Even if you've only been an investor for a short time, you probably have an \"I shoulda been willing to pay that price after all\" story.</p>\n<p>The fact is, however, that no two prospective trades are quite the same. There's just as much to be said for holding out for a bargain as there is for being willing to pay a premium. They're bargain stocks not just because they're cheap and have been performers of late, but also because they're stocks of companies with a bright future that not enough people are aware of -- yet.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/774ce5db56934b5b7c1f99e8dde5d7b5\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p>\n<p>Image source: Getty Images.</p>\n<h3>1. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/REGN\">Regeneron Pharmaceuticals</a></h3>\n<p>Anyone who knows the<b> Regeneron Pharmaceuticals</b> (NASDAQ:REGN) story well probably knows this year's banner growth isn't expected to continue into next year. Indeed, following this year's projected 43% top-line growth and subsequent 50% improvement in per-share earnings driven by the company's recently approved COVID-19 \"antibody cocktail,\" the analyst community is calling for a revenue and profit pullback in 2022.</p>\n<p>While the focus has largely been on this year's sales swell, what's largely being overlooked is how much progress the company is making on other fronts <i>despite</i> the lingering pandemic. Its eczema drug Dupixent is nearing widened approval for more children between the ages of six and 11, while several phase 3 trials of the same drug for completely different uses were initiated. In fact, Regeneron has about 30 product candidates in the works, including several in phase 3 trials.</p>\n<p>Next year won't be as fruitful as this year; of that there can be no doubt. It's not too soon to start looking at 2023 and beyond though, particularly in light of the fact that shares are only trading at 13 times next year's suppressed earnings projection. You're not going to find too many other biopharma stocks with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals' long-term growth prospects priced this inexpensively very often.</p>\n<h3>2. ViacomCBS</h3>\n<p>You may recall that in March, share prices of <b>ViacomCBS</b> (NASDAQ:VIAC) (NASDAQ:VIAC.A) were completely up-ended, falling nearly 50% in just three days. The bulk of that pullback appears to be the result of an unmet margin call from then-owner Archegos Capital Management; Archegos' broker sold the most opportune holding to bring the fund back into compliance. The company's decision to cash in on its stock's big run-up through March by selling shares via a secondary $3 billion offering, however, fanned those bearish flames.</p>\n<p>The funny thing is, the stock's not yet recovered from this mostly artificial plunge. That's created a big opportunity.</p>\n<p>There's no denying the world of entertainment is changing, with streaming becoming an alternative not just to conventional cable television, but to theatrical films as well. ViacomCBS isn't missing this proverbial boat, however. If anything, it's steering the boat. Its free-to-watch, ad-supported streaming television platform Pluto now boasts 50 million regular viewers worldwide, and the company's subscription-based streaming services now serve 36 million people. Both subscriber bases grew at a double-digit percentage pace last quarter.</p>\n<p>Revenue is revving up accordingly. Even though the company is still learning the business, CEO Bob Bakish recently indicated that subscribers to its lower-cost, ad-supported streaming platform are already generating more net revenue for the company than the average cable customer does. As for Pluto, eMarketer anticipates it will generate more than $1 billion worth of ad revenue in 2022, up from less than $800 million this year and only $440 million last year. Bakish believes the company is on track to produce $7 billion worth of streaming-based revenue by 2024.</p>\n<p>Given how well prepared the company is for what lies ahead, the forward-looking price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 10 is more than a little compelling here.</p>\n<h3>3. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EBAY\">eBay</a></h3>\n<p>Finally, add<b> eBay </b>(NASDAQ:EBAY) to your list of bargain stocks you can buy today. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals\nAnyone who knows the Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:REGN) story well probably knows this year's banner growth isn't expected to continue into next year. Indeed, following this year's projected 43% top-line growth and subsequent 50% improvement in per-share earnings driven by the company's recently approved COVID-19 \"antibody cocktail,\" the analyst community is calling for a revenue and profit pullback in 2022.\nWhile the focus has largely been on this year's sales swell, what's largely being overlooked is how much progress the company is making on other fronts despite the lingering pandemic. Its eczema drug Dupixent is nearing widened approval for more children between the ages of six and 11, while several phase 3 trials of the same drug for completely different uses were initiated. In fact, Regeneron has about 30 product candidates in the works, including several in phase 3 trials.\nNext year won't be as fruitful as this year; of that there can be no doubt. It's not too soon to start looking at 2023 and beyond though, particularly in light of the fact that shares are only trading at 13 times next year's suppressed earnings projection. You're not going to find too many other biopharma stocks with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals' long-term growth prospects priced this inexpensively very often.\n2. ViacomCBS\nYou may recall that in March, share prices of ViacomCBS (NASDAQ:VIAC) (NASDAQ:VIAC.A) were completely up-ended, falling nearly 50% in just three days. The bulk of that pullback appears to be the result of an unmet margin call from then-owner Archegos Capital Management; Archegos' broker sold the most opportune holding to bring the fund back into compliance. The company's decision to cash in on its stock's big run-up through March by selling shares via a secondary $3 billion offering, however, fanned those bearish flames.\nThe funny thing is, the stock's not yet recovered from this mostly artificial plunge. That's created a big opportunity.\nThere's no denying the world of entertainment is changing, with streaming becoming an alternative not just to conventional cable television, but to theatrical films as well. ViacomCBS isn't missing this proverbial boat, however. If anything, it's steering the boat. Its free-to-watch, ad-supported streaming television platform Pluto now boasts 50 million regular viewers worldwide, and the company's subscription-based streaming services now serve 36 million people. Both subscriber bases grew at a double-digit percentage pace last quarter.\nRevenue is revving up accordingly. Even though the company is still learning the business, CEO Bob Bakish recently indicated that subscribers to its lower-cost, ad-supported streaming platform are already generating more net revenue for the company than the average cable customer does. As for Pluto, eMarketer anticipates it will generate more than $1 billion worth of ad revenue in 2022, up from less than $800 million this year and only $440 million last year. Bakish believes the company is on track to produce $7 billion worth of streaming-based revenue by 2024.\nGiven how well prepared the company is for what lies ahead, the forward-looking price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 10 is more than a little compelling here.\n3. eBay\nFinally, add eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) to your list of bargain stocks you can buy today. China's support is key to any Cathay deployment.</p>\n<p>EASA plans consultations this year and certification work in 2022, while acknowledging \"significant risk\" to the 2025 launch date, a spokesman said.</p>\n<p>In a closed-door industry briefing this year, the agency suggested reduced-crew flights would begin with a single operator, according to notes of the meeting reviewed by Reuters.</p>\n<p>EMERGENCY DESCENT</p>\n<p>Airbus has designed an A350 autopilot upgrade and flight warning system changes to help a lone pilot manage failures, sources close to the project said.</p>\n<p>The mid-sized plane is suitable because of its \"emergency descent\" feature that quickly reduces altitude without pilot input in the event of cabin depressurisation.</p>\n<p>Proponents suggest single-pilot operations may be accepted by a flying public used to crew leaving the cockpit for bathroom breaks. They also point to higher error rates from human pilots than automated systems.</p>\n<p>Both arguments miss the point, according to a source close to Lufthansa - who said the airline's executives were advised last year that the programme could not meet safety goals.</p>\n<p>Flying solo for hours is a \"completely different story\", the source said, citing the 2009 AF447 disaster as an example of malfunctions occurring in cruise. The likes of <b>JD.com</b> (NASDAQ:JD), <b>Vipshop Holdings</b> (NYSE:VIPS), and <b>NetEase</b> (NASDAQ:NTES) have been formidable rivals, but never posed a serious threat. That all changed when <b>Pinduoduo</b> (NASDAQ:PDD) arrived on the scene in 2015.</p>\n<p>A few smart moves set the company up for success. From the get-go, Pinduoduo targeted users from rural areas. This meant it would avoid directly competing with industry incumbents.&nbsp;Pinduoduo also focused on being a mobile-only, social e-commerce platform. This allowed it to ride the explosion of mobile devices -- and social media -- to turbocharge its own growth. On top of that, an early partnership with <b>Tencent </b>(OTC:TCEHY), which owns a 15.6% stake in Pinduoduo, helped the company leverage WeChat to acquire users rapidly and cheaply.</p>\n<p>Today, Pinduoduo has 824 million active buyers on its platform. It hit a milestone in the fourth quarter of 2020 when it overtook Alibaba in terms of active buyers -- making it China's biggest e-commerce platform by this measure. It is also outpacing Alibaba in terms of growth. Pinduoduo's revenue surged 239% in its latest fiscal quarter, while Alibaba's commerce revenue grew 72% over the same period.</p>\n<p>For now, Alibaba is still holding on to its crown. Its e-commerce business generates over seven times as much revenue as Pinduoduo's. And Alibaba is taking on Pinduoduo by launching its own version of group-buying services and expanding its e-commerce business in rural areas.</p>\n<p>From a revenue perspective, Alibaba is still -- by far -- the elephant in the room. But Pinduoduo is a threat Alibaba can no longer ignore. If Pinduoduo continues expanding at the same rate, it will soon start eating into Alibaba's market share and growth.</p>\n<h2><b>2. Alibaba's newer ventures are mostly unprofitable</b></h2>\n<p>So far, we've addressed the bear case for Alibaba: an increasingly competitive e-commerce industry, and intensifying regulatory scrutiny in the U.S. and China. But bulls argue that Alibaba's fast-growing new businesses could transform it into China's version of Amazon&nbsp;-- a company with more than <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE\">one</a> success story.</p>\n<p>Alibaba's business empire includes logistics division Cainiao, cloud computing service Alibaba Cloud, and streaming platform Youku.&nbsp;These ventures have shown great potential and, in the long run, could help diversify Alibaba's revenue. Some of these businesses are also growing rapidly. For example, Alicloud -- the biggest cloud infrastructure company in China -- grew revenue by 50% in fiscal 2021. Cainiao grew up even faster with revenue up 68%&nbsp;over the same period.</p>\n<p>The problem with Alibaba's side bets is that most of them are unprofitable. That's much higher than the gains for rivalsCanopy Growth&nbsp;(CGC)&nbsp;and&nbsp;Cronos&nbsp;(CRON), which have the backing of consumer products giantsConstellation Brands(STZ)andAltria(MO), respectively.</p>\n<p>Short-sellers are targeting Tilray. And Redditors have gleefully tried to squeeze the shorts — investors who borrow stocks and sell them with hopes of buying them back at a lower price.</p>\n<p>If a stock suddenly starts to rise, short-sellers have no choice but to buy it back or face prohibitively large losses. That's a big reason behind the recent spikes in&nbsp;AMC(AMC),GameStop(GME)&nbsp;and other stocks that the Reddit community has glommed onto this year.</p>\n<p>One Reddit user&nbsp;wrote in a post&nbsp;last week that Tilray \"is a movement,\" adding that the company has \"fantastic stats\" and is \"a worthy opponent to AMC\" as a meme stock.</p>\n<p>The short-sellers have seemingly taken control in this battle lately though. After a 6% pop in Tilray's stock last Wednesday, share prices have fallen for the past three trading days.</p>\n<p>But some backers aren't deterred by the recent pullback. One Redditor on the site's Tilray board&nbsp;wrote the following message&nbsp;to any would be short sellers: \"Weed Stocks to Bears: I'm not leaving.\"</p>\n<p>The post, which also mentioned cannabis stocksAurora(ACB)andSundial Growers(SNDL), showed a clip of Leonardo DiCaprio's inspirational speech to employes from \"The Wolf of Wall Street\" in which his Jordan Belfort character exclaimed he wasn't going anywhere.</p>\n<p>The Reddit community also seems to appreciate that Tilray CEO Irwin Simon is acknowledging their support. In an interview with CNBC last week, Simon said \"we love having them as part of our shareholder base\" in response to a question about the retail investor interest in the stock.</p>\n<p>One commenter referred to Simon last week as a \"diamond\" — the ultimate Reddit compliment.</p>\n<p>\"[He] wants to build a global green giant. This dude wants to take us to tendie town gentleman,\" the poster said, using the Reddit lingo \"tendie\" to describe trading profits.</p>\n<p>\"This company has a shot to literally rocket to the top as a fundamental and strong global brand,\" the Reddit user added.</p>\n<p>Still, Tilray's faithful may have a tough time convincing the Wall Street establishment that this is a stock worth owning.</p>\n<p>Analysts who cover the stock are lukewarm on its prospects. Only four have a buy rating on Tilray, compared with 13 holds and one sell. At the end of March, SoftBank’s NAV was about 26 trillion Japanese yen ($235 billion), Son said, adding that it fluctuates on a daily basis and sits at around 25 trillion yen today.\nThere have been four main drivers for SoftBank’s business over the years, Son said. Indeed, following this year's projected 43% top-line growth and subsequent 50% improvement in per-share earnings driven by the company's recently approved COVID-19 \"antibody cocktail,\" the analyst community is calling for a revenue and profit pullback in 2022.</p>\n<p>While the focus has largely been on this year's sales swell, what's largely being overlooked is how much progress the company is making on other fronts <i>despite</i> the lingering pandemic. Its eczema drug Dupixent is nearing widened approval for more children between the ages of six and 11, while several phase 3 trials of the same drug for completely different uses were initiated. In fact, Regeneron has about 30 product candidates in the works, including several in phase 3 trials.</p>\n<p>Next year won't be as fruitful as this year; of that there can be no doubt. It's not too soon to start looking at 2023 and beyond though, particularly in light of the fact that shares are only trading at 13 times next year's suppressed earnings projection. You're not going to find too many other biopharma stocks with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals' long-term growth prospects priced this inexpensively very often.</p>\n<h3>2. ViacomCBS</h3>\n<p>You may recall that in March, share prices of <b>ViacomCBS</b> (NASDAQ:VIAC) (NASDAQ:VIAC.A) were completely up-ended, falling nearly 50% in just three days. The bulk of that pullback appears to be the result of an unmet margin call from then-owner Archegos Capital Management; Archegos' broker sold the most opportune holding to bring the fund back into compliance. The company's decision to cash in on its stock's big run-up through March by selling shares via a secondary $3 billion offering, however, fanned those bearish flames.</p>\n<p>The funny thing is, the stock's not yet recovered from this mostly artificial plunge. That's created a big opportunity.</p>\n<p>There's no denying the world of entertainment is changing, with streaming becoming an alternative not just to conventional cable television, but to theatrical films as well. ViacomCBS isn't missing this proverbial boat, however. If anything, it's steering the boat. Its free-to-watch, ad-supported streaming television platform Pluto now boasts 50 million regular viewers worldwide, and the company's subscription-based streaming services now serve 36 million people. Both subscriber bases grew at a double-digit percentage pace last quarter.</p>\n<p>Revenue is revving up accordingly. Even though the company is still learning the business, CEO Bob Bakish recently indicated that subscribers to its lower-cost, ad-supported streaming platform are already generating more net revenue for the company than the average cable customer does. As for Pluto, eMarketer anticipates it will generate more than $1 billion worth of ad revenue in 2022, up from less than $800 million this year and only $440 million last year. Bakish believes the company is on track to produce $7 billion worth of streaming-based revenue by 2024.</p>\n<p>Given how well prepared the company is for what lies ahead, the forward-looking price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 10 is more than a little compelling here.</p>\n<h3>3. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EBAY\">eBay</a></h3>\n<p>Finally, add<b> eBay </b>(NASDAQ:EBAY) to your list of bargain stocks you can buy today. Its trailing P/E ratio of 17.4 and forward-looking <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> of 16.7 underestimates the online auction company's growth potential.</p>\n<p>There's no denying<b> Amazon.com</b> won the coronavirus-consumerism war, entering the lockdown phase of the pandemic already ready to meet the needs of shoppers no longer interested in setting foot in stores.<b> Walmart</b> did pretty well for itself too. eBay nabbed some new business as well, but last year's 28% revenue uptick was actually a bit of a letdown considering the environment. Lackluster guidance for the current quarter only spurred greater doubt about the company's foreseeable future.</p>\n<p>The eBay of tomorrow, however, isn't the eBay of yesterday. The company is finally taking advantage of its smaller size and seller-powered platform to do things that Amazon and Walmart just can't.</p>\n<p>For instance, earlier this month eBay announced it was expanding its Authenticity Guarantee service to cover luxury handbags sold via its platform. Last month the company said it would allow the sale of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) at its site. Last year eBay unveiled a certified refurbished program to support sales of office and at-home electronics.
