The company initially suffered its share of struggles including having to issue debt at double-digit interest rates just to make it through the initial months of the pandemic. Again using a 1.5x PEG ratio, I could see ABNB trading at 11x sales in 2030. That represents 13% annual returns, which may be a satisfactory value proposition considering the lower risk profile of the business. I see the growth persisting due to the company taking market share in the hospitality business, as well as making inroads in the long term rental business and, eventually taking market share from the “normal” hotel business as well. The main risk to the thesis involves competition from the likes of Expedia (EXPE) and Booking (BKNG), and more importantly, Alphabet (GOOGL). ABNB has historically spent far less than EXPE and BKNG on sales & marketing, perhaps due to its brand loyalty. Investors should keep a close watch on that metric because the high profit margins are critical in justifying the current valuation. (AAPL) has recently drawn significant interest among investors as the stock has continued to outperform the market since early December. It's notable since AAPL stock has lagged the market for almost the whole year. However, investors' interests spiked following the series of successful new product launches, including its pivotal iPhone 13.

Supply chain checks from numerous sell-side analysts have also demonstrated that the delays over its iPhones have improved markedly. In addition, Goldman Sachs also highlighted that lead times were down significantly in mid-December as Apple continues to leverage strong iPhone demand in its most crucial calendar quarter.

AAPL stock continues to hold its price steadily, briefly topped a $3T market cap milestone. However, there shouldn't be any doubt that AAPL stock has had an unmistakable long-term uptrend over the years. Moreover, given that the company has multiple long-term secular drivers driving its business model, we are confident that the stock can reach $200 in 2022.

We discuss these critical drivers for AAPL stock as we head into 2022 with the $3T market cap looking over the horizon.

Services Revenue Growth Could Have Been Significantly Understated

Apple revenue and adjusted EBITDA mean consensus estimates. Data source: S&P Capital IQ

Apple bears have often pointed out the deceleration in the company's topline growth as proof of a stock that is massively overvalued. It's easy to understand what they mean. Readers can refer to the chart above, where Apple's revenue growth is estimated to decelerate over the next three years. Consensus estimates point to a revenue CAGR of just 4.6% through FY24. Moreover, its adjusted EBITDA margins are likely to remain consistent. But, AAPL is not projected to gain leverage towards its profitability. Hence, bearish investors claim they don't understand how the Cupertino company can continue to justify its current valuation.

But, we think investors need to step back and consider the critical growth drivers for AAPL moving forward. So let us present our analysis.

Apple iPhone and services revenue estimates. Data source: Trefis, author

Readers can refer to the above model, where iPhone's revenue is estimated to increase at a CAGR of just 2.2% over the next five years. However, Apple's services segment (including App Store's revenue) is projected to increase its revenue at a CAGR of 11% through FY26, reaching $115B. We think these estimates are relatively conservative. Based on these estimates, a SOTP implied fair value of $159 was reached for AAPL stock. It also includes other segments but was mainly driven by the two critical segments above. iPhone and services accounted for 43% and 25% of its SOTP valuation.

But, we believe that these estimates may not have captured the multiple growth drivers underpinning the App Store. Why?

Based on recent estimates by Sensor Tower, App Store's revenue is estimated to increase at a CAGR of 20.7% through CY25, reaching $185B. Notably, it's way ahead of the estimate of $115B that we discussed earlier for the entire services segment. Importantly, we have not even included revenue from the other services other than App Store's contribution. Therefore, we think that readers need to consider that the Street consensus may have significantly underestimated the prowess of Apple's highly profitable (estimated operating margin > 70%) App Store.

We are not saying that Sensor Tower's estimate is the source of truth. But, we wanted to highlight that investors should pay more attention to Apple's key services segment. Sensor Tower presented a region by region breakdown, which we thought seemed credible, and we encourage investors to monitor closely.

Don't Ignore Apple's Metaverse Ambitions

Renowned TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimated that Apple's AR/VR device would be released sometime in Q4'22. We believe this is significant as it augurs well for Apple's ambitions into the metaverse. There's little doubt that Meta Platforms (FB) and Microsoft(MSFT) are strengthening their lead in the consumer and commercial AR/VR space.According to TrendForce, global AR/VR device shipment is estimated to reach 12.02M units, up 26.4% YoY in 2022. Moreover, the market is estimated to grow rapidly through 2025, reaching 25.76M units at a CAGR of 38.8%. Notably, it expects Meta's Oculus devices to maintain a 66% consumer market share. But, TrendForce also noted that (edited):

AR/VR device suppliers may look to expand their user base and increase their market penetration via low-priced yet high-spec devices, while compensating for their reduced hardware profitability through software sales. (TrendForce)

Software sales indeed. Apple runs the largest mobile ecosystem globally, which dwarfs Google Play's (GOOG) (GOOGL) revenue. Therefore, we believe the entry of Apple into the metaverse game could significantly raise the company's monetization opportunities. Theories that Meta Platform has ambitions to displace Apple as the next-gen computing platform abound. However, we have also discussed thatMeta Platforms' eventual metaverse will unlikely be the only virtual world we will ever experience. Instead, the metaverse will likely be a series of interconnected virtual worlds that will be interoperable. So, Apple could still be the critical ecosystem owner as creators build their virtual worlds to be monetized through the App Store, reaching out to Apple's more than 1B (and growing) installed base.

TrendForce also added that global VR content revenue is estimated to grow at a rapid 40% CAGR through 2025, reaching $8.3B. The content will be varied but primarily consisting of "gaming/entertainment, videos, and social interactions." Therefore, Apple can continue to leverage such opportunities through its massive ecosystem. We think these opportunities are so novel that it hasn't even been written into Apple's consensus estimates just yet. But, once Apple's AR/VR devices are launched, we believe that the revenue runway could become even more apparent. However, we must still caution that we are still very early into Apple's metaverse ambitions. But, we believe that Apple will be a critical player in defining the metaverse through its ecosystem. It won't be very smart to consider that Apple doesn't have a clearly-defined metaverse strategy.

So, is AAPL Stock a Buy Now?

AAPL stock EV/NTM EBIT, and Normalized P/E (NTM) 3Y mean.

If you consider AAPL stock's relative valuation against its 3Y mean, there's little doubt that AAPL stock seems expensive. It's trading at an EV/NTM EBIT of 26x, way above its 3Y mean of 19.3x. In addition, its normalized P/E (NTM) also read 31.2x, significantly ahead of its 3Y mean of 23.9x. Therefore, we wouldn't blame bearish investors who think that AAPL stock seems well overvalued now.

Apple unlevered FCF estimates. Data source: S&P Capital IQ, author

However, we also estimated that AAPL stock would continue to generate robust FCF growth over time. Moreover, our model is even more conservative than the consensus estimates. In addition, we have also not considered Sensor Tower's estimates or Apple's metaverse opportunities that we discussed earlier. Nevertheless, it led us towards a DCF implied fair value estimate of $153, which we highlighted in our previous article. It's also quite close to our SOTP implied fair value of $159 that we showed earlier. Therefore, it's clear that these estimates have not factored for the robust services growth and the potential metaverse opportunities that could accrue to Apple over the next five to ten years.

AAPL stock price action.

Nevertheless, we think that AAPL stock looks extended, as seen above. But, as mentioned, it wouldn't be very smart for investors to bet against CEO Tim Cook & Co. The stock's long-term uptrend is clear for all to observe.

So, we are clear that the stock would likely break the $200 level in 2022 as the excitement surrounding its AR/VR launch gets closers, coupled with its services segment revenue growth in its earnings releases. (AAPL) has recently drawn significant interest among investors as the stock has continued to outperform the market since early December. It's notable since AAPL stock has lagged the market for almost the whole year. However, investors' interests spiked following the series of successful new product launches, including its pivotal iPhone 13.Supply chain checks from numerous sell-side analysts have also demonstrated that the delays over its iPhones have improved markedly. In addition, Goldman Sachs also highlighted that lead times were down significantly in mid-December as Apple continues to leverage strong iPhone demand in its most crucial calendar quarter.AAPL stock continues to hold its price steadily, briefly topped a $3T market cap milestone. However, there shouldn't be any doubt that AAPL stock has had an unmistakable long-term uptrend over the years. Moreover, given that the company has multiple long-term secular drivers driving its business model, we are confident that the stock can reach $200 in 2022.We discuss these critical drivers for AAPL stock as we head into 2022 with the $3T market cap looking over the horizon.Services Revenue Growth Could Have Been Significantly UnderstatedApple revenue and adjusted EBITDA mean consensus estimates. Data source: S&P Capital IQApple bears have often pointed out the deceleration in the company's topline growth as proof of a stock that is massively overvalued. So let us present our analysis.Apple iPhone and services revenue estimates. Data source: Trefis, authorReaders can refer to the above model, where iPhone's revenue is estimated to increase at a CAGR of just 2.2% over the next five years. Why?Based on recent estimates by Sensor Tower, App Store's revenue is estimated to increase at a CAGR of 20.7% through CY25, reaching $185B. Sensor Tower presented a region by region breakdown, which we thought seemed credible, and we encourage investors to monitor closely.Don't Ignore Apple's Metaverse AmbitionsRenowned TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimated that Apple's AR/VR device would be released sometime in Q4'22. But, TrendForce also noted that (edited):AR/VR device suppliers may look to expand their user base and increase their market penetration via low-priced yet high-spec devices, while compensating for their reduced hardware profitability through software sales. (TrendForce)Software sales indeed. So, Apple could still be the critical ecosystem owner as creators build their virtual worlds to be monetized through the App Store, reaching out to Apple's more than 1B (and growing) installed base.TrendForce also added that global VR content revenue is estimated to grow at a rapid 40% CAGR through 2025, reaching $8.3B. The content will be varied but primarily consisting of \"gaming/entertainment, videos, and social interactions.\" Therefore, Apple can continue to leverage such opportunities through its massive ecosystem. So, is AAPL Stock a Buy Now?AAPL stock EV/NTM EBIT, and Normalized P/E (NTM) 3Y mean.If you consider AAPL stock's relative valuation against its 3Y mean, there's little doubt that AAPL stock seems expensive. It's trading at an EV/NTM EBIT of 26x, way above its 3Y mean of 19.3x. In addition, its normalized P/E (NTM) also read 31.2x, significantly ahead of its 3Y mean of 23.9x. Therefore, we wouldn't blame bearish investors who think that AAPL stock seems well overvalued now.Apple unlevered FCF estimates. Data source: S&P Capital IQ, authorHowever, we also estimated that AAPL stock would continue to generate robust FCF growth over time. Therefore, it's clear that these estimates have not factored for the robust services growth and the potential metaverse opportunities that could accrue to Apple over the next five to ten years.AAPL stock price action.Nevertheless, we think that AAPL stock looks extended, as seen above. As a result, we believe that AAPL's stock price could be re-rated to reflect its potential over the next year.Nevertheless, due to its over-extended price action, we encourage some patience with AAPL stock. But, if you have no AAPL stock, we think you can consider adding at this price if you are a long-term investor. We don't believe it's significantly overvalued, as discussed earlier. But, if you already have considerable exposure relative to your portfolio, we think you can wait for a potentially better entry point with some patience. Therefore, we reiterate our Neutral rating on AAPL stock for now. This article was written by JR Research.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":424,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169734150,"gmtCreate":1623850689770,"gmtModify":1703821354440,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Cries","listText":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Cries","text":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Cries","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/5e58ee92f43cb228b0c25969a3b54e1c","width":"750","height":"1300"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/169734150","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":125,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3575432886422504","authorId":"3575432886422504","name":"believe98","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"idStr":"3575432886422504","authorIdStr":"3575432886422504"},"content":"Hang in there! Meacham said it is important but ASCO may not provide the pop to stocks it did in other years.\n“ASCO was by far and away the biggest medical conference of the year, and people looked forward to that. And you would have company presentations in front of 30,000 oncologists,” he said. “There would be hundreds of Wall Streeters. You could get a very good handle on what was the buzz of the meeting. SInce it’s virtual, it doesn’t have as much of its charm.”\nBut Meacham said ASCO could still be positive. “You have data that’s brand new and that could lead to approvals and some very good products,” he said.\nMeacham said he’s still positive on biotech despite its lackluster performance. He especially likes mid-cap biotech.\n“We’ve been pretty positive on the group. Recognizing that drug pricing has been a little bit of a cloud over the past couple of years, and 2021 is no different,” said Meacham. “But when you look at the pipeline, the midcap biotech pipeline looks fantastic.”\nThe pipeline in big pharma is got but not as robust. “For the most part, it’s singles and doubles. But not surprisingly, midcap biotech has some home run potential but with more risk. That’s what drives the industry - the innovation and new therapies - and that’s why we’re still positive.”\n\nThe IBB iShares NASDAQ Biotech ETF gained 0.4% last week, but it is up just 0.3% year-to-date. The widely followed IBB was down 1.7% for the month of May.\nMeacham identified three companies that could get a positive reception at the ASCO meeting. Bank of America has a buy rating on all of them. One of those is big pharma Bristol-Myers Squibb.\n“Bristol is probably one of the winners,” he said. The company’s anti-LAG-3 antibody relatlimab melanoma treatment has been in development and there will be data from a large phase 3 trial. He said the product was used with its Opdivo, and could have a better safety profile than the current treatment of Opdivo combined with Yervoy. He does expect Opdivo and Yervoy to maintain the lead share of the market going forward.\nBig cap biotech Amgen is presenting on its lung cancer drug Lumakras, which received Food and Drug Administration approval Friday. Almost all stocks got crushed in January, and now February is a mixed bag of returns. Some high-growth stocks that have previously been hammered are starting to recover, but many are continuing their downtrend. This volatility is magnified during earnings season -- where companies can rise or fall 20% on an earnings report.

Long-term investors in this volatile period have the edge, however. They are not bound to the next month or even year, and they can focus on using this volatility to buy stocks at cheap prices that have not been seen in a long time. For investors looking to capitalize on market volatility and buy high-quality businesses at a cheap price, you might want to consider adding Pinterest , PubMatic , and MercadoLibre to your portfolio. Here's why.

Pinterest

Shares of Pinterest are still down 70% off their all-time high and trade at just 28 times forward earnings -- even cheaper than other social media stocks like Match Group (NASDAQ:MTCH) -- but the business is executing well. It reported fourth-quarter earnings, and the company's growth in its average revenue per user (ARPU) took the spotlight. The company saw 23% year-over-year growth across the world, driven by 62% growth in its international markets.

Pinterest has over 426 million users on its platform, and considering that social media giants like Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:FB) have topped out at 2.9 billion users, the real opportunity comes from its ARPU growth. Yes, if Pinterest reached 2.9 billion users, that would represent a growth of 580% from here, but if the company can successfully expand its ARPU, this growth could be so much more. The company's international ARPU was just $0.57 in Q4, compared to Meta's $27.91. So the room to grow, even if the company won't reach Meta's levels of monetization, is immense.

While the company's user count should be monitored, it should not be the greatest concern. Pinterest has only been losing a small fraction of its users over the past year, and this quarter it lost just 6% year over year. Not ideal, but as long as its user count doesn't get cut in half over the next two years, the ability to capitalize on monetization success will still be prevalent. With shares now reaching "value stock" prices, picking up shares should at least be on long-term investors' radar.

PubMatic

When investors think of advertising technology, The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD) likely springs to mind. However, investors should not count out the other side of adtech -- the supply side. After all, ad space suppliers also need help finding the best value for their ad space, and PubMatic helps them do that. Pubmatic is one of the fastest-growing sell-side platforms in terms of organic growth, but if you look at the share price -- which is down 62% from its all-time high -- you might not have assumed that.

PubMatic grew its revenue by 54% year over year to $58 million in third-quarter 2021, which marked the fourth consecutive quarter of 50% or more revenue growth. This is expected to continue when it reports full-year results on Feb. 28 -- and likely for the next several years as well. The digital advertising space is expected to be worth $526 billion by 2024, meaning PubMatic has a runway to expand multiples from here.

PubMatic is only worth $1.4 billion, yet it is profitable and has net income margins of 19%. This financial maturity for such a small business could mean positive things about its financial picture in a decade. It trades for 31 times earnings -- a cheap multiple compared to its major competitor Magnite (NASDAQ:MGNI) -- making this stock a huge bargain right now.

MercadoLibre

MercadoLibre has become a dominant player in Latin American e-commerce, payments, and logistics, but with an all-time low valuation of eight times sales, you might have assumed something fundamentally changed with the business. MercadoLibre has only traded at eight times sales two other times in the past decade, so this valuation is quite literally a rock-bottom price.

However, the business is stronger than ever. Third-quarter revenue popped 73% year over year, hitting almost $2 billion -- $125 million of which fell to the bottom line in net income. Almost all stocks got crushed in January, and now February is a mixed bag of returns. Some high-growth stocks that have previously been hammered are starting to recover, but many are continuing their downtrend. This volatility is magnified during earnings season -- where companies can rise or fall 20% on an earnings report.Long-term investors in this volatile period have the edge, however. Here's why.Pinterest Shares of Pinterest are still down 70% off their all-time high and trade at just 28 times forward earnings -- even cheaper than other social media stocks like Match Group (NASDAQ:MTCH) -- but the business is executing well. It reported fourth-quarter earnings, and the company's growth in its average revenue per user (ARPU) took the spotlight. The company saw 23% year-over-year growth across the world, driven by 62% growth in its international markets.Pinterest has over 426 million users on its platform, and considering that social media giants like Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:FB) have topped out at 2.9 billion users, the real opportunity comes from its ARPU growth. With shares now reaching \"value stock\" prices, picking up shares should at least be on long-term investors' radar.PubMatic When investors think of advertising technology, The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD) likely springs to mind. However, investors should not count out the other side of adtech -- the supply side. After all, ad space suppliers also need help finding the best value for their ad space, and PubMatic helps them do that. Pubmatic is one of the fastest-growing sell-side platforms in terms of organic growth, but if you look at the share price -- which is down 62% from its all-time high -- you might not have assumed that.PubMatic grew its revenue by 54% year over year to $58 million in third-quarter 2021, which marked the fourth consecutive quarter of 50% or more revenue growth. This is expected to continue when it reports full-year results on Feb. 28 -- and likely for the next several years as well. The digital advertising space is expected to be worth $526 billion by 2024, meaning PubMatic has a runway to expand multiples from here.PubMatic is only worth $1.4 billion, yet it is profitable and has net income margins of 19%. This financial maturity for such a small business could mean positive things about its financial picture in a decade. It trades for 31 times earnings -- a cheap multiple compared to its major competitor Magnite (NASDAQ:MGNI) -- making this stock a huge bargain right now.MercadoLibreMercadoLibre has become a dominant player in Latin American e-commerce, payments, and logistics, but with an all-time low valuation of eight times sales, you might have assumed something fundamentally changed with the business. The company has 79 million users, and while that would be a lot in the U.S., it is just a fraction of the Latin American population. There are over 635 million citizens in Latin America, meaning that MercadoLibre has plenty of room to continue adding users. As the leading platform in the space, it might be a mistake to not take advantage of this discounted company today.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":164,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000878255,"gmtCreate":1640133089600,"gmtModify":1676533502413,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Hi","listText":"Hi","text":"Hi","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000878255","repostId":"2193409169","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2193409169","pubTimestamp":1640130748,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2193409169?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-12-22 07:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Musk Tweet Fund Adminstrator Isn’t Filing Statements, Judge Says","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2193409169","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"A judge is questioning the status of a $40 million fund that was established from fines paid by Elon","content":"
A judge is questioning the status of a $40 million fund that was established from fines paid by Elon Musk and Tesla Inc. over controversial tweets.
\n

\n
The firm appointed in May to administer distributions from the fund, set up by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for harmed investors, hasn’t filed required accounting statements, U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan said in an order Tuesday. On Wednesday, CEO Adam Aron announced on Twitter a new rewards program for AMC‘s millions of stockholders, AMC Investor Connect.
\n
The program is free for stockholders, and links up with the AMC Stubs Insider rewards program. Aron said on Twitter that the effort is meant to communicate often with shareholders. It will offer special rewards, starting with a free large popcorn. It isn’t exactly a new phenomenon—companies owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (ticker: BRK.A) have offered perks for shareholders in the past—but this effort follows a surge in social media sentiment in support of AMC.
\n
AMC stock (AMC) surged another 19% to $40.29 Wednesday morning—which would be its first record close since March 23, 2015, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The stock is up 233% in the past seven trading days, leading a broader resurgence in such highly-shorted social media darlings.
\n
Supply and demand factors like short interest and options trading activity have colored the moves in meme stocks like AMC and GameStop(GME) this year. Though the moves may not be based on company fundamentals, AMC has cashed in on its rise by selling millions of shares. That has provided some hope that the chain can last long enough to benefit from a wave of consolidation in movie theaters.
\n
During last month’s earnings call, Aron embraced the company’s social media fans. He announced he would match a $50,000 donation from AMC to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund—a charity popular on the WallStreetBets Reddit forum. The Reddit posters call themselves “apes,” posting memes and GIFs—like a scene in Rise of the Planet of the Apes where Andy Serkis’s character signs the phrase “Apes together: Strong,” a reference to the newly found collective power of retail investors in the stock market.
\n
Aron’s direct appeals to Reddit users is notable. In contrast, Ryan Cohen, the large GameStop investor and soon-to-be chairman of the company’s board, has mostly stuck to cryptic Twitter posts that are open to interpretation. That, however, hasn’t stopped some GameStop fans from predicting major news events based on frog emojis and GIFs from adult cartoons.
\n
On the AMCStock Reddit thread discussing the news, some commenters didn’t want to take money away from AMC by taking free popcorn. User Rickblood23 offered a solution: “Get the free popcorn and with that money buy chicken tendies,” they wrote. “Support the company and send a message.”
\n

","source":"lsy1601382232898","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
AMC Entertainment Loves Being a Meme Stock. On Wednesday, CEO Adam Aron announced on Twitter a new rewards program for AMC‘s millions of stockholders, AMC Investor Connect.\nThe program is free for stockholders, and links up with the AMC Stubs Insider rewards program. Aron said on Twitter that the effort is meant to communicate often with shareholders. It will offer special rewards, starting with a free large popcorn. It isn’t exactly a new phenomenon—companies owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (ticker: BRK.A) have offered perks for shareholders in the past—but this effort follows a surge in social media sentiment in support of AMC.\nAMC stock (AMC) surged another 19% to $40.29 Wednesday morning—which would be its first record close since March 23, 2015, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The stock is up 233% in the past seven trading days, leading a broader resurgence in such highly-shorted social media darlings.\nSupply and demand factors like short interest and options trading activity have colored the moves in meme stocks like AMC and GameStop(GME) this year. Though the moves may not be based on company fundamentals, AMC has cashed in on its rise by selling millions of shares. That has provided some hope that the chain can last long enough to benefit from a wave of consolidation in movie theaters.\nDuring last month’s earnings call, Aron embraced the company’s social media fans. He announced he would match a $50,000 donation from AMC to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund—a charity popular on the WallStreetBets Reddit forum. The Reddit posters call themselves “apes,” posting memes and GIFs—like a scene in Rise of the Planet of the Apes where Andy Serkis’s character signs the phrase “Apes together: Strong,” a reference to the newly found collective power of retail investors in the stock market.\nAron’s direct appeals to Reddit users is notable. In contrast, Ryan Cohen, the large GameStop investor and soon-to-be chairman of the company’s board, has mostly stuck to cryptic Twitter posts that are open to interpretation. That, however, hasn’t stopped some GameStop fans from predicting major news events based on frog emojis and GIFs from adult cartoons.\nOn the AMCStock Reddit thread discussing the news, some commenters didn’t want to take money away from AMC by taking free popcorn. User Rickblood23 offered a solution: “Get the free popcorn and with that money buy chicken tendies,” they wrote. “Support the company and send a message.”","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":70,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":111862763,"gmtCreate":1622675812352,"gmtModify":1704188535682,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/111862763","repostId":"1110280969","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1110280969","pubTimestamp":1622647352,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1110280969?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-02 23:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla files trademark, hinting at Elon Musk’s restaurant concept plans","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1110280969","media":"TechCrunch","summary":"Image Credits: Tesla\nTesla has recently filed a new trademark for its brand under restaurant service","content":"
\n
Tesla has recently filed a new trademark for its brand under restaurant services, a sign the company might be finally gearing up to deliver on an idea that CEO Elon Musk and other company executives have discussed publicly since at least 2017.
\n
The company applied for three new trademarks that will cover the categories of: “Restaurant services, pop-up restaurant services, self-service restaurant services, take-out restaurant services, according to the May 27 filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office that was first reported by Electrek. In the fiscal first quarter of 2021 (the three months ended May 2, 2021) revenue increased 84% year over year to $5.66 billion, and adjusted earnings per share were up 106%. Ahead of the quarterly update, the semiconductor designer announced a 4-for-1 stock split. While stock splits don't have a material impact on a business's valuation, investors struck an upbeat tone on the news. Shares are now up 175.8% since the start of 2020.
\n
Stock split aside, there's reason to believe NVIDIA's run isn't over. Chip demand is sky-high right now, and the company is a leader on multiple high-growth technology fronts. Let's look at three reasons why this stock could continue its upward movement in 2021.
\n
\n
1. New gaming GPU upgrades are just getting started
\n
NVIDIA got its start with high-end video game graphics, and the industry remains the company's largest market. Gaming sales were $2.76 billion in Q1, up a whopping 106% year over year. The surge is driven by the RTX 30 series GPUs released late last year. These advanced chips come standard with ray tracing and AI-enhanced graphics capabilities to help players get the most out of their gaming experience.
\n
With such a boom in video game sales, it might seem like this leading segment at NVIDIA would be headed for a slowdown. That time hasn't arrived yet. The hardware upgrade cycle is really just getting started. NVIDIA just recently announced the first batch of laptops with RTX GPUs are coming out this summer, which makes its new chips available to tens of millions more gamers worldwide. And to better address video game market demand, NVIDIA has built restrictions in the RTX 30 series to prevent these graphics processors from going to cryptocurrency mining outfits (the new CMP chips custom designed for the crypto market are out and are expected to haul in $400 million in sales next quarter).
\n
NVIDIA said it expects revenue to be about $6.3 billion in the second quarter, up 63% from a year ago at the midpoint. While cryptocurrency chips are contributing to this torrid pace of growth, the gaming and data center markets represent the lion's share of expansion.
\n
New laptops featuring NVIDIA RTX 30 chips are coming soon. Image source: NVIDIA.
\n
2. Complex data centers need new tech hardware
\n
Speaking of data centers, this has quickly emerged as NVIDIA's second-largest vertical. Sales were $2.05 billion in Q1, up a more-than-respectable 79% year over year.
\n
Data centers operate behind the scenes but are critically important computing units in today's world. They operate the internet, mobile networks, the myriad of software services built and residing in them, and coordinate real-world activity like managing postal services and healthcare information. And in an increasingly sophisticated digital world, better hardware that is able to coordinate all this new data is needed. Lots of companies are adding GPUs to their data center designs as computing accelerators, or outright replacing older CPUs (central processing units) with faster and more energy-efficient GPUs. This is a space traditionally dominated by Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), but NVIDIA is gunning for the chip giant's haymaker. Last year, it unveiled a new data processing unit (DPU) and early in 2021 announced a CPU called Grace designed to pair with its GPUs and built from the ground up for modern data center applications like AI.
\n
Just like its gaming business, data centers are in the early stages of getting upgraded. CFO Colette Kress said on the earnings call that \"every industry is becoming a technology industry.\" There's no shortage of growth opportunity for NVIDIA, especially in cloud-based services and AI as companies unlock new capabilities and get more efficient in their operations using new chip tech.
\n
3. NVIDIA is not just a hardware company anymore
\n
NVIDIA of course makes money from the sale of its semiconductors. Licensing revenue from selling chip designs will get a big boost from the pending ARM Holdings acquisition (which Kress said is still on track to be completed by early 2022), but there's a lot more to NVIDIA's business model these days.
\n
Cloud-based recurring software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue is a promising front for this chip company. Its auto industry platform is a prime example. Auto revenue was flat year over year in Q1 at $154 million as NVIDIA continues to exit commoditized vehicle infotainment hardware. But its Drive autonomous vehicle platform spans not just hardware but also software services, helping automakers and autonomous vehicle researchers advance self-driving and safety capabilities.
\n
Another example is Omniverse, a new collaborative software platform for designers and creators of all sorts. Shares are now up 175.8% since the start of 2020.\nStock split aside, there's reason to believe NVIDIA's run isn't over. Chip demand is sky-high right now, and the company is a leader on multiple high-growth technology fronts. Let's look at three reasons why this stock could continue its upward movement in 2021.\nImage source: Getty Images.\n1. New gaming GPU upgrades are just getting started\nNVIDIA got its start with high-end video game graphics, and the industry remains the company's largest market. Gaming sales were $2.76 billion in Q1, up a whopping 106% year over year. The surge is driven by the RTX 30 series GPUs released late last year. These advanced chips come standard with ray tracing and AI-enhanced graphics capabilities to help players get the most out of their gaming experience.\nWith such a boom in video game sales, it might seem like this leading segment at NVIDIA would be headed for a slowdown. That time hasn't arrived yet. The hardware upgrade cycle is really just getting started. NVIDIA just recently announced the first batch of laptops with RTX GPUs are coming out this summer, which makes its new chips available to tens of millions more gamers worldwide. And to better address video game market demand, NVIDIA has built restrictions in the RTX 30 series to prevent these graphics processors from going to cryptocurrency mining outfits (the new CMP chips custom designed for the crypto market are out and are expected to haul in $400 million in sales next quarter).\nNVIDIA said it expects revenue to be about $6.3 billion in the second quarter, up 63% from a year ago at the midpoint. While cryptocurrency chips are contributing to this torrid pace of growth, the gaming and data center markets represent the lion's share of expansion.\nNew laptops featuring NVIDIA RTX 30 chips are coming soon. Image source: NVIDIA.\n2. Complex data centers need new tech hardware\nSpeaking of data centers, this has quickly emerged as NVIDIA's second-largest vertical. Sales were $2.05 billion in Q1, up a more-than-respectable 79% year over year.\nData centers operate behind the scenes but are critically important computing units in today's world. Last year, it unveiled a new data processing unit (DPU) and early in 2021 announced a CPU called Grace designed to pair with its GPUs and built from the ground up for modern data center applications like AI.\nJust like its gaming business, data centers are in the early stages of getting upgraded. CFO Colette Kress said on the earnings call that \"every industry is becoming a technology industry.\" There's no shortage of growth opportunity for NVIDIA, especially in cloud-based services and AI as companies unlock new capabilities and get more efficient in their operations using new chip tech.\n3. NVIDIA is not just a hardware company anymore\nNVIDIA of course makes money from the sale of its semiconductors. Licensing revenue from selling chip designs will get a big boost from the pending ARM Holdings acquisition (which Kress said is still on track to be completed by early 2022), but there's a lot more to NVIDIA's business model these days.\nCloud-based recurring software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue is a promising front for this chip company. Its auto industry platform is a prime example. Auto revenue was flat year over year in Q1 at $154 million as NVIDIA continues to exit commoditized vehicle infotainment hardware. But its Drive autonomous vehicle platform spans not just hardware but also software services, helping automakers and autonomous vehicle researchers advance self-driving and safety capabilities.\nAnother example is Omniverse, a new collaborative software platform for designers and creators of all sorts. Omniverse has been in open beta but will have a commercial launch this summer for both individual users and enterprises. Kress said there have been over 17,000 downloads of the open beta so far, indicating robust demand for this SaaS-based business line in short order.\nSoftware sales will be a longer-term development for NVIDIA, but it nevertheless represents an exciting new outlet for this tech giant that pairs well with its leadership in GPUs. Innovation is firing on all cylinders at NVIDIA right now, and shares could continue their upward momentum through the back half of 2021 as growth continues at a rapid pace.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":88,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":381046972,"gmtCreate":1612916954196,"gmtModify":1704875951521,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Arkk ftw","listText":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Arkk ftw","text":"$ARK Innovation ETF(ARKK)$Arkk ftw","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7bf69f385a17e8e1c76f7e55d0625108","width":"750","height":"1300"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/381046972","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":214,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9011584168,"gmtCreate":1648883110766,"gmtModify":1676534417977,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Tencent Holding Ltd.(TCEHY)$Sad ","listText":"$Tencent Holding Ltd.(TCEHY)$Sad ","text":"$Tencent Holding Ltd.(TCEHY)$Sad","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/29361666351679b3581dfb1e8d7cd629","width":"1170","height":"2292"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9011584168","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":23,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9033185032,"gmtCreate":1646218559955,"gmtModify":1676534104872,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Interesting news","listText":"Interesting news","text":"Interesting news","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9033185032","repostId":"1114850696","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1114850696","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1646214832,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1114850696?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-03-02 17:53","market":"us","language":"en","title":"AMC Shares Rose 3% in Premarket Trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1114850696","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc beat estimates for fourth-quarter revenue on Tuesday as box-office hi","content":"

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc beat estimates for fourth-quarter revenue on Tuesday as box-office hits such as "Spider-Man: No Way Home" brought people back to the movies.

AMC shares rose 3% in premarket trading.

Long-awaited releases including the James Bond film "No Time To Die" and Marvel's "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" also helped the theater chain recover from pandemic restrictions that had brought movie-going to a standstill.

Pressures from inflation, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions as well as the crisis in Europe after Russia invaded Ukraine could pose challenges for the company, Chief Executive Officer Adam Aron said on a post-earnings call.

Earlier this year, worries over the Omicron variant pushed producers to postpone movie releases.

"The box office pacing and our results in 2022 are expected to be heavily weighted towards the second half of the year," Aron said.

AMC, which saw a footfall of nearly 60 million during the quarter, said bookings are very strong for "The Batman" film opening this weekend. But Activision ($1.16 billion) and Blizzard ($419 million) each disappointed.Given the Microsoft deal, Activision Blizzard isn't issuing guidance or any earnings presentation, or holding any call.In-game net bookings declined as well, to $1.24 billion from $1.32 billion.Users declined, however, to 371 million from last quarter's 390 million (Activision down to 107 million from 119 million; Blizzard down to 24 million from 26 million; and King down to 240 million from 245 million).“As we look to the future, with Microsoft’s scale and resources, we will be better equipped to grow existing franchises, launch new potential franchises and unlock the rich library of games we have assembled over 40 years,\" said CEO Bobby Kotick. In other tidbits, the company noted that Call of Duty net bookings on console and PC declined year-over-year, \"reflecting lower premium sales for Call of Duty: Vanguard versus the year-ago title and lower engagement in Call of Duty: Warzone.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":214,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":164220740,"gmtCreate":1624209703280,"gmtModify":1703830695373,"author":{"id":"3575371864187313","authorId":"3575371864187313","name":"AllOrNuttin","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0b739c777774870ea98e0712896b3645","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575371864187313","authorIdStr":"3575371864187313"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Amazing","listText":"Amazing","text":"Amazing","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/164220740","repostId":"1192473918","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1192473918","pubTimestamp":1624029343,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1192473918?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-18 23:15","market":"us","language":"en","title":"PLTR Stock: The Palantir-FAA Deal News Should Have Investors Smiling Today","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1192473918","media":"investorplace","summary":"Palantir Technologies(NYSE:PLTR) stock is on the move Friday following news of a deal with the Feder","content":"
Palantir Technologies(NYSE:PLTR) stock is on the move Friday following news of a deal with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
\n
The goal of this deal is toassist the FAA in modernizing its ” objectives for aviation safety.”This will have Palantir Technologies providing the agency with a data analyzing tool to help with that effort.
\n
According to a news release, this will have Palantir Technologies monitoring various safety aspects for the FAA.
