While shares have soared, several insiders are cashing out. What Happened: Nvidia reported first-quarter financial results on May 24 that came in above analysts’ expectations. The company also provided guidance that came in well ahead of what analysts were forecasting for the next quarter and full fiscal year. The strong results led to Nvidia shares surging and the company becoming the newest member of the $ 1 trillion market capitalization club. While shares have continued to soar to new highs, several insiders have decided to take advantage and sell shares.Benzinga previously reported on board member Tench Coxe filing for a proposed sale of 100,000 shares on May 26. The 100,000 shares were expected to bring in proceeds of $37.9 million for Coxe. The filing by Coxe also revealed that the shares were purchased back in 1997, prior to Nvidia being a public company, which occurred later in January 1999.Coxe is among the insiders that have filed to sell Nvidia shares in June. Coxe filed to sell 50,000 shares for estimated proceeds of $21.1 million on June 14.Board member Harvey Jones filed for several transactions involving Nvidia shares. Jones, who has been on the board since 1993, filed to sell 119,795 shares for proceeds of $48.3 million on June 14. The filing listed acquisition dates of 1997, 2005, 2016 and 2017 for the shares that were being sold. The sale by Jones followed a previous transaction on June 6 to sell 70,205 shares for proceeds of $28.4 million. After the latest transaction, Jones would own 676,394 shares in the H.C. Jones Living Trust and 137,934 shares directly.Board member Brooke Seawell, who has been on the Nvidia board since 1997, also filed to sell 860 shares for estimated proceeds of $365,233. The filing listed the shares with an acquisition date of May 2022 and were listed as an equity compensation. Why It’s Important: Insider sales can happen for a number of reasons, including for tax purposes or to offset low salary and compensation. The insiders selling shares also still own sizable stakes in the technology giant. In the case of Coxe, the board member still owns over four million Nvidia shares, making him the third largest individual shareholder of Nvidia, trailing only founder and CEO Jensen Huang and fellow board member Mark Stevens.Coxe is worth an estimated $2.7 billion, according to Forbes.Analysts have raised their price targets on Nvidia shares in the aftermath of the chipmaker’s first-quarter results and second-quarter guidance. Targets remain above current levels in most cases. The Nasdaq Composite Index's losses roughly doubled the 8% decline in the S&P 500 in the past 12 months.Sure, some of that slump makes sense given rising interest rates and the potential for a recession ahead. But those issues don't threaten the five-year outlook for industry-leading, highly profitable tech companies. With that backdrop in mind, let's look at a few good reasons to take advantage of the stock market pullback to make long-term investments in Microsoft and Adobe shares.MicrosoftThere's little doubt that Microsoft will have a tough fiscal 2023. Sales in the second-quarter period rose just 2% as strong demand for its cloud services was offset by slumping sales in areas like PC and video game software. The tech giant is going through some major growth hangovers in these areas, which saw huge gains in earlier phases of the pandemic.Yet Microsoft's financial strength is even more impressive in the context of this cyclical slowdown. The company generated $20.4 billion of operating income on $52.7 billion of revenue in Q2. That 39% profit margin puts it among the most profitable large companies on the market.Microsoft was also able to send $10 billion of cash to shareholders through stock buybacks and a rising dividend in Q2. This flow of cash should cushion investors' returns while they hold this diverse growth stock through the industry ups and downs.AdobeAdobe's business is setting sales and earnings records, but the stock is down significantly in the past year. That contrast can be explained by increasing fears that Adobe will issue a weak outlook in its next earnings update, slated for mid-March.Patient investors can look past those short-term concerns toward Adobe's bright future. The software specialist is finding plenty of room to expand its customer base while boosting its service offerings. Revenue was up 15% in the last full year after accounting for currency exchange shifts, on top of huge gains a year earlier.Adobe generated a record $7.8 billion of operating cash flow in fiscal 2022 as well, giving managment flexibility to continue investing heavily in growth initiatives even as many industry peers pulled back on spending. The company's next earnings update might confirm that 2023 will be another year of slowing growth. Heading into the report, management is calling for annual sales gains of roughly 13%, compared to 15% in 2022 and a 23% spike in fiscal 2021.That slump won't last forever, considering Adobe's dominant position in digital content production. In the meantime, investors can grab this stock at a huge discount. Its current valuation of 8.6 times annual sales is near the lowest that shareholders have seen in the past five years.Sure, the next few quarters might be rocky for its industry. But Adobe is likely to lead its niche out of the slowdown when the inevitable rebound starts. That fact makes the stock an attractive one for growth-focused investors to consider owning here in early 2023.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ADBE":0.9,"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2366,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9940457100,"gmtCreate":1678140925300,"gmtModify":1678140928689,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3571613755500186","authorIdStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"K","listText":"K","text":"K","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9940457100","repostId":"1191834238","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2843,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9940457065,"gmtCreate":1678140849158,"gmtModify":1678140852204,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3571613755500186","authorIdStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ ","listText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ ","text":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9940457065","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2295,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9938561526,"gmtCreate":1662636649165,"gmtModify":1676537106285,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3571613755500186","authorIdStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9938561526","repostId":"1154244543","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1154244543","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1662650625,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1154244543?lang=en_US&edition=full_marsco","pubTime":"2022-09-08 23:23","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple: Delivering For Everyone","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1154244543","media":"Seeking Alpha","summary":"SummaryNewest set of iPhones unveiled on Wednesday.Apple didn't raise prices as some were expecting.Finding a balance is the best way to go.On Wednesday, technology giant Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) held its ","content":"

Summary

Newest set of iPhones unveiled on Wednesday.

Apple didn't raise prices as some were expecting.

Finding a balance is the best way to go.

On Wednesday, technology giant Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) held its much anticipated September product unveiling event. This year, expectations had been a little muted as consumers grapple with high inflation, so device pricing was going to be the key theme. In the end, Apple delivered with something for everyone, which could set up the company nicely for the holiday season.

Let me start with some of the non-core products. Apple Watch Series 8 features a new temperature sensor along with some other tracking features, plus car crash detection. The company unveiled a new entry level SE version that goes for $249, which has a 30% larger face and is 20% faster. Consumers are also being treated to a new Ultra version that starts at $799, which is larger and has better battery life, while being geared towards the extreme fitness crowd. A second generation of the AirPods Pro was also unveiled, featuring a new chip and much improved audio.

Of course, the star of the show was going to be the new series of iPhones. As expected, the new iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively, and contain last year's A15 Bionic chip. These phones, along with the Watch, have a new service using Globalstar (GSAT) satellites for emergency use. The Plus model has the best battery life ever in an iPhone according to the company, while these two entry level devices feature a much improved camera system. The 14 will be available on September 16th, which gives it more than a week of sales in the current fiscal Q4 period, while the 14 Plus isn't available until October 7th.

As for the Pro versions, they have a pill-like space at the top of the screen, known as the Dynamic Island, that changes based on the type of notification or action that is occurring, such as charging a phone or playing music. These models have an always-on display, along with a brighter screen and 48 megapixel camera sensor, and feature the newest chipset, the A16 Bionic. Perhaps the biggest news for the iPhone on Wednesday was pricing, which can be seen in the graphic below.

Yearly iPhone Lineup(Apple Store)

There were a handful of reports in recent weeks and months that Apple may increase prices this year, primarily due to inflation. Lately, these rumors seemed to focus more on the Pro versions only, but it turns out we didn't get any true price increases. Apple is swapping the mini for the Plus, which is a positive for average selling prices, along with the 12 this year being more expensive than the 11 was last year. For those looking for some value, the base 13 mini and regular 13 have double the storage than their year earlier counterparts did last year at the same price.

The key for Apple here in my opinion is that it is improving its effort to provide something for everyone. Look at what the company did with the Watch. It has its primary version of the device, a cheaper "SE" model, and now a premium Ultra model. This year, Apple has separated the Pro versions of the iPhone a bit more from their entry level counterparts, given the higher end models get the newest chipsets, yet they didn't get an added price boost. As some of the early analyst comments suggest, Apple delivered modest upgrades this year, so it didn't take advantage of the consumer by raising prices in a tough inflation environment.

While it may not be as important as it used to be, the iPhone is still the dominant product line for Apple. In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which ends later this month, sales of the smartphone represented more than 54.2% of the company's revenues. That's actually up a little over the prior year's first three quarters, as supply chain issues have pressured sales of other devices. As the graphic below shows, the iPhone has still shown some decent revenue growth over the longer term. The 2022 number below with an asterisk is my current estimate, and the key here is that the iPhone could be about to report its first $200 billion fiscal sales year.

Fiscal Year iPhone Revenues(Company Filings)

It was just a couple of weeks ago where Apple shares were north of $175 and the financial media was talking about a new all-time high potentially coming soon. However, the market has pulled back on fears that the Fed will need to continue its aggressiveness to slow down inflation. September is also the month where the Fed's maximum balance sheet runoff amount doubles. Thanks to the pullback, the average price target now represents decent upside for Apple shares, but this is a very tough environment to recommend going long almost any name.

In the end, my key takeaway from Apple's event on Wednesday was that the company wants to deliver for everyone. This year, expectations had been a little muted as consumers grapple with high inflation, so device pricing was going to be the key theme. In the end, Apple delivered with something for everyone, which could set up the company nicely for the holiday season.Let me start with some of the non-core products. A second generation of the AirPods Pro was also unveiled, featuring a new chip and much improved audio.Of course, the star of the show was going to be the new series of iPhones. The 14 will be available on September 16th, which gives it more than a week of sales in the current fiscal Q4 period, while the 14 Plus isn't available until October 7th.As for the Pro versions, they have a pill-like space at the top of the screen, known as the Dynamic Island, that changes based on the type of notification or action that is occurring, such as charging a phone or playing music. These models have an always-on display, along with a brighter screen and 48 megapixel camera sensor, and feature the newest chipset, the A16 Bionic. Perhaps the biggest news for the iPhone on Wednesday was pricing, which can be seen in the graphic below.Yearly iPhone Lineup(Apple Store)There were a handful of reports in recent weeks and months that Apple may increase prices this year, primarily due to inflation. It has its primary version of the device, a cheaper \"SE\" model, and now a premium Ultra model. The 2022 number below with an asterisk is my current estimate, and the key here is that the iPhone could be about to report its first $200 billion fiscal sales year.Fiscal Year iPhone Revenues(Company Filings)It was just a couple of weeks ago where Apple shares were north of $175 and the financial media was talking about a new all-time high potentially coming soon. However, the market has pulled back on fears that the Fed will need to continue its aggressiveness to slow down inflation. September is also the month where the Fed's maximum balance sheet runoff amount doubles. Thanks to the pullback, the average price target now represents decent upside for Apple shares, but this is a very tough environment to recommend going long almost any name.In the end, my key takeaway from Apple's event on Wednesday was that the company wants to deliver for everyone. The company broadened the Watch lineup by introducing a new Ultra model, while also providing further separation between the Pro and non-Pro models of the iPhone. While there were concerns that Apple could raise smartphone prices, it kept things mostly in check, other than the switch out of the mini for the new Plus model. The company certainly delivered the goods, so now investors will be watching to see how responsive the consumer This year, expectations had been a little muted as consumers grapple with high inflation, so device pricing was going to be the key theme. In the end, Apple delivered with something for everyone, which could set up the company nicely for the holiday season.Let me start with some of the non-core products. A second generation of the AirPods Pro was also unveiled, featuring a new chip and much improved audio.Of course, the star of the show was going to be the new series of iPhones. It has its primary version of the device, a cheaper \"SE\" model, and now a premium Ultra model. The company certainly delivered the goods, so now investors will be watching to see how responsive the consumer is.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"AAPL":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":998,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9949658499,"gmtCreate":1678635142112,"gmtModify":1678635143759,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ ","listText":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ ","text":"$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9949658499","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2520,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9049599531,"gmtCreate":1655811954423,"gmtModify":1676535709581,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Thanks ","listText":"Thanks ","text":"Thanks","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9049599531","repostId":"1143265344","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1392,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":890302173,"gmtCreate":1628081302292,"gmtModify":1703500820456,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/890302173","repostId":"1133954805","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1063,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":187831359811736,"gmtCreate":1686885122961,"gmtModify":1686885126742,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good ","listText":"Good ","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/187831359811736","repostId":"1162502876","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1162502876","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1686876358,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1162502876?lang=en_US&edition=full_marsco","pubTime":"2023-06-16 08:45","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Nvidia Insiders Continue To Sell Shares After Hitting All-Time Highs, $1 Trillion Market Cap: What Investors Should Know","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1162502876","media":"Benzinga","summary":"One of the best-performing stocks of the year is Nvidia Corporation, a semiconductor company seeing ","content":"
\n
One of the best-performing stocks of the year is Nvidia Corporation, a semiconductor company seeing strong interest in its artificial intelligence capabilities. That fact makes the stock an attractive one for growth-focused investors to consider owning here in early 2023.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"ADBE":0.9,"MSFT":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2366,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9940457100,"gmtCreate":1678140925300,"gmtModify":1678140928689,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"K","listText":"K","text":"K","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9940457100","repostId":"1191834238","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2843,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":186454172,"gmtCreate":1623535765196,"gmtModify":1704205505801,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Hmm","listText":"Hmm","text":"Hmm","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/186454172","repostId":"1148565686","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":803,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":368605739,"gmtCreate":1614314343821,"gmtModify":1704770543156,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok ","listText":"Ok ","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/368605739","repostId":"1108379103","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":960,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":318917348,"gmtCreate":1611840637384,"gmtModify":1704864313349,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great ","listText":"Great ","text":"Great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/318917348","repostId":"1180756542","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":751,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9949633366,"gmtCreate":1678572873456,"gmtModify":1678572877146,"author":{"id":"3571613755500186","authorId":"3571613755500186","name":"Discus","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fa772eba0bc9c5f1b5f60264ae25236b","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571613755500186","idStr":"3571613755500186"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"K","listText":"K","text":"K","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9949633366","repostId":"2318056012","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2318056012","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Stock Market Quotes, Business News, Financial News, Trading Ideas, and Stock Research by Professionals","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Benzinga","id":"1052270027","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d08bf7808052c0ca9deb4e944cae32aa"},"pubTimestamp":1678442703,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2318056012?lang=en_US&edition=full_marsco","pubTime":"2023-03-10 18:05","market":"us","language":"en","title":"RLX Technology Q4 Adj EPS $0.03 Down From $0.06 YoY, Sales $49.30M Miss $78.41M Estimate","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2318056012","media":"Benzinga","summary":"RLX Technology (NYSE:RLX) reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.03 per share.
