)$ simply because its extensive involvement in agricultural commodity biz which is relatively resilient to both inflation or recession.To elaborate, their products are mostly staple foods and their demand is inelastic to the price. An excellent defence and offence character in an inflation and recession situation.

I would definitely explore auto-investing as it works similar to the concept of dollar-cost-averaging and takes away the inertia and stress of timing the market. Stocks that would be great for auto-invest would be index-ETF like SPY or VWRA as indexes grow over time, so its probably the safest choice. Other stocks i would consider would be stable large cap stocks like $Microsoft(MSFT) as their prices are rather volatile but they look to have safe growth potential However while auto investing is good for people who is busy and want to adopt dollar average method. There are people would prefer to read up the news about the companies and invest using own decision to maximise profit.

I am bullish on $Sea Ltd(SE)$ as its share price is recently on the upswing as investors are more optimistic about the slowing down of the high inflation and the Feds tapering off the interest rates hike by mid 2023.At the last earnings report 1Q2022, Sea's revenue rose 64% year on year to USD2.9 billion, which beats analysts estimates by USD 40 billion. SEA has 3 divisions - Garena, Shopee and SEA Money. Garena's revenue rose 45% year on year. Shopee is still growing by leaps and bounds as its revenue has risen over 64% and gross orders soared 71% to USD1.9 billion. SEA money' s revenue has grown an outstanding 360% year on year to USD236 million.

$Bed Bath & Beyond(BBBY)$ A coordinated attackalongside MSM creating confuse/panic selling, Deja Vu to the attacks during GME/AMC squeeze back 2021. Ryan Cohen did file Form 144 required as on any sharehold with more than 10% stakes, in order to sell his stocks and options IF he intend to. It basically gives him the right to sell like any of us. BUT he has not sold a single share. 

Tiger Broker's investment platform is one of my recent online book i like nowadays! I realise I have been spending more time on reading since I have Tiger Broker in my handphone since it is so convenient and it's benefited me a lot as it gave me exposure to such a variety of latest/updated news that I can't miss for a better chance at improving my investment strategy from 2023 onwards!!

I will like to recommend him $Visa(V)$ and/or $MasterCard(MA)$ with cash being a thing of a past and either of these companies are involved in many promising startups that involve disrupting traditional payments.Also, would like to recommend him to invest in $Sono Group N.V.(SEV)$ I love its clean energy idea and its sustainability will help save money and preserve our earth 🌎.

2022 is a year that provides we learn how to be patient and most importantly invest with money that is not needed immediately or an emergency fund. That way, we will be able to withstand fluctuations in price fluctuations and be able to hold for a long time not to sell our assets even though the price has dropped.

So far 2024 has provided some gains for me to the market index after a painful 2 years of downturn.

Have a well deserved break with the market finally recovering of sort.

Keppel DC reit announces DPU increase of 2.5%. It's not alot, but at least it's not decreasing. There is a news that data centers are in high demand....not sure if it will benefit Keppel DC REITs?Microsoft saw only minimal interruption due to COVID-19 to its robust adjusted EPS growth. Now, analysts expect that pace to decelerate further as Microsoft reports in increase in adjusted EPS of just 5.5% YOY in Q4 FY 2022. This would mark the smallest increase in at least four years.
