Amazon isalso increasingly competingwith Google on search ads for commercial queries, which typically mean a consumer is actively considering a purchase, and is expected to earn 19% of allsearch ad revenue this year, compared with about 57% for Google, according to eMarketer.Shares of Shopify popped as much as 4% on the news, closing up more than 3% on the day.Google made the announcement during its conference for software developers, Google I/O, which kicked off on Tuesday. The company didn't offer many details about the integration, but it said it will allow Shopify businesses to appear across Google Search, Maps, Lens, Images and YouTube \"with just a few clicks.\"In a blog post, Google said this will make Shopify merchants' products more discoverable across its various properties.\"We believe you deserve the most choice available and we'll continue to innovate on shopping every step of the way,\" said Bill Ready, president of commerce and payments at Google, during a presentation at I/O.Separately, the companyannouncedother enhancements to its e-commerce functionality: For instance, Google's Chrome browser will persistently display shopping carts when people open new tabs, so they can return to shopping after doing other tasks. At the start of the pandemic, Google said it was waiving commission fees for merchants that participate in its \"Buy\" program, which allows consumers to search for and check out retailers' products directly on its platform without being directed to retailers' sites. The company also said it would be opening its platform to third-party providers, including PayPal and Shopify, to allow retailers more buying options outside of its own platform.Google is trying again to ramp up its e-commerce efforts, as the pandemic has created long-lasting demand for online buying, which Google's competitors have cashed in on.In a blog post, the company said, \"As we eliminate barriers like fees and improve our technology, we've seen a 70% increase in the size of our product catalog and an 80% increase in merchants on our platform.\"","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":207,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":346992060,"gmtCreate":1617978441150,"gmtModify":1704705601703,"author":{"id":"3577431650913561","authorId":"3577431650913561","name":"coookiess","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1c2e55cedbe3c89f024ca3565e9d0c46","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3577431650913561","authorIdStr":"3577431650913561"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","listText":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","text":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/346992060","repostId":"1130696404","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":296,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":327694675,"gmtCreate":1616078935997,"gmtModify":1704790719952,"author":{"id":"3577431650913561","authorId":"3577431650913561","name":"coookiess","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1c2e55cedbe3c89f024ca3565e9d0c46","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3577431650913561","authorIdStr":"3577431650913561"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Heh great for me","listText":"Heh great for me","text":"Heh great for me","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/327694675","repostId":"1172934216","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":219,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":346992060,"gmtCreate":1617978441150,"gmtModify":1704705601703,"author":{"id":"3577431650913561","authorId":"3577431650913561","name":"coookiess","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1c2e55cedbe3c89f024ca3565e9d0c46","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3577431650913561","authorIdStr":"3577431650913561"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","listText":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","text":"Yes cloud stocks are the way forward","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/346992060","repostId":"1130696404","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1130696404","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1617972783,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1130696404?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-04-09 20:53","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Cloud Software Stocks Should Prosper, Says BofA. His top picks include Coupa Software (COUP), Salesforce.com (CRM), HubSpot (HUBS), Splunk (SPLK), ServiceNow (NOW), and Workday (WDAY).
\n
In a lengthy research note, Sills lays out what he calls his “4M framework” for evaluating software companies—market opportunity, moat, margin, and management.
\n
He asserts that the value of a software company is based on a combination of the size of the addressable market, the defensibility of the company’s competitive position, the company’s customer economics, and the “strength and vision” of management. He sees the overall software addressable market as $957 billion in 2020, or about 1% of worldwide gross domestic product.
\n
Here’s his basic view on his top picks:
\n
\n
Coupa, price target $400: Sills writes that the company has “best in class customer economics and early traction in underpenetrated B2B payments.”
\n
Salesforce, target $275: “A long runway still exists for 17%-plus organic revenue growth, led by front office digital transformation in the enterprise.”
\n
HubSpot, target $600. Sills sees “sustained 25%-plus long term growth” led by consolidation of the “vast” small and medium business front-office applications market.
\n
ServiceNow, target $650. Sills sees a “long runway for 25%-plus revenue growth driven by employee workflow automation efforts.”
\n
Splunk, target $180: Sills sees a “large” opportunity in the growing observability market.
\n
Workday, target $300: The analyst says the company is “well-positioned” to consolidate the large enterprise back-office applications market with a leading cloud platform.
\n
\n
Sills also has Buy ratings on Adobe(ADBE),DocuSign(DOCU),Intuit(INTU),Microsoft(MSFT), and Veeva Systems(VEEV). He has Neutral ratings on Oracle(ORCL) and VMware(VMW), and he rates Shopify (SHOP) as Underperform, citing “lackluster customer economics.”
\n
All six of Sills’ top picks are trading higher on Thursday.
","source":"lsy1601382232898","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Cloud Software Stocks Should Prosper, Says BofA. His top picks include Coupa Software (COUP), Salesforce.com (CRM), HubSpot (HUBS), Splunk (SPLK), ServiceNow (NOW), and Workday (WDAY).\nIn a lengthy research note, Sills lays out what he calls his “4M framework” for evaluating software companies—market opportunity, moat, margin, and management.\nHe asserts that the value of a software company is based on a combination of the size of the addressable market, the defensibility of the company’s competitive position, the company’s customer economics, and the “strength and vision” of management. He sees the overall software addressable market as $957 billion in 2020, or about 1% of worldwide gross domestic product.\nHere’s his basic view on his top picks:\n\nCoupa, price target $400: Sills writes that the company has “best in class customer economics and early traction in underpenetrated B2B payments.”\nSalesforce, target $275: “A long runway still exists for 17%-plus organic revenue growth, led by front office digital transformation in the enterprise.”\nHubSpot, target $600. Sills sees “sustained 25%-plus long term growth” led by consolidation of the “vast” small and medium business front-office applications market.\nServiceNow, target $650. Sills sees a “long runway for 25%-plus revenue growth driven by employee workflow automation efforts.”\nSplunk, target $180: Sills sees a “large” opportunity in the growing observability market.\nWorkday, target $300: The analyst says the company is “well-positioned” to consolidate the large enterprise back-office applications market with a leading cloud platform.\n\nSills also has Buy ratings on Adobe(ADBE),DocuSign(DOCU),Intuit(INTU),Microsoft(MSFT), and Veeva Systems(VEEV). He has Neutral ratings on Oracle(ORCL) and VMware(VMW), and he rates Shopify (SHOP) as Underperform, citing “lackluster customer economics.”\nAll six of Sills’ top picks are trading higher on Thursday.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":296,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":327694675,"gmtCreate":1616078935997,"gmtModify":1704790719952,"author":{"id":"3577431650913561","authorId":"3577431650913561","name":"coookiess","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1c2e55cedbe3c89f024ca3565e9d0c46","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3577431650913561","authorIdStr":"3577431650913561"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Heh great for me","listText":"Heh great for me","text":"Heh great for me","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/327694675","repostId":"1172934216","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1172934216","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1616077569,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1172934216?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-03-18 22:26","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Investors really hate tech stocks right now— but should they?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1172934216","media":"yahoo","summary":"There is no love for hot tech stocks right now, but strategists say eventually that will change because commonsense says it should change.Nevertheless, the lack of love for tech is growing palpable as positions areslashed amid the rise in 10-year yields and a rotation into value stocks.Fund managers cut their tech weighting to the lowest overweight position since January 2009,according to a new survey out this week from Bank of America.
