The highly anticipated event sent TSLA stock revving up as investors prepared for the electric vehicle(EV) company’s expansion into Europe. It didn’t take long for the factory to begin production, either. However, CEO Elon Musk is now already looking to expand the facility further. Specifically, Tesla is moving to acquire a large plot of land directly adjacent to the facility. That has both investors and consumers watching closely.Despite this positive potential catalyst, TSLA stock has been declining today. Shares began the day by sliding into the red and have made no progress since. As of this writing, TSLA is down more than 8%. Although its pattern does hint at a rebound, the stock will likely end the day in the red. That said, investors should note that there are several other factors outside of the company pushing TSLA stock down. For one, the Federal Reserve announced another interest rate hike yesterday. This has triggered a massive market selloff, sending many large cap stocks plunging across the board. Bearish energy is also surrounding Big Tech; names like Amazon(NASDAQ:AMZN) and Alphabet(NASDAQ:GOOG, NASDAQ:GOOGL) are dropping this week. With the Berlin expansion in motion, however, TSLA stock should pull back into the green soon enough. What’s Happening with TSLA Stock? To start, let’s take a closer look at Tesla’s pending land acquisition. Electrek obtained a statement that details the following:“The Tesla company is planning to massively expand its property in Grünheide (Oder-Spree) […] Accordingly, the company intends to purchase approximately 100 hectares of land located directly east of the Tesla site between the RE1 railway line and the L23 and L38 state roads.”At present, Gigafactory Berlin is located on 300 acres owned by Tesla. According to the report, however, Tesla plans to purchase the additional land for a train station and further storage areas. As of now, the plan is for a railway to transport supplies into the factory while also moving completed Tesla EVs out. While this has yet to be finalized and no official price for the land has been set, Electrek speculates that the purchase will amount to around 13 million euros (roughly $13.7 million). While details around this deal are still emerging, the purchase is unlikely to fall through. It also isn’t hard to see why the Berlin expansion makes sense for Tesla; the proposed railway would certainly help the company streamline production and churn out EVs at the new German facility. Throughout Europe, demand is only increasing— and Tesla is working hard to secure its market share. What It MeansThis Berlin deal isn’t the only recent expansion plan from Tesla. Specifically, the company has also confirmed plans to expand its Shanghai-based Gigafactory, ramping up production to 450,000 EVs per year. Tesla is clearly focused on shaping the Berlin facility in the same way, scaling production and upping efficiency. Once the deal is confirmed, TSLA stock should rise as the expansion boosts production. All this is in keeping with Tesla’s mission of maintaining its spot at the top of the EV sector. It’s not just the Shanghai plant that’s “back with a vengeance,” as Musk promised. It’s the entire company.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2466,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9061487352,"gmtCreate":1651667674708,"gmtModify":1676534944668,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3572385806607275","authorIdStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Happy] The event, also called the Cyber Rodeo, marks the opening of the electric vehicle(EV) producer’s new factory based in Austin, Texas. This facility serves as a production hub for the Model Y. Today, though, a lucky 15,000 people will be able to see what else is going on behind its doors. TSLA stock is currently trading flat, but this highly anticipated event promises to generate more momentum for shares. For all the hype that has surrounded GigaFest, this week has still been difficult for TSLA stock. Shares rose this morning but were quick to fall after an hour or so. However, they have since picked up new upward momentum.GigaFest is set to begin at 4 p.m. Central Standard Time. Shares of Tesla will likely rise as the event draws closer and closer. What’s Happening with TSLA Stock?Less than one month ago, Tesla successfully pulled off the grand opening of Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. The event featured everything from product updates to CEO Elon Musk dancing. While investors don’t know if the dancing will carry over to Cyber Rodeo, they should certainly expect updates on new company innovations.Gigafactory Texas’ primary focus will be Model Y production. However, a Tesla Semi truck was also spotted recently on the facility grounds. This suggests attendees will also be able to see the heavy-duty electric truck up close at the event.TSLA stock popped after Musk provided a promising update on the Cybertruckat the Berlin event. Now, reports indicate that Tesla plans to shift production of the Semi to the Austin-based facility. If it begins mass-producing the EV there, shares will see a significant spike as orders roll in.Of course, it should also be noted that the name Cyber Rodeo is likely a nod to the highly anticipated Cybertruck. The EV won’t be made for months, but the CEO clearly understands the need to keep enthusiasts excited about its pending arrival. Finally, the GigaFest will likely bring an update on Tesla’sbattery progress as well. Part of the importance of the Texas facility is the capacity it provides for battery production. It’s vital for the company’s expansion as it scales for both EVs and batteries. Barring any future complications, the Austin factory will allow Tesla to do both and drive up TSLA stock as a result. What It MeansOnly 15,000 people received invitations to GigaFest, but all eyes will be on the event as it kicks off today. Will it drive momentum for TSLA? Yes, without a doubt. But investors should be more focused on the insights the event will provide into future plans. Musk is clearly focused on expansion and scaling production. The infiltrators stole 173,600 ether, among other cryptos, according to The Wall Street Journal. \n\n\n And analytics firm Elliptic says this was the second-largest crypto hack in history -- the digital assets were worth roughly $540 million when they were stolen, and are worth around $615 million now, per WSJ. \n\n\n Ethereum is up 80.68% over the past 12 months at the time of this writing. \n\n\n Other crypto news \n\n\n In early March, U.S. President Joe Biden signed a crypto-centric executive order requiring federal agencies to begin a review of their policies related to cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. \n\n\n The executive order lists several focuses for the Biden administration in the crypto space, including consumer protection, financial stability, illicit finance, economic competitiveness, financial inclusion and innovation, and allow these agencies 60 to 120 days to formulate policy recommendations about their findings. \n\n\n See also: This map shows where the Safemoon cryptocurrency is most popular \n\n\n Additionally, the Securities and Exchange Commission recently issued a guidance to crypto exchanges urging them to recognize crypto held on behalf of customers as a liability and asset on their balance sheets, something that many public companies who facilitate crypto trading weren't doing. \n\n\n \"These risks can have a significant impact on the entity's operations and financial condition,\" the SEC accounting bulletin said. \"The staff believes that the recognition, measurement and disclosure guidance...will enhance the information received by investors and other users of financial statements about these risks, thereby assisting them in making investment and other capital allocation decisions.\" \n\n\n -Weston Blasi \n\n\n \n\n\n$(END)$ Dow Jones Newswires\n\n\n April 01, 2022 14:55 ET (18:55 GMT)\n\n\n Copyright (c) 2022 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":1,"END":1,"COIN":1,"HOOD":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1197,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":9035194170,"gmtCreate":1647529749228,"gmtModify":1676534241182,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3572385806607275","idStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Smug] ","listText":"[Smug] ","text":"[Smug]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9035194170","repostId":"1160440619","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1160440619","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1647529518,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1160440619?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-17 23:05","market":"us","language":"en","title":"What Does Tesla's Delay of Bond Issue Mean for its Stock?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1160440619","media":"TheStreet","summary":"Tesla has delayed issuance of $1 billion of bonds backed by its vehicle leases amid market volatility. When you think about the impact of raging inflation on electric-vehicle maker Tesla(TSLA), it’s na","content":"

Tesla has delayed issuance of $1 billion of bonds backed by its vehicle leases amid market volatility.

When you think about the impact of raging inflation on electric-vehicle maker Tesla (TSLA), it’s natural to think about the prices of its autos. In addition, by being one of the most technologically advanced electric vehicle companies in China, XPeng also has all the chances to become one of the first automakers to reach Level 5 automation in the following years. Considering this, we continue to believe that XPeng is a solid growth play and if you're a momentum investor, then now is a good time to purchase its shares.
\n
Firing On All Cylinders
\n
XPeng is one of the biggest EV manufacturers in China. Currently, it produces an SUV that goes under the name G3 and a sedan that's called P7. In addition, the company plans to release an upgraded version of its SUV called G3i in September and a new family-friendly sedan P5 by the end of the year. Overall, XPeng's stock showed decent results in recent months, as it has outperformed the S&P 500 Index for most of the last year, and is currently up ~5% since our latest article about its business was published in June.
\n
Chart: Seeking Alpha
\n
One of the biggest achievements of XPeng is that it has managed to successfully navigate through the initial stages of the chip shortage crisis and made a lot of progress on improving its deliveries. The latestdatasuggests that there's still a strong demand for its offerings among tech-savvy Chinese consumers, as in June alone the company delivered a record 6,565 vehicles, an increase of 617% Y/Y. In addition, its Q2 deliveries were 17,398, up 439% Y/Y, while its 1H deliveries were 30,738 vehicles, up 459% Y/Y. Another good news is that the company's Q2 deliveries beat its projections of 15,500 - 16,000 units despite the pandemic and there's every reason to believe that the momentum is very likely to hold until the end of the year at the very least.
\n
Source:InsideEVs
\n
The biggest advantage of XPeng is that it operates in China, which is considered to be the biggest EV market in the world. Thanks to it, XPeng doesn't need to outsource its manufacturing or sales to other countries as it has a huge local market to sell to back at home. What's more important is that it also has strong governmental support, as some of its manufacturing facilities that are currently being built were co-financed by Chinese local governments. By receiving such help, XPeng is now on track to complete its third manufacturing facility in Wuhan, which will help it to reach an annual capacity of at least 300,000 vehicles. For comparison, Tesla (TSLA) in 2020 sold only 137,000 Model 3s in China. Therefore, an increase of the capacity to such substantial numbers signals that XPeng is ready to tackle the competition and increase its traction across the mainland going forward.
\n
Another important fact is that XPeng is more technologically advanced in China than Tesla and others. Almost half of its R&D workforce works on autonomous driving software, and as a result, the company has managed to develop one of the most advanced navigation systems, which should help it to become one of the first to reach Level 5 automation in the following years. On top of that, over 5 million kilometers were alreadydrivenwith the help of the navigation system since its launch earlier this year, and the latest version of the software can now automaticallyparkthe car in garages without human help if it remembers the spot in which the vehicle was parked before.
\n
Risks
\n
As for the risks, we see a couple of them. First of all, XPengtradesat a price-to-sales ratio of ~16x and could be considered richly valued at its current market cap of around $37 billion. For that reason, it's not a good investment for long-term value shareholders, and for those who don't want to expose their portfolios to Chinese assets.
\n
In addition, there's a risk that the start of the potential China-US trade war could prevent XPeng from accessing the US capital markets, as its current shares could be delisted. To tackle this issue, the company just recentlyraisednearly $2 billion by executing another IPO on the Hong Kong stock exchange with a double main listing structure. This will help the company not only to have an access to the major capital market, but it will also give the Chinese mainland investors the ability to buy the stock through the Hong Kong Stock Connect, which should boost XPeng's valuation in the near future. On top of that, since XPeng's business doesn't have major exposure to outside markets, the blowback from the potential trade war will be minimal.
\n
Takeaway
\n
Despite those risks, we should not forget that China is on track to significantly decrease its carbon footprint in the next four decades. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the penetration rate of electric vehicles on Chinese roads is only going to increase in the following decades. As a result, we believe that there's plenty of room for XPeng to drive growth at this stage, and considering its great performance in Q2, we also believe that it has all the chances to become one of the biggest EV manufacturers in the region.
\n
The latest forecast suggests that XPeng could increase its revenues by 364% from $0.9 million in FY20 to $4.18 billion in FY22, while its EPS loss is also expected todecreasefrom -$0.33 in Q2'21 to only -$0.06 in Q3 and Q4. On top of that, the companyhad$5.12 billion in cash at the end of Q1, only $497 million in long-term debt, and thanks to the recent Honk Kong offering its liquidity position is already around $7 billion. In addition, by being one of the most technologically advanced electric vehicle companies in China, XPeng also has all the chances to become one of the first automakers to reach Level 5 automation in the following years. Considering this, we continue to believe that XPeng is a solid growth play and if you're a momentum investor, then now is a good time to purchase its shares.\nFiring On All Cylinders\nXPeng is one of the biggest EV manufacturers in China. Currently, it produces an SUV that goes under the name G3 and a sedan that's called P7. In addition, the company plans to release an upgraded version of its SUV called G3i in September and a new family-friendly sedan P5 by the end of the year. Overall, XPeng's stock showed decent results in recent months, as it has outperformed the S&P 500 Index for most of the last year, and is currently up ~5% since our latest article about its business was published in June.\nChart: Seeking Alpha\nOne of the biggest achievements of XPeng is that it has managed to successfully navigate through the initial stages of the chip shortage crisis and made a lot of progress on improving its deliveries. Another good news is that the company's Q2 deliveries beat its projections of 15,500 - 16,000 units despite the pandemic and there's every reason to believe that the momentum is very likely to hold until the end of the year at the very least.\nSource:InsideEVs\nThe biggest advantage of XPeng is that it operates in China, which is considered to be the biggest EV market in the world. Therefore, an increase of the capacity to such substantial numbers signals that XPeng is ready to tackle the competition and increase its traction across the mainland going forward.\nAnother important fact is that XPeng is more technologically advanced in China than Tesla and others. Almost half of its R&D workforce works on autonomous driving software, and as a result, the company has managed to develop one of the most advanced navigation systems, which should help it to become one of the first to reach Level 5 automation in the following years. On top of that, over 5 million kilometers were alreadydrivenwith the help of the navigation system since its launch earlier this year, and the latest version of the software can now automaticallyparkthe car in garages without human help if it remembers the spot in which the vehicle was parked before.\nRisks\nAs for the risks, we see a couple of them. First of all, XPengtradesat a price-to-sales ratio of ~16x and could be considered richly valued at its current market cap of around $37 billion. For that reason, it's not a good investment for long-term value shareholders, and for those who don't want to expose their portfolios to Chinese assets.\nIn addition, there's a risk that the start of the potential China-US trade war could prevent XPeng from accessing the US capital markets, as its current shares could be delisted. On top of that, since XPeng's business doesn't have major exposure to outside markets, the blowback from the potential trade war will be minimal.\nTakeaway\nDespite those risks, we should not forget that China is on track to significantly decrease its carbon footprint in the next four decades. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the penetration rate of electric vehicles on Chinese roads is only going to increase in the following decades. As a result, we believe that there's plenty of room for XPeng to drive growth at this stage, and considering its great performance in Q2, we also believe that it has all the chances to become one of the biggest EV manufacturers in the region.\nThe latest forecast suggests that XPeng could increase its revenues by 364% from $0.9 million in FY20 to $4.18 billion in FY22, while its EPS loss is also expected todecreasefrom -$0.33 in Q2'21 to only -$0.06 in Q3 and Q4. On top of that, the companyhad$5.12 billion in cash at the end of Q1, only $497 million in long-term debt, and thanks to the recent Honk Kong offering its liquidity position is already around $7 billion. As a result, XPeng doesn't have an overleveraged balance sheet, and thanks to the influx of new cash it's very unlikely that it'll be required to raise new debt or dilute its shareholders by offering new shares to fund its expansion. Therefore, we believe that its stock could be considered a growth play, especially since it has beenaddedto FTSE's indexes recently, which should help it to attract more attention from institutional investors.\nWith all of this in mind, we also think that right now is a good entry point to purchase the company's shares, as the likely increase in deliveries and capacity along with the launch of the upcoming P5 sedan in the following months could push its stock to higher levels. For that reason, we have no plans to cover our long position in XPeng anytime soon.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"XPEV":0.9,"09868":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":529,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9098983188,"gmtCreate":1643997675646,"gmtModify":1676533880205,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3572385806607275","idStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Happy] ","listText":"[Happy] ","text":"[Happy]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9098983188","repostId":"2208314051","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208314051","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643987174,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208314051?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-04 23:06","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Hypergrowth Stocks That Can Soar 216% to 257% in 2022, According to Wall Street","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208314051","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Analysts' lofty price targets imply some serious upside for these popular, fast-paced companies.","content":"
\n
You may not realize it, but the broad-based S&P 500 enjoyed a historic bounce from the March 2020 pandemic low. It took less than 17 months for the index to double from its trough, which is pretty incredible when you consider that the average annual total return, including dividends, for the S&P 500 is closer to 11% since the beginning of 1980.Despite these big gains, select analysts and investment banks see a lot more upside for a small group of hypergrowth companies (those delivering jaw-dropping sales growth). If Wall Street's loftiest price targets for the following three fast-paced stocks prove accurate, they could soar 216% to 257% in 2022.Coinbase Global: Implied upside of 216%The first hypergrowth stock with immense upside this year is cryptocurrency exchange and ecosystem Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN). Analyst Lisa Ellis of MoffettNathanson holds the high-water price target for Coinbase on Wall Street at $600. Should it reach this lofty figure, shareholders would realize a 216% return on their investment, based on where shares ended on Monday, Jan. 31.If investors take a close look at Coinbase's operating performance, they're going to like what they see. As of the end of the third quarter, the number of monthly transacting users had more than tripled from the prior-year period to 7.4 million, with assets on the platform surging to $255 billion from $36 billion, year-over-year. Likewise, the company probably delivered more than $3 billion in net income in 2021.A number of Wall Street analysts are clearly excited about the long-term prospects of the \"Big Two\" in crypto, Bitcoin and Ethereum, which account for a significant portion of Coinbase's exchange-based trading revenue. They're also intrigued about the company's ventures beyond crypto exchanges, such as setting up a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace for users. NFTs are the proof of ownership of digital assets stored on blockchain.Although cryptocurrencies have handily outperformed the stock market on an aggregate basis over the past couple of years, there's also a lot of risk that comes with such a lofty price target. For example, competition among crypto exchanges is heating up, not slowing down. Among traditional stock brokerages, commission wars eventually led to the elimination of these fees. It seemingly wouldn't be difficult for other crypto exchanges to undercut Coinbase's fees.Another concern is that the company is almost entirely reliant on external factors instead of innovation to grow. With much of its growth reliant on the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum, price weakness from the Big Two, or even a loss of interest from the investing community, could threaten to send revenue and profits markedly lower. It happened in 2018, and history suggests it could happen again. In other words, I wouldn't expect Coinbase to get anywhere near $600 in 2022.Plug Power: Implied upside of 257%Another hypergrowth stock with the potential to skyrocket this year, at least according to one Wall Street analyst, is hydrogen fuel-cell solutions provider Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG). Amit Dayal of H.C. Wainwright has Plug hitting a price target of $78, which implies up to 257% upside from where shares closed out January. You could certainly say that Plug Power finds itself in the right place, at the right time. Most countries are looking for ways to reduce carbon emissions and promote green-energy solutions. This means Plug's hydrogen fuel-cell solutions for vehicles and individual machines (like forklifts), as well as its hydrogen infrastructure hubs, should be in high demand for many years to come. What's really validated the potential for this company is the handful of major partnerships and joint ventures that have been struck since the beginning of 2021. For instance, SK Group took a 10% equity stake in the company in February 2021, with the duo forming a joint venture that'll focus on putting hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles on the road in numerous Asian markets. Around this time, Plug also formed a joint venture with French automaker Renault, known as Hyvia. Hyvia's goal is to go after 30% of the light commercial vehicle market in Europe.Growth expectations for the company have been nothing short of phenomenal. In 2020, Plug Power brought in $337 million in revenue. By 2024, management has forecast $1.7 billion in annual gross billings. This year alone, Wall Street anticipates sales growth will exceed 80%.Although this might sound like a slam-dunk investment, investors should also consider that Plug Power isn't yet profitable, and none of the 21 Wall Street analysts covering the company expect it to reach profitability in 2022. In an environment where interest rates are set to rise, unprofitable growth stocks often see their valuation multiples contract. While the technology and partnerships are intriguing, Plug Power has a lot to prove if it's ever going to hit $78 a share.Fiverr International: Implied upside of 216%A third hypergrowth stock with serious upside potential is online services marketplace Fiverr International (NYSE:FVRR). Though Wall Street's price targets have fluctuated wildly over the past year, the high-water estimate currently calls for Fiverr to hit $270. Should this lofty prognostication come to fruition, it would match Coinbase with a 216% gain.To some extent, Fiverr's appeal comes from being in the right place when the coronavirus pandemic hit. It's a platform that connects freelancers with buyers of their services, and the market for remote workers exploded in the wake of the pandemic. With inflation also soaring, we're witnessing a hybrid-work environment where remote workers have incredible wage-pricing power. However, Fiverr's persistently high sales growth rate is about more than just the pandemic. It's about providing a differentiated platform. Whereas competing online marketplaces push freelancers to price their services per hour, Fiverr's freelancers are pricing their services as a package deal. This leads to improved price transparency for buyers, and it's helped pushed Fiverr's take rate (what it gets to keep from arranging these deals on its platform) to levels that are well above its competition.Fiverr is interested in targeting larger businesses with its marketplace, too. The launch of subscription-based Fiverr Business in September 2020 provides bigger companies with project management and collaborative tools that help them use freelancers effectively. The big concern with Fiverr, similar to Plug Power, is the prospect of rising interest rates and the multiple contraction that typically accompanies a hawkish Federal Reserve. Wall Street's earnings forecast for 2022 is all over the place, with a consensus profit of $0.47 per share on the heels of 26% sales growth. Even with shares 75% below their all-time high, this works out to a price-to-earnings ratio of 182 and places the company at roughly 8 times projected sales.Admittedly, this is far less expensive than where it was nearly a year ago, with shares hitting $336 on an intra-day basis. But even its current $85 share price could be deemed pricey given the uncertainty associated with the pandemic and the future of the hybrid-work environment.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"COIN":1,".SPX":0.73,"PLUG":1,"FVRR":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":561,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091589966,"gmtCreate":1643899403435,"gmtModify":1676533869253,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3572385806607275","idStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Happy] ","listText":"[Happy] ","text":"[Happy]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091589966","repostId":"2208997843","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208997843","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1643900615,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208997843?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-03 23:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Growth Stocks With 94% to 161% Upside, According to Wall Street","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208997843","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Many investors think highly of these two companies.","content":"
\n
Long-term investors should not give too much consideration to short-term price movements, but January was certainly a rocky ride for many investors. The stock market at large sank sharply in January, sending the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEMKT:SPY) down 9% before recovering slightly in the last two days of the month. When the stock market sinks as quickly as it did, many investors turn pessimistic and worry about high-quality companies -- a mistake that could be costly in 10 years. Many analysts, however, stand firm with their conviction through these downward times. Credit Suisse's (NYSE:CS) Stephen Ju has a price target of $2,200 for MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI), which implies 94% upside from today's prices. JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) analyst Anna Lizzul has an even brighter outlook on fuboTV (NYSE:FUBO) over the next year with a price target of $28, implying 161% upside. While long-term investors should be focused on three to five years into the future, it's worth looking at some companies that analysts think could perform well in 2022.A growth story still in the early stagesMercadoLibre has found its place in Latin America as one of the largest logistics, e-commerce, and digital payments companies. The company has almost 79 million active users -- representing 12% of the Latin American population -- and it controls 37% of all logistics orders in Latin America, including 65% of Mexico's logistics space. Now that MercadoLibre has taken control of these markets in the region, it isn't sitting back on its heels. The company is still looking to grow more and continue innovating, leading to continued hypergrowth, even as a $57 billion company. In third-quarter 2021, the company saw revenue grow 73% year over year to $1.9 billion and net income grow 535% to $95 million. This growth has been partly due to MercadoLibre's innovative endeavors, like Mercado Credito, which offers credit cards and loans to merchants. MercadoLibre recently made another potentially lucrative endeavor in crypto. The company made investments in two Latin American platforms focused on bringing cryptocurrency adoption to the region: MercadoBitcoin.com, a leading crypto exchange, and Paxos, a platform that allows consumers to buy, sell, and hold crypto.Despite these forward-looking investments, many investors think that they missed the boat with MercadoLibre, considering it is up over 3,870% since coming public in 2007. However, there is still plenty of room left for it to grow, even in its core business. No Latin American country has large e-commerce adoption yet, with less than 13.5% of its retail sales being e-commerce orders. However, e-commerce is growing rapidly in the region. Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico saw 21% to 26% year-over-year growth in e-commerce sales in 2021, implying that while e-commerce is still relatively small, it is seeing major adoption in the region.MercadoLibre is a market leader in Latin America with significant shares in all three parts of its business, yet shares are down 42% from their all-time highs. With the increasing prevalence of e-commerce, digital finance, and the internet broadly going forward, I think that MercadoLibre will have tons of room to continue dominating in the region as a leader, which is why I think it has tons of upside for both next year and beyond.A different streaming serviceConsumers in the U.S. and around the world are cutting the cord. In 2021, there were 48 million U.S. households without cable, compared to 79 million with it. However, this is expected to change by 2023, with 56 million households without cable compared to just 73 million. The trend of how consumers pay for their television is changing drastically, and it has been for years, but one thing that has held many people up is the inability to get live sports and news with streaming services like Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX). Few streaming services focus on providing all-encompassing streaming for live television, except for fuboTV.With fuboTV being one of the only services focusing solely on this important aspect of TV, it has seen major adoption. The company announced preliminary fourth-quarter results -- which are not confirmed or audited, but rather updated guidance -- and reported nothing but strength. Its subscriber base is expected to reach 1.1 million users, which is growth of 100% year over year and 16% sequentially. More importantly, the company is expecting its subscriber base to churn less. It estimates that its churn rate will improve by 200 basis points compared to the year-ago period. This major growth will likely continue, especially among soccer fans. The company recently announced that it gained exclusive rights to the UEFA European Championship, which includes the 2024 and 2028 Euros -- a major competition in the world of European soccer. While the company is not profitable today -- it lost $106 million in Q3 2021 -- this has been decreasing and will likely keep improving as fuboTV sees continued growth. I think that fuboTV could thrive and enable millions of users to cut the cord across America, making the company potentially a great investment over the next decade.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"870436":1,"CS":1,"JPM":1,"FUBO":1,"MELI":0.6,"NFLX":0.6}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":524,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9002987598,"gmtCreate":1641891647142,"gmtModify":1676533659180,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3572385806607275","idStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Happy] ","listText":"[Happy] ","text":"[Happy]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9002987598","repostId":"2202204276","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2202204276","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1641891141,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2202204276?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-11 16:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla sold 70,847 China-made vehicles in December-CPCA","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2202204276","media":"Reuters","summary":"BEIJING, Jan 11 - U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc sold 70,847 China-made vehicles in December, including 245 for export, the China Passenger Car Association said on Tuesday.Tesla, which is making Model 3 sedans and Model Y sport-utility vehicles in Shanghai, sold 52,859 China-made vehicles in Novermber, including 21,127 that were exported.Chinese EV makers Nio Inc delivered 10,489 cars last month, increasing by 49.7% year on year, and Xpeng Incdelivered 16,000 vehicles. $Volkswagen","content":"

BEIJING, Jan 11 (Reuters) - U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc sold 70,847 China-made vehicles in December, including 245 for export, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) said on Tuesday.

Tesla, which is making Model 3 sedans and Model Y sport-utility vehicles in Shanghai, sold 52,859 China-made vehicles in Novermber, including 21,127 that were exported.

Chinese EV makers Nio Inc delivered 10,489 cars last month, increasing by 49.7% year on year, and Xpeng Inc delivered 16,000 vehicles. Volkswagen AG said it sold over 13,787 ID. series EVs in China in December, the fourth consecutive month in which the ID. family has delivered more than 10,000 units in China.

CPCA said passenger car sales in December in China totalled 2.14 million, down 7.7% from a year earlier.

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; It'll allow users to interact with their surroundings and each other in 3D virtual worlds. Aside from providing entertainment, these virtual worlds represents brand-new ecosystems that can be monetized in a variety of ways. In addition to payments within these virtual landscapes, there's the processing, storage, latency, digital identity/verification, and so on, that needs to be addressed to make the metaverse work. The estimated market value of the metaverse varies wildly. Matthew Ball, CEO of venture capital company Epyllion, believes the metaverse grows into a $10 trillion to $30 trillion market within 10 to 15 years. Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley foresees the metaverse being worth $8 trillion in China alone. These lofty dollar figures signal an enormous opportunity for investors. But it's important to recognize that not every company is going to be a winner. Below are two metaverse stocks (of varying risk levels) that can be bought hand over fist, as well as one for investors to avoid like the plague. The first metaverse stock to buy hand over fist: MicrosoftWhile it's not a selection that'll win any awards for originality, tech giant Microsoft is the first metaverse stock investors can confidently buy hand over fist. In my view, Microsoft has three catalysts that make it one of the smartest stocks to take advantage of metaverse growth. To start with, there's the elephant in the room: the company's January-announced $68.7 billion all-cash acquisition of interactive gaming company Activision Blizzard. On top of acquiring Activision's numerous well-known gaming franchises (Warcraft,Call of Duty, and Candy Crush), this deal is about Microsoft democratizing the game-building process and expanding the metaverse beyond gaming. Even though Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella isn't entirely certain what the definition of \"metaverse\" will pertain to, he does believe it'll represent a \"collection of communities and individual identities anchored in strong content franchises accessible on every device.\"Secondly, Microsoft'sroots to the metaverse were planted well ahead of the Activision Blizzard buyout announcement. As an example, Microsoft has been developing mixed-reality headsets for more than a half-decade. It's currently working on the third generation of its HoloLens headset, which, according to TheVerge.com, may be used by the U.S. Army for life-like mixed reality training. With mixed reality and virtual reality headsets being the initial gateway to the metaverse, Microsoft looks to be one of the few companies in position to thrive. The third catalyst is simply Microsoft'senormous operating cash flow. Thanks to rapid growth from cloud infrastructure service Azure, and exceptionally high margins and stable demand from its Windows and Office franchises, Microsoft brought in $83.9 billion in operating cash flow over the trailing 12 months. This gives the company an abundance of capital, and quite the buffer, to invest aggressively in the metaverse. The second metaverse stock to buy hand over fist: FastlyFor investors with a considerably stronger stomach for risk (and reward),Fastly is the second metaverse stock that can be bought hand over fist. The metaverse is going to take many years to develop, which means there are a number of moving parts that extend well beyond mixed reality and virtual reality headsets. Fastly is one of the better-known content delivery networks (CDNs). It's responsible for delivering content from the edge of the cloud to its destination as quickly and securely as possible. In other words, its task within the metaverse will be to reduce latency. When an action is taken within a virtual environment, Fastly will ensure there's as little delay as possible in processing that action. We've already witnessed plenty of evidence that Fastly's CDN is a popular and trusted solution. Over the past year, the company's total customer count rose to more than 2,800 from less than 2,400, while the number of enterprise customers jumped to 445 from around 380. This latter increase is particularly important, as it demonstrates enterprise clients have looked past a network outage in June 2021.Additionally, Fastly's dollar-based net expansion rate of 121% in the fourth quarter of 2021 signals that its existing customers are increasing their spending (in this case by 21% from the prior-year period). That's good news for Fastly's usage-based platform. What investors have to be mindful of areFastly's near-term losses, which have consistently come in larger than expected. However, with the company expected to pare back its marketing expenses in 2022, wider-than-anticipated losses could be a thing of the past. There's no denying Fastly's potential, but investors will have to be patient if they want to realize a big payday. The metaverse stock to avoid like the plague: Coinbase GlobalOn the other side of the coin, cryptocurrency exchange and ecosystem Coinbase Global is a metaverse stock I believe investors can avoid like the plague.Coinbase looks to have two pathways to relevance in the metaverse. First, it's the most-popular platform to buy and sell digital currencies -- and blockchain-tethered tokens have proved essential in the early stages of the metaverse.Secondly, Coinbase sees itself as providing \"an identity on-ramp into the metaverse.\" Similar to Nadella's thinking, Coinbase believes the metaverse will be a collection of communities that'll be linked together. Coinbase is working on creating non-fungible token(NFT)-based identity tags that'll be used to move seamlessly from one metaverse to another.Beyond the metaverse, Coinbase has executed well. The company ended 2021 with 11.4 million monthly transacting users, and it recorded a jaw-dropping $3.62 billion in full-year net income. That was up more than tenfold from the previous year. But there also look to be fatal flaws with Coinbase's operating model. For instance, the barrier to entry for cryptocurrency exchanges is relatively low. We've already watched trading commissions for online stock brokerages race to $0. My suspicion is we'll witness similar pricing competition in the cryptocurrency space, which will erode Coinbase's margins over time. The other substantial issue with Coinbase is that its trading platform is heavily reliant on Bitcoin and Ethereum. Unless this dynamic duo is consistently heading higher, interest in crypto investing tends to suffer through big ebbs and flows. The point being that the emotions of crypto investors, rather than Coinbase's innovation(s), are what's driving this company.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"MSFT":0.9,"FSLY":0.9,"COIN":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":942,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9099591545,"gmtCreate":1643380782217,"gmtModify":1676533813766,"author":{"id":"3572385806607275","authorId":"3572385806607275","name":"aaronh","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4633f061d6a91b98037c28e4007151ac","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3572385806607275","idStr":"3572385806607275"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[smile] ","listText":"[smile] ","text":"[smile]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9099591545","repostId":"1142601551","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1142601551","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643380379,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1142601551?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-01-28 22:32","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Jumped Nearly 5% in Morning Trading after Its Quarterly Profit Exceeded $30 Billion","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1142601551","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Apple jumped nearly 5% in morning trading after its quarterly profit exceeded $30 billion.Apple (AAP","content":"

Apple jumped nearly 5% in morning trading after its quarterly profit exceeded $30 billion.Apple (AAPL) reported record earnings of $34.63 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 25 -- the first time its quarterly profit exceeded $30 billion.
