Although recently it has been selling off quite a bit, $Apple(AAPL)$ price is only down much lesser than S&P and NASDAQ. Wall Street consensus right now is expecting an earning per share (EPS) of $1.27 compared to $1.24 same time last year, which is a 2.5% growth on a YoY basis. Revenue is expected a little bit under 89 billion dollars, and that is going to compare to 83.36 billion dollars at the same time last year, a 6.6% growth on a YoY basis. The first thing Jerome Powell mentioned was that he and the FED are strongly committed to bringing inflation back down. The FOMC decided to raise rates by another 75bps which is pretty much out of the bag and the target FED fund range now is set from 2.25% to as much as 2.5%.If you look at the last hike cycle, we basically went from 0% to 2.25% in 2 years and this time around, we went there in just four months, so we are doing the same amount of hikes but 2-4 times as fast as compared to the last hike cycle, this tells you how aggressive that the FED is. This time around, it involves the fight against inflation which is running at a 40-year high. 2022 is not very kind to me. My portfolio is in red and I only recoup some losses by doing some options. Overall still red. I hope 2nd half of 2022 will be a better half after all the interest hike finish. I am looking forward for mid term election and Christmas week where market tend to be better. As a hardcore Marvel fan, Avengers: Endgame was phenomenal! Very epic. Undoubtedly a buyer. This film is definitely my favorite out of the four Avengers movies and one of my favorites out of all 23 films. Speaking honestly, I think this film was a great conclusion, or climax, to the franchise. Very memorable. There was a variety of awesome and iconic moments and all actors and actresses did a fantastic job at their roles. $Netflix(NFLX)$is coming out with some big news about their ads supported business and partnering with $Microsoft(MSFT)$. Netflix will be the Microsoft partner for new consumer subscription plan. Advertisers will be paying to advertise their contents in the beginning, middle and ad the end of the content that are played in Netflix, which I see as a double win if this is excited well.
