ofTeslaclosed lower despite a strong call from Mizuho.\nAnalysts at the firm reiterated their buy rating on the stock, citing the company's leadership in the global electric vehicle market and expecting the stock to get a boost from the Biden administration's proposed infrastructure plan.\nMichael Bapis, managing director of Vios Advisors at Rockefeller Capital Management, told CNBC on Tuesday that Tesla's roughly 24% market share and ambitions in the electric vehicle, space and clean energy markets make it a name worth watching.\n\"Tesla is going to continue to be the leader in the industry, especially for the foreseeable future,\" Bapis said on\"Trading Nation.\"\"When you think Tesla, you think innovation.\"\nHe expects the company to keep delivering strong sales and earnings growth, which he said could raise demand for the stock.\n\"If you look at some of these institutional funds ... and they don't have this stock in there, they're definitely going to get questioned why,\" he said.\nAlthough Tesla did run up \"too far, too fast\" last year as people piled into the stock, Bapis said now is a great time to buy the dip.\n\"Unless someone comes in and breaks through the difficult barriers to entry, you're going to see this stock grow long term,\" he said. \"Any time you get the chance to buy it, buy it.\"\nHe added that although its supply chain has been riddled with delays and shortages, Tesla was a strong long-term buy considering its fundamentals and growth potential.\n\"I think it's the time to buy it right now and just put it away,\" he said. \"Close your eyes on the volatility for a little bit and bet on the fundamentals and the leadership of the company. I mean, you can't get a better leader than they have.\"\nIn the same \"Trading Nation\" interview, Matt Maley, chief market strategist at Miller Tabak, noted that Tesla's stock has been relatively flat for the past several months, trading around its 200-day moving average.\n\n\"You don't see that very often,\" he said. \"Whichever way it breaks away from that 200-day moving average will give us a little bit of a hint [about] its next move.\"\nThe stock is also forming a descending triangle pattern, Maley said, saying the upper end of the pattern is around $650 and the lower end sits at $563. Those are the two levels to watch, and where shares move relative to those levels will be very indicative of where Tesla is headed, he said.\n\"In the past, when the stock has been stuck in this sideways range, once it breaks out, it starts to move in a big way. This should be no different,\" he said.\nTesla's deliveries report in the first week of July could be a breakout catalyst, Maley said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":174,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189987256,"gmtCreate":1623240272575,"gmtModify":1704199046633,"author":{"id":"3575018191894279","authorId":"3575018191894279","name":"Ekab","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/faec10f8c689bfdb66e00e54675ffe83","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575018191894279","authorIdStr":"3575018191894279"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"The next meme stock to rocket ! Still, it’s not clear that any new rally will have much lasting power. An even more serious U.S. market decline cannot be ruled out over the coming couple of months.
\n
For now, the recent decline appears to have been quite modest by historical standards, smaller even than what satisfies the semi-official definition of a correction as a 10% decline. Before Thursday’s big rally, the Dow Jones Industrial AverageDJIA,0.85%had fallen around 1,200 points from its previous all-time high, or 3.4%. The S&P 500SPX,0.98%was 4.0% below its high, and the Nasdaq CompositeCOMP,1.13%was down 7.8%.
\n
Consider how the Nasdaq-focused market timers reacted to these declines. As you can see from the chart below, their average recommended equity exposure (as represented by the Hulbert Nasdaq Newsletter Sentiment Index, or HNNSI) fell to minus 10.7%. That means that the Nasdaq-focused market timers are now recommending that their clients allocate an average of 10.7% of their equity trading portfolios to going short. As recently as April 29, this average exposure level stood at plus 83.6%.
\n

\n
That reflects a remarkably quick rush for the exits — 94.3 percentage points in just 10 trading sessions. The answer is also evident in the chart: The HNNSI’s plunge over the past 10 days stopped well short of the excessive bearish zone, defined as being in the bottom 10% of the historical distribution. That zone is represented by the beige-shaded box at the bottom of the chart.
\n
The last time the HNNSI fell into that zone was in March 2020. That was when the market’s “wall of worry” became incredibly strong and was able to support an impressive rally. They are quick to jump on the bullish bandwagon when the market rallies, and then jump on the bearish bandwagon when the market declines. As a result, both rallies and declines tend to be short-lived.
\n
A longer-lasting rally will require more extreme bearishness among the market timers, and for them to stubbornly hold onto their bearishness in the wake of the rally’s initial liftoff. Excluding the volatile food and energy data, core inflation rose 0.9% in April and 3% over the past 12 months.\nINFLATION SPIKE BOLSTERS REPUBLICANS' CRITICISM OF BIDEN'S $4T SPENDING PLANS\nBut the president is slated to meet with a group of Republican senators later Thursday – his second meeting with key members of Congress this week – and is set to formally propose his American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan, which combined are projected to cost nearly $4 trillion.\nBiden says he is confident that the American people \"overwhelmingly support\" his efforts, and told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell this week that his goal is to reach a deal with bipartisan support.\n\"I want to make it clear – I want to get a bipartisan deal on as much as we can get a bipartisan deal on,\" the president said. \"And that means roads, bridges, broadband, all infrastructure.\"\nThe White House has billed the American Jobs Plan as an infrastructure package, but Republicans have criticized the administration for what it considers infrastructure.\nYELLEN SAYS INTEREST RATES MAY NEED TO RISE TO STOP ECONOMY OVERHEATING\n\"I’m not giving up on the fact that we have, you know, two million women not able to go back to work because all the daycare centers are closed or out of business, and so they can’t go back to work,\" Biden said. \"I’m not going to give up on a whole range of things that could go to the question of productivity, of increasing jobs and increasing employment, increasing revenues. I am not willing to give up on that, so we’re going to fight those out.\"\nHe added: \"So I want to know what can we agree on, and let's see if we can get an agreement and kick start this and then fight over what's left – see if I can get it done without Republicans if need be.\"\nBut amid the inflation surge, Republican lawmakers are seizing onto the swiftly rising prices, as well as lackluster job creation last month, to argue that more government funding will only hurt the economy as it recovers from the coronavirus pandemic.\n\"With this morning’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) release, it is clear that inflation is here,\" Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., told Bloomberg on Wednesday. \"We need to be a little more cautious and restrained.\"\nAMERICANS FEAR WORST INFLATION SPIKE SINCE 2013\nThe Federal Reserve, led by Chairman Jerome Powell, has held interest rates near zero since March 2020 and has repeatedly indicated it will do so until \"labor market conditions have reached levels consistent with the Committee's assessments of maximum employment and inflation has risen to 2% and is on track to moderately exceed 2% for some time.\" Powell has stressed that he sees no signs of persistent inflation.\nEconomic projections from policymakers' last meeting show that most officials expect rates to remain near zero through 2023.\nDemocrats are pushing ahead with passing the president's economic measures, known as the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan. The initiatives would invest billions in the nation's infrastructure – including roads and bridges, as well as transit systems, broadband and green energy – and would vastly expand the government's social safety net. The plans would be paid for with a slew of new tax hikes on wealthy Americans and corporations.\nBut Biden, meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Wednesday, maintained that he would be able to \"reach a compromise.\"\n\"I ran, I said I wasn't going to be a Democratic president. I'm going to be a president for all Americans,\" Biden said. \"And what the bottom line here is, we're going to see whether we can reach some consensus on a compromise on moving forward.\"\nA reporter asked the president how he planned to reach a compromise.\n\"Easy, just snap my fingers,\" Biden joked. \"It'll happen.\"\nDespite Biden's confidence in reaching a compromise,McConnell said earlier this month that he did not expect any Republican senator to support the president's push for $4 trillion in spending on infrastructure and other projects.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":212,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":191032643,"gmtCreate":1620826962682,"gmtModify":1704348985636,"author":{"id":"3575018191894279","authorId":"3575018191894279","name":"Ekab","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/faec10f8c689bfdb66e00e54675ffe83","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3575018191894279","idStr":"3575018191894279"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy the dip","listText":"Buy the dip","text":"Buy the dip","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/191032643","repostId":"1106026658","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1106026658","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1620820023,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1106026658?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-05-12 19:47","market":"us","language":"en","title":"These ‘panic events’ could soon spell relief for stock markets, says top strategist Thomas Lee","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1106026658","media":"MarketWatch","summary":"Critical information for the U.S. trading day.\n\nThe clock is ticking down to a big reading on U.S. i","content":"
\n Critical information for the U.S. trading day.\n
\n
The clock is ticking down to a big reading on U.S. inflation, a red-hot topic for markets.

In fact, out of the 5,000+ trading days since 2000, there have been only 18 — 0.3% — in which the HNNSI’s decline over the trailing 10 days was greater.
\n
To appreciate the contrarian significance of this, consider that, on average following those past few occasions when the HNNSI declined by this much and this fast, the Nasdaq Composite was 5.3% higher in one month’s time.
\n
Why, then, haven’t the contrarians become more bullish? The answer is also evident in the chart: The HNNSI’s plunge over the past 10 days stopped well short of the excessive bearish zone, defined as being in the bottom 10% of the historical distribution. That zone is represented by the beige-shaded box at the bottom of the chart.
\n
The last time the HNNSI fell into that zone was in March 2020. That was when the market’s “wall of worry” became incredibly strong and was able to support an impressive rally. That wall today is not as strong.
\n
The sentiment picture that the recent data are painting shows the market timers to be trigger-happy. They are quick to jump on the bullish bandwagon when the market rallies, and then jump on the bearish bandwagon when the market declines. Still, it’s not clear that any new rally will have much lasting power. An even more serious U.S. market decline cannot be ruled out over the coming couple of months.\nFor now, the recent decline appears to have been quite modest by historical standards, smaller even than what satisfies the semi-official definition of a correction as a 10% decline. Before Thursday’s big rally, the Dow Jones Industrial AverageDJIA,0.85%had fallen around 1,200 points from its previous all-time high, or 3.4%. The S&P 500SPX,0.98%was 4.0% below its high, and the Nasdaq CompositeCOMP,1.13%was down 7.8%.\nConsider how the Nasdaq-focused market timers reacted to these declines. As recently as April 29, this average exposure level stood at plus 83.6%.\n\nThat reflects a remarkably quick rush for the exits — 94.3 percentage points in just 10 trading sessions. In fact, out of the 5,000+ trading days since 2000, there have been only 18 — 0.3% — in which the HNNSI’s decline over the trailing 10 days was greater.\nTo appreciate the contrarian significance of this, consider that, on average following those past few occasions when the HNNSI declined by this much and this fast, the Nasdaq Composite was 5.3% higher in one month’s time.\nWhy, then, haven’t the contrarians become more bullish? The answer is also evident in the chart: The HNNSI’s plunge over the past 10 days stopped well short of the excessive bearish zone, defined as being in the bottom 10% of the historical distribution. That zone is represented by the beige-shaded box at the bottom of the chart.\nThe last time the HNNSI fell into that zone was in March 2020. That was when the market’s “wall of worry” became incredibly strong and was able to support an impressive rally. That wall today is not as strong.\nThe sentiment picture that the recent data are painting shows the market timers to be trigger-happy. They are quick to jump on the bullish bandwagon when the market rallies, and then jump on the bearish bandwagon when the market declines. As a result, both rallies and declines tend to be short-lived.\nA longer-lasting rally will require more extreme bearishness among the market timers, and for them to stubbornly hold onto their bearishness in the wake of the rally’s initial liftoff. Except for that to happen, the market to itself most likely would have to suffer a worse decline than we’ve experienced in recent days. In the meantime, enjoy this rally — while it lasts.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":218,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169519132,"gmtCreate":1623842353826,"gmtModify":1703821074241,"author":{"id":"3575018191894279","authorId":"3575018191894279","name":"Ekab","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/faec10f8c689bfdb66e00e54675ffe83","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3575018191894279","idStr":"3575018191894279"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy the dip and hodl","listText":"Buy the dip and hodl","text":"Buy the dip and hodl","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/169519132","repostId":"1122753850","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1122753850","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1623841611,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1122753850?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-16 19:06","market":"us","language":"en","title":"As Tesla stock dips, investor says ‘any time you get the chance to buy it, buy it’","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1122753850","media":"cnbc","summary":"Shares ofTeslaclosed lower despite a strong call from Mizuho.\nAnalysts at the firm reiterated their ","content":"
\n
Shares ofTeslaclosed lower despite a strong call from Mizuho.\nAnalysts at the firm reiterated their buy rating on the stock, citing the company's leadership in the global electric vehicle market and ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; I mean, you can't get a better leader than they have.\"\nIn the same \"Trading Nation\" interview, Matt Maley, chief market strategist at Miller Tabak, noted that Tesla's stock has been relatively flat for the past several months, trading around its 200-day moving average.\n\n\"You don't see that very often,\" he said. This should be no different,\" he said.\nTesla's deliveries report in the first week of July could be a breakout catalyst, Maley said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":174,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189987256,"gmtCreate":1623240272575,"gmtModify":1704199046633,"author":{"id":"3575018191894279","authorId":"3575018191894279","name":"Ekab","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/faec10f8c689bfdb66e00e54675ffe83","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3575018191894279","idStr":"3575018191894279"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"The next meme stock to rocket !
