Apple can partner with OpenAI (and eventually with Baidu in China), while leveraging public clouds to help train models and run their services businesses.\"Reitzes said Apple could ostensibly \"pawn off\" the excess capital expenditures and operating expenditures on other tech giants, which may embark on a capital spending craze that could last a few more years.\"As a result, Apple can deliver free cash flow structurally above net income right now as revenues accelerate for the next few years - while many others can't,\" he added.Currently, Apple's free cash flow is expected to run higher than its net income, unlike at other tech giants. Reitzes pointed out that in fiscal 2024, Apple generated $109 billion in free cash flow, above its net income of $104 billion, converting free cash flow at a rate of nearly 5% to reported net income. Apple was able to buy back $26.5 billion in stock in the December quarter and is on track to buy back $30 billion per quarter \"for the foreseeable future.\"That free cash flow ratio looks sustainable through fiscal 2027, he said, adding that revenue should also reaccelerate with higher-priced iPhones. For the cloud companies, ratios of free cash flow versus net income look more troubling, especially if their revenues do not meet estimates going forward. In fiscal 2025, free cash flow projections for Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Meta are 29%, 33%, 24% and 34% below their estimated net income, respectively, Reitzes noted.\"If cloud revenue doesn't beat estimates this year - and the market remains confused about DeepSeek-like innovations - investorpatience may wear thin and help Apple on a relative basis in the Mag 7,\" Reitzes said. All the Magnificent Seven stocks - which also include Nvidia $(NVDA)$ and Tesla $(TSLA)$ - were trading slightly higher on Monday, along with the broader market, even after Goldman Sachs strategists pointed out in a report that for the first time in two years, none of those tech giants had positive sales surprises in their quarterly results. The strategists advised shifting investments into companies with potential to monetize AI, such as software and services companies.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"NVDX":0.6,"MSFT":0.9,"MACW.SI":0.6,"NVDY":0.6,"USAW.SI":0.6,"NVD":0.6,"NVDS.UK":0.6,"NVIW.SI":0.6,"NVD2.UK":0.6,"2NVD.UK":0.6,"META":0.9,"AMZN":0.9,"NVD3.UK":0.6,"3NVD.UK":0.6,"TSYW.SI":0.6,"NVDU":0.6,"SNVD.UK":0.6,"GOOG":0.9,"NVDA":1,"GOOGL":0.9,"AAPL":1,"NPV":1,"USJW.SI":0.6,"TSLA":1,"NVDD":0.6,"NVDS":0.6}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1552,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":344442094723384,"gmtCreate":1725085084588,"gmtModify":1725085088465,"author":{"id":"3576269770454358","authorId":"3576269770454358","name":"Fattwong56","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/fbd323d16c92e97cfde30bf618a9c01f","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576269770454358","authorIdStr":"3576269770454358"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$MMM Vertical 240920 126.0C/128.0C$ ","listText":"$MMM Vertical 240920 126.0C/128.0C$ ","text":"$MMM Vertical 240920 126.0C/128.0C$","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/344442094723384","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1937,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":242420477599928,"gmtCreate":1700221710609,"gmtModify":1700227063779,"author":{"id":"3576269770454358","authorId":"3576269770454358","name":"Fattwong56","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/fbd323d16c92e97cfde30bf618a9c01f","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576269770454358","authorIdStr":"3576269770454358"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Share your opinion about this news…","listText":"Share your opinion about this news…","text":"Share your opinion about this news…","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/242420477599928","repostId":"2384877131","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2384877131","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1700219764,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2384877131?lang=en_US&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-11-17 19:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Long-Term Growth Stocks Analysts Are Bullish On","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2384877131","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Here are three long-term growth stocks for your consideration if you’re looking to take a long position in a new name or two.","content":"
\n
Patient investors can profit from these long-term growth stocks. Source: ShutterstockMany investors are experiencing the impact of high inflation and high interest rates for the first time. It’s a time when following the daily market news can drive you crazy. First, good news is bad news, then good news is good news. That’s not just true of the meme stocks; it’s true of many long-term growth stocks.Being a buy-and-hold investor is easy with some dividend stocks, but it’s not always the case with growth stocks. You need money in long-term growth stocks if you have a long-term outlook. But which ones? Some time-honored advice is that when in doubt, take a wider view. Sometimes, that means looking at the chart; sometimes, taking a wider perspective is remembering why you bought the stock. Or, if you don’t own the stock, why are you considering it? Has anything changed that makes you doubt the case for its long-term growth? The end of the year is a good time to take a critical look at your portfolio. If you want to take a long position in a new name or two, here are three long-term growth stocks for your consideration. Nvidia (NVDA) Source: Evolf / Shutterstock.comIf artificial intelligence (AI) is the story of the year, then Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) is the signature stock of that story. Everybody knew Nvidia was one of the leading names in the chip sector. However, knowing how valuable that leadership would be regarding AI applications was nearly impossible. NVDA stock is up over 239% in 2023, fueled mainly by its unquestioned leadership in delivering the essential chips for generative AI applications. But even that fantastic performance has come with some sharp pullbacks. However, in terms of long-term growth stocks, it doesn’t look much better than NVDA. Forty-four analysts have issued a one-year price forecast for Nvidia, and every single one has a price target higher than the $495.56 closing price on November 14, 2023. That’s rare.Analysts and many investors are convinced Nvidia can continue generating revenue and earnings to justify its premium valuation (currently 51x forward earnings). However, even with that growth, the company may consider increasing its dividend, which only costs about $400 million annually. That compares favorably to the $10.3 billion in trailing twelve-month free cash flow.In the past, the company has prioritized share buybacks. That may continue, but long-term investors may benefit from a juicier dividend down the road.Block (SQ) Source: Sergei Elagin / Shutterstock.comBlock (NYSE:SQ), formerly Square, is next on this list of long-term growth stocks. The case for making Block a long-term buy is its evolution. The company has expanded beyond being a point-of-sale (POS) and e-commerce payment processor. That’s why the company changed its name. Today, Block includes a Bitcoin and blockchain business and the company has recently entered the buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) space. It’s too early to call Block a sum-of-its-parts stock. But there’s clearly a roadmap for customers who become familiar with the company through Cash App to get more immersed in the other areas of its business. At least, that’s the plan. Forty analysts have offered a one-year price target on SQ stock. The consensus price target is $71.68, a 30% increase in the share price. The company recently authorized up to $1 billion in share buybacks to help offset some dilution that long-term investors have experienced.Editas Medicine (EDIT) Source: vxhal/ShutterStock.comGene editing is one of the most compelling growth sectors from now through 2030. Editas Medicine (NASDAQ:EDIT) is in a race to commercialize a first-of-its-kind treatment for sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia. EDIT-301 is in late-stage clinical trials. In October 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Editas a Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation to EDIT-301 for treating sickle cell disease. This will give the company the benefits of FDA Fast Track and Breakthrough Therapy designation programs, such as intensive FDA guidance, possible rolling review and priority review of the Biologics License Application (BLA).The company competes with CRSPR Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CRSP) for approval. However, analysts seem to be encouraged. The consensus price target for EDIT stock shows the potential for a 66.7% gain.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"SQ":1,"EDIT":1,"NVDA":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1893,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9966292642,"gmtCreate":1669541655887,"gmtModify":1676538206124,"author":{"id":"3576269770454358","authorId":"3576269770454358","name":"Fattwong56","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/fbd323d16c92e97cfde30bf618a9c01f","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576269770454358","authorIdStr":"3576269770454358"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Share your opinion about this news…","listText":"Share your opinion about this news…","text":"Share your opinion about this news…","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9966292642","repostId":"1106073881","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2380,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9010853566,"gmtCreate":1648344205107,"gmtModify":1676534328910,"author":{"id":"3576269770454358","authorId":"3576269770454358","name":"Fattwong56","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/fbd323d16c92e97cfde30bf618a9c01f","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576269770454358","authorIdStr":"3576269770454358"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"I think this is 2 stock is good buy for long term. That makes Apple Inc. stand out even more for how much it's not spending.

Investors once worried that Apple $(AAPL)$ was behind the pack in AI because it wasn't spending as much as its rivals. But now Apple's strategy might have more shine, at least according to one analyst.

Melius Research's Ben Reitzes said in a note Monday that as the "the four big clouds" - Alphabet Inc. $(GOOG)$ $(GOOGL)$, Amazon.com. Inc. $(AMZN)$, Meta Platforms Inc. $(META)$ and Microsoft Corp. $(MSFT)$ - boost their capital expenditures, those big outlays are going to affect their free cash flow. And that metric could get more scrutiny from Wall Street going forward.

"We were taught that a stock's value is supposed to represent the net present value $(NPV)$ of its future cash flows," Reitzes wrote in a note to clients. "Calculating NPV is a matter of perception that changes daily - including a discount rate that incorporates risk and assumptions for [capital expenditures] and depreciation." This is even harder now in the era of AI, he added.

But Apple, which even acknowledged on its earnings call last week that it takes a "very prudent and deliberate approach" to its capital spending, could very well have the "last laugh," Reitzes said.

"Apple could have the last laugh since it is a true 'toll road' to mobile AI," he wrote. "While haters focus on 'builds' and micro-data points, it's the free cash flow that matters. Apple can partner with OpenAI (and eventually with Baidu in China), while leveraging public clouds to help train models and run their services businesses."

Reitzes said Apple could ostensibly "pawn off" the excess capital expenditures and operating expenditures on other tech giants, which may embark on a capital spending craze that could last a few more years.

"As a result, Apple can deliver free cash flow structurally above net income right now as revenues accelerate for the next few years - while many others can't," he added.

Currently, Apple's free cash flow is expected to run higher than its net income, unlike at other tech giants. Reitzes pointed out that in fiscal 2024, Apple generated $109 billion in free cash flow, above its net income of $104 billion, converting free cash flow at a rate of nearly 5% to reported net income.
