It is also lower than revenue in Q4 of $859 million.</p>\n<p>Airbnb actually turns this into a positive thing by saying it expected a much higher slump in sales. That is what they did with its Q4 revenue. They said Q4 sales were down by only 22% after expecting almost a 50% decline.</p>\n<p><b>Recovery Valuation</b></p>\n<p>Eventually, the company will return to full recovery. I suspect it may take the rest of this year. For example, in Dec. 2019 its highest quarterly revenue was $1.6457 billion. You can see this quarterly history onpage 70 of Airbnb’s latest 10-K filing.</p>\n<p>Moreover, on page 60 of the 10-K you can see that during 2018 Airbnb produced $504.9 million in FCF for the year. This worked out to 13.8% of its $3.652 billion in sales that year.</p>\n<p>We can use this to estimate the company’s full recovery potential. For example, let’s assume that Airbnb eventually recovers to make $1.65 billion in sales on a quarterly basis. That works out to a $6.6 billion annual run rate. In fact, analysts covered by<i>Seeking Alpha</i>estimate 2022 sales will hit $6.48 billion.</p>\n<p>So assuming a 13.8% margin on $6.6 billion in sales, FCF could reach $910.8 million. In fact on the high end, I suspect that FCF margins will expand by at least 50% to about 20%. That would mean Airbnb will generate $1.32 billion in free cash flow.</p>\n<p>This figure can be used to estimate Airbnb’s market value. For example, at a 1% FCF yield, ABNB stock would be worth $132 billion. This is calculated by dividing $1.32 billion by 1%. Moreover, at a 0.75% FCF yield, the market cap is worth $176 billion.</p>\n<p>Since Airbnb presently has a market cap of $102.73 billion, this implies that ABNB stock is worth between 28.5% to 71.3% higher. That puts its value in the range of $210.44 to $280.54. Let’s call it $250.00. This is based on its ultimate recovery to peak sales and a 20% FCF margin that will likely occur with that peak revenue.</p>\n<p><b>What To Do With ABNB Stock</b></p>\n<p>Analysts are uniformly bullish on ABNB stock at today’s price. For example,<i>TipRanks.com</i>reports that 28 analysts that have written reports in the last 3 months on ABNB stocksee its value at $199.14. This represents a 22% gain over today’s price of $163.77.</p>\n<p>A similar target is foreseen by 26 analysts covered by<i>Yahoo! Finance</i>($188.26)as well as by 34 analysts reviewedby<i>Seeking Alpha</i>($180.45). However,<i>Marketbeat.com</i>reports that37 analysts have a 5.2% lower target of $163.66.</p>\n<p>If we take an average of all four of these analyst aggregation sites, the price target works out to $182.88. This is about 12% higher than today’s price. But keep in mind that these analysts generally are only providing 12-month forward price targets.</p>\n<p>My price target of $250, which is 52.7% higher than today, could take up to two years to reach. Therefore, the average annual return will be 23.55% per year on a compounded annual basis. That is a pretty good return for most investors.</p>\n<p>But keep in mind that I am using pretty aggressive assumptions. I assume that the company will return to its peak sales, have 50% higher FCF margins and that the FCF yield will be between 0.75% to 1.0%. These are best-in-case assumptions. This is the potential upside of the stock.</p>\n<p><b>Using Probability To Estimate Returns</b></p>\n<p>Let’s say that there is a higher likelihood that analysts’ projections occur rather than my projection. For example, let’s say there is a 60% probability that ABNB rises to $182.99, or 12% higher. That leaves a 40% chance it will go to $250, or 53% higher.</p>\n<p>Therefore, the weighted probability is that ABNB stock will rise 28.4%. This is seen by multiplying 60% by 12% (i.e., 7.2%) and adding that to the result of multiplying 40% by 53% (21.2%). So, 7.2% plus 21.2% equals 28.4%. Any bad news will send it into the low teens.</p>\n<p>While I can’t tell you what Fubo’s top and bottom lines will look like in the first quarter, I can tell you analysts expect revenue of $103.8 million and a loss of 46 cents.</p>\n<p>In fact, the pros don’t see profits until at least 2023 or later.</p>\n<p>So, if you’re the type of investor who only invests in profitable companies, FUBO stock is definitely not for you. However, if you were an early buyer of<b>Roku</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>ROKU</u></b>) stock, you might take a closer look to see if Fubo has the right stuff.</p>\n<p>I’m not saying it does, but before you write it off, at least check out this important operating metric. It tells you all you need to know.</p>\n<p><b>ROKU Stock and Hours Streamed Per Account</b></p>\n<p>In January 2020, I argued that ROKU stock wasa screaming buyunder $100. At the time, it was trading at $130. Several months earlier, trading at $84, I said it would hit $200 by May 2024.</p>\n<p>Boy, was I being conservative. It hit $200 by October 2020 and reached an all-time high of $486.72 by February 2021. Since then, it’s struggled to stay above $300. In a similar vein as my January 2020 call, Roku’s a screaming buy under $300.</p>\n<p>But I’m getting off course.</p>\n<p>I’ve liked Roku in the past because it consistently increases its average hours streamed per account each quarter. On May 6, Roku reported its Q1 2021 results. It had 18.3 billion streaming hours, 49% higher than a year earlier and 7.6% higher than in Q4 2020. All of that resulted in $269 million in 2020 revenue.</p>\n<p>Roku makes money from selling streaming players (“player revenue”) and generating revenue from digital ads, content distribution, revenue shares, premium subscriptions, and others (“platform revenue”). In Q1 2021, the split was 81% platform revenue and 19% player revenue.</p>\n<p>FuboTV makes money from paid subscriptions and advertising.&nbsp; However, in its business model, most of the revenue in 2020 was from subscriptions, which accounted for89%, while advertising made up the remaining 11%.</p>\n<p>In 2020, the total hours watched by FuboTV users was 544.9 million. At the end of fiscal 2020 (Dec. 31, 2020), it had547,880 paid subscribers, which means the average paid subscriber watched 994.56 hours. In 2019, the average paid subscriber watched 917.56 hours. That’s a year-over-year increase of 8.4%.</p>\n<p>In 2020, Roku streamed58.7 billionhours, 55.3% higher than a year earlier. At the end of 2020, it had 51.2 million active accounts. That’s an average of 1,146.48 hours streamed per active account. In 2019, the average was 1,024.39 [based on 37.8 billion hours streamed divided by 36.9 million active accounts]. The YOY growth in hours streamed per active account was 11.9%, 350 basis points higher than FuboTV.</p>\n<p><b>The Bottom Line</b></p>\n<p>When FuboTV reports its Q1 2021 results, I would look to see that it’s continuing to grow its hours watched, the number of paid subscribers, and of course, hours watched per paid subscriber. If all three of those are positive, I don’t see why a speculative investor wouldn’t remain very interested in FUBO stock.</p>\n<p>InDecember 2018, I said that “[a]s long as the company [ROKU] kept growing its active accounts and viewing hours of those active accounts, advertising revenue would continue to grow.”</p>\n<p>That’s precisely what’s happened. Any bad news will send it into the low teens.\nWhile I can’t tell you what Fubo’s top and bottom lines will look like in the first quarter, I can tell you analysts expect revenue of $103.8 million and a loss of 46 cents.\nIn fact, the pros don’t see profits until at least 2023 or later.\nSo, if you’re the type of investor who only invests in profitable companies, FUBO stock is definitely not for you. However, if you were an early buyer ofRoku(NASDAQ:ROKU) stock, you might take a closer look to see if Fubo has the right stuff.\nI’m not saying it does, but before you write it off, at least check out this important operating metric. People are traveling more and renting out places to stay on Airbnb. And as this activity increases, its finances will recover as well, especially its return to free cash flow (FCF) profitability.</p>\n<p>Its upcomingfirst-quarter results on May 13should begin to show this. As a result, expect to see ABNB stock move higher, especially if analysts begin to model in positive FCF.</p>\n<p>As it stands, analysts expect to see $718.86 million in revenue for Q1. This is 14.6% lower than last year’s revenue for Q1 (i.e., $841.83 million). It is also lower than revenue in Q4 of $859 million.</p>\n<p>Airbnb actually turns this into a positive thing by saying it expected a much higher slump in sales. That is what they did with its Q4 revenue. They said Q4 sales were down by only 22% after expecting almost a 50% decline.</p>\n<p><b>Recovery Valuation</b></p>\n<p>Eventually, the company will return to full recovery. I suspect it may take the rest of this year. For example, in Dec. 2019 its highest quarterly revenue was $1.6457 billion. You can see this quarterly history onpage 70 of Airbnb’s latest 10-K filing.</p>\n<p>Moreover, on page 60 of the 10-K you can see that during 2018 Airbnb produced $504.9 million in FCF for the year. This worked out to 13.8% of its $3.652 billion in sales that year.</p>\n<p>We can use this to estimate the company’s full recovery potential. For example, let’s assume that Airbnb eventually recovers to make $1.65 billion in sales on a quarterly basis. That works out to a $6.6 billion annual run rate. In fact, analysts covered by<i>Seeking Alpha</i>estimate 2022 sales will hit $6.48 billion.</p>\n<p>So assuming a 13.8% margin on $6.6 billion in sales, FCF could reach $910.8 million. In fact on the high end, I suspect that FCF margins will expand by at least 50% to about 20%. That would mean Airbnb will generate $1.32 billion in free cash flow.</p>\n<p>This figure can be used to estimate Airbnb’s market value. For example, at a 1% FCF yield, ABNB stock would be worth $132 billion. This is calculated by dividing $1.32 billion by 1%. Moreover, at a 0.75% FCF yield, the market cap is worth $176 billion.</p>\n<p>Since Airbnb presently has a market cap of $102.73 billion, this implies that ABNB stock is worth between 28.5% to 71.3% higher. That puts its value in the range of $210.44 to $280.54. Let’s call it $250.00. This is based on its ultimate recovery to peak sales and a 20% FCF margin that will likely occur with that peak revenue.</p>\n<p><b>What To Do With ABNB Stock</b></p>\n<p>Analysts are uniformly bullish on ABNB stock at today’s price. For example,<i>TipRanks.com</i>reports that 28 analysts that have written reports in the last 3 months on ABNB stocksee its value at $199.14. This represents a 22% gain over today’s price of $163.77.</p>\n<p>A similar target is foreseen by 26 analysts covered by<i>Yahoo! Finance</i>($188.26)as well as by 34 analysts reviewedby<i>Seeking Alpha</i>($180.45). However,<i>Marketbeat.com</i>reports that37 analysts have a 5.2% lower target of $163.66.</p>\n<p>If we take an average of all four of these analyst aggregation sites, the price target works out to $182.88. This is about 12% higher than today’s price. But keep in mind that these analysts generally are only providing 12-month forward price targets.</p>\n<p>My price target of $250, which is 52.7% higher than today, could take up to two years to reach. Therefore, the average annual return will be 23.55% per year on a compounded annual basis. That is a pretty good return for most investors.</p>\n<p>But keep in mind that I am using pretty aggressive assumptions. I assume that the company will return to its peak sales, have 50% higher FCF margins and that the FCF yield will be between 0.75% to 1.0%. These are best-in-case assumptions. This is the potential upside of the stock.</p>\n<p><b>Using Probability To Estimate Returns</b></p>\n<p>Let’s say that there is a higher likelihood that analysts’ projections occur rather than my projection. For example, let’s say there is a 60% probability that ABNB rises to $182.99, or 12% higher. That leaves a 40% chance it will go to $250, or 53% higher.</p>\n<p>Therefore, the weighted probability is that ABNB stock will rise 28.4%. This is seen by multiplying 60% by 12% (i.e., 7.2%) and adding that to the result of multiplying 40% by 53% (21.2%). So, 7.2% plus 21.2% equals 28.4%. As a result, expect to see ABNB stock move higher, especially if analysts begin to model in positive FCF.\nAs it stands, analysts expect to see $718.86 million in revenue for Q1. This is 14.6% lower than last year’s revenue for Q1 (i.e., $841.83 million). It is also lower than revenue in Q4 of $859 million.\nAirbnb actually turns this into a positive thing by saying it expected a much higher slump in sales. That is what they did with its Q4 revenue. They said Q4 sales were down by only 22% after expecting almost a 50% decline.\nRecovery Valuation\nEventually, the company will return to full recovery. I suspect it may take the rest of this year. For example, in Dec. 2019 its highest quarterly revenue was $1.6457 billion. You can see this quarterly history onpage 70 of Airbnb’s latest 10-K filing.\nMoreover, on page 60 of the 10-K you can see that during 2018 Airbnb produced $504.9 million in FCF for the year. This represents a 22% gain over today’s price of $163.77.\nA similar target is foreseen by 26 analysts covered byYahoo! Finance($188.26)as well as by 34 analysts reviewedbySeeking Alpha($180.45). However,Marketbeat.comreports that37 analysts have a 5.2% lower target of $163.66.\nIf we take an average of all four of these analyst aggregation sites, the price target works out to $182.88. This is about 12% higher than today’s price. But keep in mind that these analysts generally are only providing 12-month forward price targets.\nMy price target of $250, which is 52.7% higher than today, could take up to two years to reach. Therefore, the average annual return will be 23.55% per year on a compounded annual basis. However, if you were an early buyer of<b>Roku</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>ROKU</u></b>) stock, you might take a closer look to see if Fubo has the right stuff.</p>\n<p>I’m not saying it does, but before you write it off, at least check out this important operating metric. It tells you all you need to know.</p>\n<p><b>ROKU Stock and Hours Streamed Per Account</b></p>\n<p>In January 2020, I argued that ROKU stock wasa screaming buyunder $100. At the time, it was trading at $130. Several months earlier, trading at $84, I said it would hit $200 by May 2024.</p>\n<p>Boy, was I being conservative. It hit $200 by October 2020 and reached an all-time high of $486.72 by February 2021. Since then, it’s struggled to stay above $300. In a similar vein as my January 2020 call, Roku’s a screaming buy under $300.</p>\n<p>But I’m getting off course.</p>\n<p>I’ve liked Roku in the past because it consistently increases its average hours streamed per account each quarter. On May 6, Roku reported its Q1 2021 results. It had 18.3 billion streaming hours, 49% higher than a year earlier and 7.6% higher than in Q4 2020. That’s good to see.</p>\n<p>In Q1 2021, it ended the quarter with53.6 millionactive accounts, up 35% from a year earlier and 4.7% from Q4 2020. Also, good.</p>\n<p>So, in Q1 2021, the average hours streamed per account was 341.42. In Q4 2020, it was 332.03, a 2.8% increase. In Q1 2020, it was 309.05, translating into a year-over-year increase of 10.5%.</p>\n<p>ROKU stock jumped 13% on the news.</p>\n<p><b>FUBO Stock and Hours Streamed Per Account</b></p>\n<p>Right there on FuboTV’s investor relations home page are the following figures: 548,000 paid subscribers in 2020, 545 million streamed hours in 2020, and 206 monthly hours per user in December 2020. All of that resulted in $269 million in 2020 revenue.</p>\n<p>Roku makes money from selling streaming players (“player revenue”) and generating revenue from digital ads, content distribution, revenue shares, premium subscriptions, and others (“platform revenue”). In Q1 2021, the split was 81% platform revenue and 19% player revenue.</p>\n<p>FuboTV makes money from paid subscriptions and advertising.&nbsp; However, in its business model, most of the revenue in 2020 was from subscriptions, which accounted for89%, while advertising made up the remaining 11%.</p>\n<p>In 2020, the total hours watched by FuboTV users was 544.9 million. At the end of fiscal 2020 (Dec. 31, 2020), it had547,880 paid subscribers, which means the average paid subscriber watched 994.56 hours. In 2019, the average paid subscriber watched 917.56 hours. That’s a year-over-year increase of 8.4%.</p>\n<p>In 2020, Roku streamed58.7 billionhours, 55.3% higher than a year earlier. At the end of 2020, it had 51.2 million active accounts. That’s an average of 1,146.48 hours streamed per active account. In 2019, the average was 1,024.39 [based on 37.8 billion hours streamed divided by 36.9 million active accounts]. The YOY growth in hours streamed per active account was 11.9%, 350 basis points higher than FuboTV.</p>\n<p><b>The Bottom Line</b></p>\n<p>When FuboTV reports its Q1 2021 results, I would look to see that it’s continuing to grow its hours watched, the number of paid subscribers, and of course, hours watched per paid subscriber. If all three of those are positive, I don’t see why a speculative investor wouldn’t remain very interested in FUBO stock.</p>\n<p>InDecember 2018, I said that “[a]s long as the company [ROKU] kept growing its active accounts and viewing hours of those active accounts, advertising revenue would continue to grow.”</p>\n<p>That’s precisely what’s happened.
