SPX will see a 1000 point drop by 2022

This is my bold prediction that the US Stockmarket benchmark will see a 25% drop by year end, and possibly earlier.A 25% drop will represent a 1000 points drop from the current level of around 4200 to approximately 3200.$Apple(AAPL)$ will likely hit 100 dollars per share. I know what some people here will reply in the comments, if Apple falls to 100, I'll sell everything and all in to Apple, okay we shall see all right. [LOL] [LOL] [LOL] $S&P 500(.SPX)$🇺🇲🐻

The Trend Is Your Friend

Sometimes when certain people states that the bull market can't go on any longer, they tend to receive counter arguments stating that the market just rebounded, very very strongly since the Russia Ukraine War started.Well, look at where we are at now relatively to the highs in December 2022. Do not be fooled by the short term rebound, or more commonly known as dead cat bounce.Technical Analsysi although not 100 % accurate, but the recent formation of lower highs and lower lows does signify that we are heading into a bear market very soon.As always, take the advice you read from the Internet with a pinch of salt. At the end of the day, it's your money and you should be responsible for whatever actions you take.Quote of the day: "never ever go against the trend."

Why It Won't Be Like March 2020 This Time

As the title suggested, back in March 2020, the market experienced the quickest fall in a decade. The major stock market indices$S&P 500(.SPX)$$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ)$$DJIA(.DJI)$tanked more than 30% in a matter of 1 month. All these happened due to the Covid 19 crisis, which brought about a very short lived recession.Fast forward 1 year later, we are seeing the stock market only reaching new highs, with the S&P 500 hitting 70 new highs record in year 2021.Now many people would be thinking, aiya I should have just

Retail Investor Always Loses

Source : Morgan Stanley QDSBased on the a tradeflow analysis by Morgan Stanley, it is estimated that all the gains from retail investors from The Start of the Pandemic has all vanished. Right now, they're at a point of breakeven.I am sure all the expert investors here will know how well they have performed. Do let me know id Morgan Stanley is right or wrong in the comments below.

Just one week, ans we're 100 points closer to my target, bear in mind, market doesn't plummet to hell in a straight-line manner, there'll possibly be rebound in the coming months due to whatever reasons that I am unable to foresee, but it represents on another round of dead cat bounce, to trap more gullible retail investors into thinking their buying the dip strategy works.Only to realise later on the dip falls even more.

Why BNPL are bad investments?

BNPL which stands for buy now pay later.A couple years ago (around 2018-2019), while I was in Australia, BNPL was already quite a popular concept. And just like everything that's new, it gets overhyped and the valuation of BNPL companies in Australia at that time shot to the moon. One of them would be Afterpay which has been acquired by $Block(SQ)$ , and the other notable one is called $Z1P.$SPY 20220211 464.0 CALL$ So what exactly are BNPL? Put it simply, it's a poor man's credit card. BNPL allows the users to purchase big ticket items and the payment is usually separated into 3 monthly payments, without any interest charges. The access to this credit is pretty lenient, u

Why The Correction Is Not Done!

From the Christmas rally in 2021, we have seen $S&P 500(.SPX)$ hit an All Time High of 4818.62, $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ hit 16,212 in Nov. For the ease of discussion I will only refer to NASDAQ and SPX as the indicators of the US Equity Market. The recent inflation data, CPI of 7.5% YoY growth goes to show that the Federal Reserve has done a poor job in maintaining price stability.  The excessive Quantitative Easing which started in March 2020 has flooded the economy with so much liquidity that the prices of assets to skyrocket (not to mention virtual money, JPEGs and even real estate). All this can only occur in a extremely accommodative environment with zero interest rate
