As a result, I wrote on Feb. 3, a month ago, that INTC stock was undervalued by at least 19%. This was because it was trading at $49.51 on Feb. 3.</p><p>However, as of Mar. 3, a month later, INTC stock was actually lower at $47.93 per share. Obviously, this was likely due to the market downturn from the Russia invasion of Ukraine.</p><p>Nevertheless, now that the annual dividend is set at $1.46 per share, its dividend yield is now higher at 3.04%. This can be seen by dividing $47.93 by $1.464.</p><p>Intel Stock Should Have a Lower Yield and Higher Price</p><p>This is a significantly higher yield than Intel has had in the past. For example, <i>Morningstar</i> reports that the average dividend yield for the past5 years has been 2.48%.</p><p>This implies that INTC stock is worth at least $58.87 per share, or 22.8% over the price on March 3. This is the result of dividing $1.46 by 2.48%. The result is $58.87 per share.</p><p>Similarly, <i>Seeking Alpha</i> reports that Intelâs average dividend yield over the last4 years has been 2.43%. That is similar to <b>Morningstarâs</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>MORN</u></b>) 2.48% level over 5 years. It implies a similar price target of $60.08, or 25.3% higher. This is slightly higher than Morningstarâs implied price since the dividend yield is lower.</p><p>The average between these two price targets is $59.48, or 24% over todayâs price.</p><p>Therefore, the question is: when will INTC stock start to move towards this higher price? After all, it is always possible that the stock could end up falling further. This would give it an even higher dividend yield, but also take it further away from the price target.</p><p>Catalysts For a Turnaround for INTC Stock</p><p>There is no way to predict this. Unless we can identify a clear catalyst in the short-term, most value investors have resigned themselves to do one thing. That is: take advantage of cheap stock prices by averaging down as the stock price falls. This implies that the investor should not put all their investing money in any stock at one position price.</p><p>Moreover, <i>Barronâs</i> magazine reported on Feb. 23 that a major bearish analyst has recently changed his mind on Intel. The Raymond James analyst, Chris Caso, changed his recommendation to Market Perform from Market Underperform.</p><p>That is practically the same as saying, âBuy,â in analyst speak. <i>Barronâs</i> wrote that he is not necessarily bullish on the stock. He just feels that the bearish thesis on the stock has largely played out.</p><p>For example, he pointed out that the company guided analysts to expect negative free cash flow for the next three years. That is not normally a very good sign for a stock.</p><p>But the market already has discounted this into the huge drop in the last year. INTC peaked at $68.49 on Apr. 12, but dropped by 30% since then to $47.93 as of Mar. 3.</p><p>Where This Leaves Investors In INTC Stock</p><p>Analysts have generally higher price targets for INTC stock. For example, <i>Yahoo! Finance</i> indicates that the average price target of 41 analysts is $54.08 per share, or about 13% over the price of $47.93.<i>Yahoo! Finance</i>uses Refinitivâs analyst survey to set its price targets.</p><p>Moreover, <i>Seeking Alpha</i> reports that the average of 41 analysts is $54.26, very close to the Refiniv price target average. However, it also shows that the upper end of the range is up to $72.20 per share.</p><p>These recommendations are slightly lower than my price target of $59.48. As a result, I wrote on Feb. 3, a month ago, that INTC stock was undervalued by at least 19%. This was because it was trading at $49.51 on Feb. 3.However, as of Mar. 3, a month later, INTC stock was actually lower at $47.93 per share. Obviously, this was likely due to the market downturn from the Russia invasion of Ukraine.Nevertheless, now that the annual dividend is set at $1.46 per share, its dividend yield is now higher at 3.04%. This can be seen by dividing $47.93 by $1.464.Intel Stock Should Have a Lower Yield and Higher PriceThis is a significantly higher yield than Intel has had in the past. For example, Morningstar reports that the average dividend yield for the past5 years has been 2.48%.This implies that INTC stock is worth at least $58.87 per share, or 22.8% over the price on March 3. This is the result of dividing $1.46 by 2.48%. The result is $58.87 per share.Similarly, Seeking Alpha reports that Intelâs average dividend yield over the last4 years has been 2.43%. That is similar to Morningstarâs(NASDAQ:MORN) 2.48% level over 5 years. It implies a similar price target of $60.08, or 25.3% higher. This is slightly higher than Morningstarâs implied price since the dividend yield is lower. The average between these two price targets is $59.48, or 24% over todayâs price. Therefore, the question is: when will INTC stock start to move towards this higher price? After all, it is always possible that the stock could end up falling further. This would give it an even higher dividend yield, but also take it further away from the price target.Catalysts For a Turnaround for INTC StockThere is no way to predict this. Unless we can identify a clear catalyst in the short-term, most value investors have resigned themselves to do one thing. That is: take advantage of cheap stock prices by averaging down as the stock price falls. This implies that the investor should not put all their investing money in any stock at one position price. Moreover, Barronâs magazine reported on Feb. 23 that a major bearish analyst has recently changed his mind on Intel. The Raymond James analyst, Chris Caso, changed his recommendation to Market Perform from Market Underperform. That is practically the same as saying, âBuy,â in analyst speak. Barronâs wrote that he is not necessarily bullish on the stock. He just feels that the bearish thesis on the stock has largely played out.For example, he pointed out that the company guided analysts to expect negative free cash flow for the next three years. That is not normally a very good sign for a stock. But the market already has discounted this into the huge drop in the last year. INTC peaked at $68.49 on Apr. 12, but dropped by 30% since then to $47.93 as of Mar. 3.Where This Leaves Investors In INTC StockAnalysts have generally higher price targets for INTC stock. For example, Yahoo! Finance indicates that the average price target of 41 analysts is $54.08 per share, or about 13% over the price of $47.93.Yahoo! Financeuses Refinitivâs analyst survey to set its price targets. Moreover, Seeking Alpha reports that the average of 41 analysts is $54.26, very close to the Refiniv price target average. However, it also shows that the upper end of the range is up to $72.20 per share. These recommendations are slightly lower than my price target of $59.48. I used its dividend yield as the main criteria. However, so far, I have not been able to identify any kind of catalyst that could push the stock higher towards this price target. Over time, say several years, the stock should be tethered to this price target. But without a clear catalyst pushing it there, it may take time.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":249,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"4101543957382650","authorId":"4101543957382650","name":"Furore","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/78b52ae6486c5cd5de4a931acecdb214","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"authorIdStr":"4101543957382650","idStr":"4101543957382650"},"content":"Is that meant as a pun?","text":"Is that meant as a pun?","html":"Is that meant as a pun?"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":187503924,"gmtCreate":1623757421568,"gmtModify":1703818280877,"author":{"id":"3578225630518844","authorId":"3578225630518844","name":"JackOATrades","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a864e0513924ced47472353efa85e296","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3578225630518844","idStr":"3578225630518844"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Comment n like pls","listText":"Comment n like pls","text":"Comment n like pls","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":4,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/187503924","repostId":"2142788371","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2142788371","pubTimestamp":1623627985,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2142788371?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-14 07:46","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Hereâs what the market wants â and doesnât want â to hear from Powell at this weekâs Fed meeting","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2142788371","media":"MarketWatch","summary":"All eyes on the Fed!\n\"Alas, poor inflation! Probably not,â he offered.\nAndrew Hunter, senior U.S. economist at Capital Economics, in a Friday report, said that in that context, he still expects policy makers to convey a go-slow approach to any scaling back of monetary accommodation.\nâWhile we suspect that Fed officials may finally begin âtalking about talking aboutâ tapering their asset purchases at next weekâs FOMC meeting, they are likely to emphasize that the economy is still some way from making âsubstantial further progressâ towards their goals,â he said.\nIndeed, Peter Essele, head of investment management for Commonwealth Financial Network said the market may need to hear more dovishness from Fed officials, even as they circumnavigate the notion of scaling back easy-money policies.\nâMarket participants are clearly expecting a dovish tone from the Fed next week, as evidenced by the recent path of interest rates,â Essele told MarketWatch in emailed comments.\nâWe expect the Fed will keep its foot on the accommodative pedal next week, which wonât change until inflation is no longer transitory and the economy is back to full employment,â Essele said.\nâUntil then, Treasury rates should remain range-bound on the long end and anchored on the short end, offering bond investors little to worry about in the near term,â he said.\nWhat else is on investorsâ radar?\nMeanwhile, the only other main item on the docket for next week is U.S. May retail sales on Tuesday, while investors continue to watch negotiations between the Biden administration and Republicans on an infrastructure spending plan, given it has implications for economic growth and debt issuance.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":27,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3576213741857476","authorId":"3576213741857476","name":"Pettan","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/eea8055165cc8ba5c3e2968ccdcd6400","crmLevel":6,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"authorIdStr":"3576213741857476","idStr":"3576213741857476"},"content":"Tonight will be a good day?","text":"Tonight will be a good day?","html":"Tonight will be a good day?"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":185759098,"gmtCreate":1623674990514,"gmtModify":1704208338039,"author":{"id":"3578225630518844","authorId":"3578225630518844","name":"JackOATrades","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a864e0513924ced47472353efa85e296","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3578225630518844","idStr":"3578225630518844"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/RIOT\">$Riot Blockchain, Inc.(RIOT)$</a>go go go","listText":"<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/RIOT\">$Riot Blockchain, Inc.(RIOT)$</a>go go go","text":"$Riot Blockchain, Inc.(RIOT)$go go go","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/fb26fb8fd2974b04cb08c6e39ecb8b8e","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":4,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/185759098","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":266,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3573276783539100","authorId":"3573276783539100","name":"čĄçŹć ","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f6d58664124cf05cad42bab9390b8ecf","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"authorIdStr":"3573276783539100","idStr":"3573276783539100"},"content":"huh? But when you're retired, those options may not be feasible. Still, retirees need ample income to survive for possibly two or three decades (or more), and Social Security alone is never going to provide as much as they need.</p><p>Here are five sources of income to consider for your retirement. See which ones make sense for you, and perhaps tuck <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> or two in the back of your mind for later.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/74afbed74cc9005e7efd0be923397d7e\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"457\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><h2><b>1. Your Health Savings Account</b></h2><p>If you have a high-deductible health insurance plan, you may be able to set up a Health Savings Account (HSA), which can help you pay for qualifying medical expenses on a pre-tax basis. That's great, and it will save you money, but there's even more to like about HSAs.</p><p>A key feature of the HSA is that, unlike its cousin, the Flexible Spending Account (FSA), the money put into it isn't there on a use-it-or-lose-it basis. Whatever isn't spent on those qualifying expenses gets to stay and grow. Better still, it can be invested in stocks, too.</p><p>But wait -- there's more! Once you turn 65, you can spend that money on anything. Any sums not spent on qualifying healthcare expenses will count as taxable income to you, just like withdrawals from a traditional IRA or 401(k) account. So an HSA account can serve as a good retirement savings account. Since retirees often face hefty healthcare expenses, you may end up spending much of the account on them anyway, saving on taxes in the process.</p><h2><b>2. Dividends</b></h2><p>You might not think of dividends as an unexpected income source in retirement, but there's a good chance you're not taking them seriously enough. You may just be expecting a few hundred dollars here and there, at most. That's not how it has to be.</p><p>If you have a portfolio with a bunch of healthy and growing dividend-paying stocks in it, you may be able to set yourself up for an income stream that rivals Social Security. For example, with a $500,000 portfolio that has an overall dividend yield of 4%, you can expect to receive $20,000 per year in dividends alone. Even better, the income will arrive without your having to sell any shares. You can hang on to the shares, and ideally, they will grow in value. Great dividend-payers tend to increase their payouts over time, too.</p><p>For perspective, the average Social Security retirement benefit was recently $1,661 per month or about $20,000 per year.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6dc2c60a5340c0360dff2af4df6709b2\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"393\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><h2><b>3. Interest</b></h2><p>Interest can be another powerful source of retirement income -- just not right now, as interest rates have been extremely low for many years. But inflation has been on the upswing, and the Federal Reserve has signaled that increases are on the way. If you have $100,000 in short-term investments and you're earning 1% interest on it these days, that's $1,000 in interest income. It's better than nothing, but it won't go far in retirement.</p><p>Remember, though, that interest rates do fluctuate over time. Check out some historic prime rates in the table below:</p><table><thead><tr><th><p>Date</p></th><th><p>Prime Rate</p></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Aug. 1, 1948</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>2.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Jan. 22, 1958</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>4.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Dec. 18, 1968</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>6.75%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Dec. 3, 1973</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>9.75%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Dec. 26, 1978</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>11.75%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>April 2, 1980</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>20.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Dec. 19, 1980</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>21.50%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Nov. 28, 1988</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>10.50%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>July 2, 1992</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>6.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>May 17, 2000</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>9.50%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>June 27, 2003</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>4.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Dec. 13, 2005</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>7.25%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>Oct. 29, 2008</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>4.00%</p></td></tr><tr><td width=\"145\"><p>March 15, 2020</p></td><td width=\"192\"><p>3.25%</p></td></tr></tbody></table><p>Source: Fedprimerate.com.</p><p>There are occasional periods when interest rates can be well into the double digits. If your $100,000 portfolio is earning 8% interest, that's $8,000 in annual income to you -- about $667 per month. That kind of income can go a long way toward paying for food, utilities, or travel in retirement. Depending on how high interest rates go in the coming years, interest may be an unexpected source of retirement income.</p><h2><b>4. A side job</b></h2><p>I noted that in retirement, you might not be up to a regular side job, such as being a cashier in a store. But there <i>are </i>some kinds of side jobs that you may be able to take on, at least for a few years, which can bring some meaningful income into your household.</p><p>For example, you may be able to give language or music lessons to kids or adults. If you charge $50 for a lesson and give six lessons per week, that's $300 in extra income for the week -- amounting to about $15,000 per year. You might make things to sell, such as sweaters or furniture, or you could take on some freelance work that you do at your computer such as writing, editing, or designing.</p><h2><b>5. Your house</b></h2><p>Your home may provide another unexpected income stream if you rent out space in it through services such as <b>Airbnb</b> or <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EXPE\">Expedia</a>'s</b> service VRBO. If you spend a week or several weeks at a time visiting friends or family, your home might be available to rent for several long stretches. Depending on the accommodations you can offer and your home's location, you may be able to net around $100 to $200 per night or more, so renting out your space for 14 nights per year could generate $1,400 to $2,800 per year.</p><p>Depending on your circumstances, you might even take in a boarder for a while. If you charge $600 per month for a bedroom and kitchen privileges, you could generate $7,200 per year (pre-tax).</p><p>Another way to wring money out of your home is a reverse mortgage. It won't work for everyone, and it doesn't make sense for everyone, either. However, it's a valuable solution for some retirees when more income is needed. But when you're retired, those options may not be feasible. Still, retirees need ample income to survive for possibly two or three decades (or more), and Social Security alone is never going to provide as much as they need. Here are five sources of income to consider for your retirement. See which ones make sense for you, and perhaps tuck one or two in the back of your mind for later.Image source: Getty Images.1. Your Health Savings AccountIf you have a high-deductible health insurance plan, you may be able to set up a Health Savings Account (HSA), which can help you pay for qualifying medical expenses on a pre-tax basis. That's great, and it will save you money, but there's even more to like about HSAs.A key feature of the HSA is that, unlike its cousin, the Flexible Spending Account (FSA), the money put into it isn't there on a use-it-or-lose-it basis. Whatever isn't spent on those qualifying expenses gets to stay and grow. Better still, it can be invested in stocks, too.But wait -- there's more! Once you turn 65, you can spend that money on anything. Any sums not spent on qualifying healthcare expenses will count as taxable income to you, just like withdrawals from a traditional IRA or 401(k) account. So an HSA account can serve as a good retirement savings account. Since retirees often face hefty healthcare expenses, you may end up spending much of the account on them anyway, saving on taxes in the process.2. DividendsYou might not think of dividends as an unexpected income source in retirement, but there's a good chance you're not taking them seriously enough. You may just be expecting a few hundred dollars here and there, at most. That's not how it has to be.If you have a portfolio with a bunch of healthy and growing dividend-paying stocks in it, you may be able to set yourself up for an income stream that rivals Social Security. For example, with a $500,000 portfolio that has an overall dividend yield of 4%, you can expect to receive $20,000 per year in dividends alone. Even better, the income will arrive without your having to sell any shares. You can hang on to the shares, and ideally, they will grow in value. Great dividend-payers tend to increase their payouts over time, too.For perspective, the average Social Security retirement benefit was recently $1,661 per month or about $20,000 per year.Image source: Getty Images.3. InterestInterest can be another powerful source of retirement income -- just not right now, as interest rates have been extremely low for many years. But inflation has been on the upswing, and the Federal Reserve has signaled that increases are on the way. If you have $100,000 in short-term investments and you're earning 1% interest on it these days, that's $1,000 in interest income. It's better than nothing, but it won't go far in retirement.Remember, though, that interest rates do fluctuate over time. Check out some historic prime rates in the table below:DatePrime RateAug. 1, 19482.00%Jan. 22, 19584.00%Dec. 18, 19686.75%Dec. 3, 19739.75%Dec. 26, 197811.75%April 2, 198020.00%Dec. 19, 198021.50%Nov. 28, 198810.50%July 2, 19926.00%May 17, 20009.50%June 27, 20034.00%Dec. 13, 20057.25%Oct. 29, 20084.00%March 15, 20203.25%Source: Fedprimerate.com.There are occasional periods when interest rates can be well into the double digits. If your $100,000 portfolio is earning 8% interest, that's $8,000 in annual income to you -- about $667 per month. That kind of income can go a long way toward paying for food, utilities, or travel in retirement. Depending on how high interest rates go in the coming years, interest may be an unexpected source of retirement income.4. A side jobI noted that in retirement, you might not be up to a regular side job, such as being a cashier in a store. But there are some kinds of side jobs that you may be able to take on, at least for a few years, which can bring some meaningful income into your household. For example, you may be able to give language or music lessons to kids or adults. If you charge $50 for a lesson and give six lessons per week, that's $300 in extra income for the week -- amounting to about $15,000 per year. You might make things to sell, such as sweaters or furniture, or you could take on some freelance work that you do at your computer such as writing, editing, or designing.5. Your houseYour home may provide another unexpected income stream if you rent out space in it through services such as Airbnb or Expedia's service VRBO. If you spend a week or several weeks at a time visiting friends or family, your home might be available to rent for several long stretches. Depending on the accommodations you can offer and your home's location, you may be able to net around $100 to $200 per night or more, so renting out your space for 14 nights per year could generate $1,400 to $2,800 per year.Depending on your circumstances, you might even take in a boarder for a while. If you charge $600 per month for a bedroom and kitchen privileges, you could generate $7,200 per year (pre-tax).Another way to wring money out of your home is a reverse mortgage. It won't work for everyone, and it doesn't make sense for everyone, either. However, it's a valuable solution for some retirees when more income is needed. It involves borrowing money using your home as collateral and receiving regular payments based on its value. The loan doesn't have to be repaid until you no longer live in the home, such as when you die or move into a retirement home or care facility. There are various pros and cons to consider, so read up on reverse mortgages if you're interested.A little digging around online may turn up some more sources of income, but one or more of these five ideas could serve you well in the future.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":140,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":869027813,"gmtCreate":1632230925832,"gmtModify":1676530729637,"author":{"id":"3578225630518844","authorId":"3578225630518844","name":"JackOATrades","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a864e0513924ced47472353efa85e296","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3578225630518844","idStr":"3578225630518844"},"themes":[],"htmlText":" Ohhhh","listText":" Ohhhh","text":"Ohhhh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/869027813","repostId":"1119380491","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1119380491","pubTimestamp":1632230548,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1119380491?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-21 21:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"QuantumScape soars after another deal with 'top ten' automaker","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1119380491","media":"seekingalpha","summary":"(Update: Sept 21, 2021 at 09:39 a.m. ET)\nQuantumScape Corporation zooms higher after disclosing that","content":"<p><i><b>(Update: Sept 21, 2021 at 09:39 a.m. ET)</b></i></p>\n<p>QuantumScape Corporation zooms higher after disclosing that the company recently signed an agreement with a second top ten automotive original equipment manufacturer.</p>\n<p>The company says the unnamed OEM is committed to collaborating with it to evaluate prototypes of the solid-state battery cells.
