Fears over inflation have sparked a sell-off, dragging many growth stocks down in the process. Of course, it's natural to panic, but that's not very productive.</p>\n<p>Instead, think of this as a buying opportunity. For instance, <b>Cloudflare</b> (NYSE:NET) and <b>Shopify</b> (NYSE:SHOP) have each fallen over 20% from their 52-week highs, but both look like good long-term investments. Here's why you should consider buying these two growth stocks on the dip.</p>\n<h2>1. Cloudflare: Cloud computing</h2>\n<p>Cloudflare is a cloud services provider that makes the internet faster, more reliable, and more secure. Its global network spans 200 cities, and supports nearly 17% of the internet as of April 2021, according to W3Techs. Those are incredible statistics, but they mean more in context. So let's look at a recent product launch.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/5e55778fa4732da24b1a14ed4fcaafa2\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"478\"><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p>\n<p>Traditionally, corporations have taken a castle-and-moat approach to networks: All resources were stored on-site, all employees worked in the office, and all incoming and outgoing connections were filtered through central hardware (e.g. firewall boxes, internet gateways). But this model is no longer efficient or effective, since more employees are working remotely and more enterprises rely on cloud computing.</p>\n<p>In 2020, Cloudflare launched Cloudflare for Teams to solve this problem. This product is built around Cloudflare Access and Cloudflare Gateway, enabling employees to securely access corporate resources and the open internet whether they are in the office or working remotely.</p>\n<p>Moreover, Cloudflare's global network offers performance at a scale that would be impossible for most enterprises to achieve on their own. It also eliminates the need for costly on-site hardware. Put another way, Cloudflare for Teams is faster and cheaper than legacy network security solutions.</p>\n<p>Beyond this example, Cloudflare offers a range of other products -- everything from serverless computing to streaming video platforms -- all of which are designed to enhance performance and security.</p>\n<p>In total, management believes the company's market opportunity will grow at 9% per year, rising from $72 billion in 2020 to $100 billion by 2024. But Cloudflare's revenue is growing <i>much</i> faster, meaning the company is gaining market share.</p>\n<table>\n <thead>\n <tr>\n <th><p>Metric</p></th>\n <th><p>2017</p></th>\n <th><p>Q1 2021 (TTM)</p></th>\n <th><p>CAGR</p></th>\n </tr>\n </thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Customers</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>49,309</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>119,206</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>31%</p></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Revenue</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$135 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$478 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>48%</p></td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Cloudflare SEC filings. TTM = trailing-12-months. CAGR = compound annual growth rate.</p>\n<p>Going forward, investors should pay attention to Cloudflare's ability to maintain its momentum. The company faces competition from legacy providers like <b>Akamai</b> and public cloud titans like <b>Amazon</b> Web Services. However, Cloudflare is currently growing more quickly than both. That's why this growth stock is a buy for long-term investors.</p>\n<h2>2. Shopify: E-commerce</h2>\n<p>Creating an e-commerce website is complicated, especially if you're not a software developer. And managing a business is even more complicated since you need a way to process payments, manage inventory, fulfill and ship orders, and run ad campaigns.</p>\n<p>Shopify removes all of this complexity, simplifying commerce. Using its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, anyone can easily build an online storefront and manage a business across physical and digital locations.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ff4a35f99c16648b52d7b3f448eb34e1\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\"><span>Image source: Shopify.</span></p>\n<p>Not surprisingly, Shopify's business has grown at an incredible pace as e-commerce has gained traction around the world. In 2016 the company had 377,500 customers, but that figure double by 2018 and doubled again by 2020, reaching 1.7 million.</p>\n<p>At the same time, Shopify has seen strong adoption of its payment processing and shipping services. In 2016 Shopify Payments handled 39% of gross merchandise volume (GMV), but that figure hit 45% in 2020. Likewise, less than 40% of U.S. and Canadian merchants used Shopify Shipping in 2018, but that figure hit 52% in 2020.</p>\n<p>Here's the takeaway: Shopify's quickly growing customer base has powered soaring subscription sales, but increasing adoption of Shopify Payments and Shopify Shipping has driven even faster sales growth in merchant solutions.</p>\n<table>\n <thead>\n <tr>\n <th><p>Shopify Revenue</p></th>\n <th><p>2016</p></th>\n <th><p>2020</p></th>\n <th><p>CAGR</p></th>\n </tr>\n </thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Subscription</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$188.6 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$908.8 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>48%</p></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Merchant Solutions</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$200.7 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$2.0 billion</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>78%</p></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Total</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$389.3 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$2.9 billion</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>66%</p></td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Shopify SEC filings. Subscription sales growth accelerated to 71% and merchant solutions sales growth accelerated to 137%. In total, Q1 revenue came in at $989 million -- more than double its full-year revenue in 2016.</p>\n<p>This supercharged financial performance can't last forever, but even as growth slows, I believe Shopify will be an important player in the e-commerce industry for decades to come. The index's 1% drop as of 2:15 p.m. EDT was bigger than what other major market benchmarks faced, in part because the appetite for high-priced stocks seems to have waned considerably over the past few months.</p>\n<p>However, a couple of Nasdaq stocks were big winners on Monday, and they both have innovative business models that could have a positive influence on the world. <b>AppHarvest</b>(NASDAQ:APPH) and <b>Summit Therapeutics</b>(NASDAQ:SMMT)had notable gains to start the week. Below, we'll go into the details to see why investors are paying close attention to these two Nasdaq winners.</p>\n<p>Investors are feeding on this stock</p>\n<p>Shares of AppHarvest had a solid gain of more than 8% on Monday afternoon. The stock only recently came public through a merger with aspecial purpose acquisition company, and this was the first chance that investors had to see the sustainable-farming company's full potential.</p>\n<p>AppHarvest released its first-quarter financial reporton Monday, and shareholders liked what they saw. The company posted $2.3 million in revenue in its first operational quarter, selling 3.8 million pounds of tomatoes from its first greenhouse facility in Kentucky. AppHarvest posted considerable losses, as expected, but it has high hopes for the future.</p>\n<p>In particular, AppHarvest said that it had fully planted its 60-acre facility as of the first week of May, which should lead to capacity harvests for the foreseeable future as indoor farming makes all-year growing possible. The company has seen strong demand from customers like grocery-giant<b>Kroger</b> and fast-food restaurant chain<b>Wendy's</b> and anticipates more interest as it develops additional facilities.</p>\n<p>AppHarvest won't be profitable in the near term, but shareholders are still excited about its growth potential. With sustainable farming potentially making it possible to feed an increasingly hungry world, the stock is an interesting way to invest in agriculture.</p>\n<p>Here's a healthy pick</p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Summit Therapeutics did even better, as its stock soared 22%. The developmental-stage biopharmaceutical company's financial report didn't feature very attractive numbers, but investors are optimistic about the progress it has made recently.</p>\n<p>Summit's financials were predictably ugly. Revenue was just $192,000, leading to losses of $17.5 million. Summit is burning cash to conduct clinical trials, and until one of the treatments in the company's pipeline pans out, investors can expect those losses to continue. However, the company noted that CEO and majority shareholder Robert Duggan provided an additional $55 million in debt financing during the first three months of 2021, helping to boost Summit's cash levels back above the $100 million mark.</p>\n<p>Moreover, Summit had promising news in its business update. Phase 3 trials for its ridinilazole antibiotic are ongoing, with support from the federal government's Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. The index's 1% drop as of 2:15 p.m. EDT was bigger than what other major market benchmarks faced, in part because the appetite for high-priced stocks seems to have waned considerably over the past few months.\nHowever, a couple of Nasdaq stocks were big winners on Monday, and they both have innovative business models that could have a positive influence on the world. AppHarvest(NASDAQ:APPH) and Summit Therapeutics(NASDAQ:SMMT)had notable gains to start the week. Below, we'll go into the details to see why investors are paying close attention to these two Nasdaq winners.\nInvestors are feeding on this stock\nShares of AppHarvest had a solid gain of more than 8% on Monday afternoon. The stock only recently came public through a merger with aspecial purpose acquisition company, and this was the first chance that investors had to see the sustainable-farming company's full potential.\nAppHarvest released its first-quarter financial reporton Monday, and shareholders liked what they saw. The company posted $2.3 million in revenue in its first operational quarter, selling 3.8 million pounds of tomatoes from its first greenhouse facility in Kentucky. AppHarvest posted considerable losses, as expected, but it has high hopes for the future.\nIn particular, AppHarvest said that it had fully planted its 60-acre facility as of the first week of May, which should lead to capacity harvests for the foreseeable future as indoor farming makes all-year growing possible. The company has seen strong demand from customers like grocery-giantKroger and fast-food restaurant chainWendy's and anticipates more interest as it develops additional facilities.\nAppHarvest won't be profitable in the near term, but shareholders are still excited about its growth potential. With sustainable farming potentially making it possible to feed an increasingly hungry world, the stock is an interesting way to invest in agriculture.\nHere's a healthy pick\nMeanwhile, Summit Therapeutics did even better, as its stock soared 22%. The developmental-stage biopharmaceutical company's financial report didn't feature very attractive numbers, but investors are optimistic about the progress it has made recently.\nSummit's financials were predictably ugly. Revenue was just $192,000, leading to losses of $17.5 million. Summit is burning cash to conduct clinical trials, and until one of the treatments in the company's pipeline pans out, investors can expect those losses to continue. However, the company noted that CEO and majority shareholder Robert Duggan provided an additional $55 million in debt financing during the first three months of 2021, helping to boost Summit's cash levels back above the $100 million mark.\nMoreover, Summit had promising news in its business update. Phase 3 trials for its ridinilazole antibiotic are ongoing, with support from the federal government's Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. Moreover, the company just launched a new study for adolescents, hoping to establish a favorable safety profile as a complement to its concurrent phase 3 program.\nSummit's share price has been volatile as investors try to determine whether the company will find success with its clinical program. As with most companies in the industry, Summit could see either massive upside or suffer big losses depending on what happens with ridinilazole and the other candidates in its pipeline.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":393,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3582792409142285","authorId":"3582792409142285","name":"MRRICH","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/35ba916bd4fa84b460ff38eee7294c37","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"authorIdStr":"3582792409142285","idStr":"3582792409142285"},"content":"Done plEase Do the same","text":"Done plEase Do the same","html":"Done plEase Do the same"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":139008462,"gmtCreate":1621571062156,"gmtModify":1704359870666,"author":{"id":"3579516125900267","authorId":"3579516125900267","name":"lazyTrader","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f714899f3936b237fc0385f516fb4215","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579516125900267","idStr":"3579516125900267"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like n comment!","listText":"Like n comment!","text":"Like n comment!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":4,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/139008462","repostId":"2137763179","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2137763179","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1621544173,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2137763179?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-05-21 04:56","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall Street ends to snap 3-day losing streak as technology stocks rise higher","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2137763179","media":"Reuters","summary":"May 20 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes rebounded on Thursday after a three-day slide, buoyed ","content":"<p>May 20 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes rebounded on Thursday after a three-day slide, buoyed by gains in technology stocks as the smallest weekly jobless claims since the start of a pandemic-driven recession lifted the mood.</p><p>Bitcoin clawed back some lost ground to trade near $40,000 a day after a brutal selloff, helping renew appetite for risk. Particularly car exports, which fell a lot last year, are picking up,\" said Meiji Yasuda Research Institute chief economist Yuichi Kodama.\n\"In Japan, capital spending tends to move in sync with external demand, so an export recovery is encouraging for machinery orders and capital expenditure.\"\nBy destination, exports to China, Japan's largest trading partner, rose 33.9 per cent year-on-year in April, led by shipments of chip-making equipment, hybrid cars and scrap copper.\nUS-bound exports grew 45.1 per cent in the year to April, the fastest gain since 2010, on the back of demand for automobiles, car parts and ship engines.\nSeparate data from the Cabinet Office showed Japan's core machinery orders, a highly volatile data series regarded as an indicator of capital spending in the coming six to nine months, rose 3.7 per cent in March from the previous month.\nThe rise in core orders, which exclude those of ships and electric utilities, compared with a 6.4 per cent increase seen in a Reuters poll of economists, the data showed.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":578,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":192960699,"gmtCreate":1621137823311,"gmtModify":1704353252518,"author":{"id":"3579516125900267","authorId":"3579516125900267","name":"lazyTrader","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f714899f3936b237fc0385f516fb4215","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3579516125900267","idStr":"3579516125900267"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like n comment ","listText":"Like n comment ","text":"Like n comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/192960699","repostId":"1163454382","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1163454382","pubTimestamp":1621004581,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1163454382?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-05-14 23:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Why AMC Entertainment Stock Jumped Again Friday","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1163454382","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"AMC investors have reason for more optimism on the heels of another capital raise.Yesterday's jump came after the company announcedit raised $428 million. While these share purchases moved the stock, which now trades at record levels, there's every reason to believe that most of the gains will evaporate in the upcoming weeks, as fundamentally AMC is a weak company in a declining industry that constantly raises money via debt and share offerings in order to sustain its losses. While this helped AMC to survive the pandemic, the mounting interest expenses along with the high cost of servicing its debt will make it hard for the business to recover anytime soon. Therefore, we believe that the current momentum in AMC's stock is not going to last long and we might once again open a short position in the company in the upcoming days.</p>\n<p><b>Lots of Risks Ahead</b></p>\n<p>AMC's stock has once again appreciated on heavy volume in recent days, as public investors, who now own the majority of the company, managed to execute another squeeze that pushed shares to record highs. However, as the company's stock trades significantly above its pre-COVID-19 levels even though its share count increased by over 300% while the business continues to struggle, there's a risk that such a squeeze is not sustainable in the long run. Considering that AMC's revenues inQ1declined by 84.2% Y/Y to $148.3 million, while at the same time the company had a net loss of $557 million during the period, we believe that the current premium at which AMC trades is not justified and there's every reason to believe that the current momentum is not going to last long.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a61221331c36fc8c006db4154a7c695d\" tg-width=\"1280\" tg-height=\"443\"><span>Chart: Seeking Alpha</span></p>\n<p>The good thing about AMC is that it managed to raise enough liquidity in order to not to worry about any insolvency issues in the short term. While at the end of Q1 the company had $813.1 million in cash reserves, in late April it executed another at-the-market offering and sold 43 million additional shares at $9.94 per share under the previous authorization program, which helped it to increase its liquidity to around $1.2 billion.</p>\n<p>However, the high debt burden along with high-interest expenses will make it extremely hard for the business to create any value at all in the upcoming quarters. At the end of Q1, AMC still had $5.44 billion in long-term debt and its interest expense at the end of the quarter stood at $153 million. While the proceeds from the latest share offering will be spent on covering its high-interest debt first, the company is still likely going to spend around $600 million in interest expenses this year. Considering that before the pandemic in 2019 AMC generated only $579 million in cash from operations, it will be extremely hard for the company to last long without raising additional liquidity, especially in the current depressed business environment where it's unlikely that any FCF will be generated at all anytime soon. Therefore, it's safe to assume that an overleveraged balance sheet is here to stay.</p>\n<p>The reality is that AMC is very likely going to raise even more liquidity in the long run only to sustain its current losses, as it's unlikely that the business will recover from the pandemic anytime soon. Therefore, even if the company manages to cover its most expensive debt, it'll still have a significant debt burden, which will prevent the business from growing and will make it nearly impossible for AMC to service the rest of its debt without raising additional liquidity. In our latestarticle on AMC, we've said that the company believes that in order to not run out of cash in the next few quarters, it needs to operate at a capacity of ~90% pre-pandemic levels, and we don't see that happening anytime soon.</p>\n<p>If AMC fails to raise additional debt, then another secondary offering will be its only solution, which in the end will dilute its shareholders even more. While the company initially planned to ask its shareholders to authorize the option to offer additional 500 million shares and even pledged not to issue them this year, it later decided to withdraw that request. However, AMC has also postponed its annual investors meeting from May to late July, so there's still a possibility that it will ask for some sort of authorization to issue additional shares in the foreseeable future, but the number of that shares might be lower than initially requested. The company clearly stated in one of its recent earnings filings that if it won't be able to find additional liquidity in case of poor recovery of the business, then it'll be looking at options to restructure its liabilities. Therefore, we believe that the company will have no other choice but to ask for some sort of authorization from shareholders later on in order to improve its liquidity profile.</p>\n<p>The other problem is that even if AMC dumps 500 million additional shares onto the market, which will more than double its current share count, and covers a large portion of its debt, the growth will still be limited due to the fact that the movie industry is changing and streaming services are becoming more popular every day. On top of that, the latest data suggests that there's no pent-up demand for movies, as the attendance in a large number of AMC's theaters across the country is still below the permitted capacity levels. While at the end of Q1 AMC had 585 domestic theaters opened at a limited capacity from 15% to 60%, its revenues from admissions were still down 88% during the quarter to $69 million from $568 million a year ago.</p>\n<p>The truth is that AMC is not a turnaround story. The company has extremely diluted its shareholders in recent months in order to sustain its losses, but there's still a risk that it won't be able to financially recover due to the weak state of the industry in which it competes. Considering this, we believe that it will be hard for the company to repair its balance sheet in the current environment and there's every reason to believe that it will continue to burn cash just to stay alive. While currently, AMC has the momentum going for it, we believe that it's not going to last long due to the reasons stated above, and we might once again open a short position in the company in the upcoming days.</p>","source":"seekingalpha","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>AMC: The 'Meme Trade' Momentum Will Likely Not Last Long</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\nAMC: The 'Meme Trade' Momentum Will Likely Not Last Long\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-06-01 21:53 GMT+8 <a href=https://seekingalpha.com/article/4432251-amc-the-meme-trade-momentum-will-not-last-long><strong>seekingalpha</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>Summary\n\nThanks to the help of Reddit's Wall Street Bets community, AMC shares once again reached new record highs.\nHowever, the mounting interest expenses along with the high cost of servicing its ...</p>\n\n<a href=\"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4432251-amc-the-meme-trade-momentum-will-not-last-long\">Web Link</a>\n\n</div>\n\n\n</article>\n</div>\n</body>\n</html>\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"AMC":"AMC院线"},"source_url":"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4432251-amc-the-meme-trade-momentum-will-not-last-long","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/5a36db9d73b4222bc376d24ccc48c8a4","article_id":"1126529318","content_text":"Summary\n\nThanks to the help of Reddit's Wall Street Bets community, AMC shares once again reached new record highs.\nHowever, the mounting interest expenses along with the high cost of servicing its debt will make it hard for the current momentum to last long.\nWe believe that the current premium at which AMC trades is not justified and we might once again open a short position in the company in the upcoming days.\n\nPhoto by Tom Cooper/Getty Images Entertainment via Getty Images\nAMC Entertainment (AMC) stock has been gaining momentum in recent weeks, as traders from Reddit's Wall Street Bets community once again decided to purchase the company's shares in large quantities which drove stock prices higher, as they did so in late January. Now looks like a good time to buy a few growth stocks with great potential.","content":"<p>If you're a tech investor, you've probably seen some red in your portfolio recently. Fears over inflation have sparked a sell-off, dragging many growth stocks down in the process. Of course, it's natural to panic, but that's not very productive.\nInstead, think of this as a buying opportunity. For instance, Cloudflare (NYSE:NET) and Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) have each fallen over 20% from their 52-week highs, but both look like good long-term investments. Here's why you should consider buying these two growth stocks on the dip.\n1. Cloudflare: Cloud computing\nCloudflare is a cloud services provider that makes the internet faster, more reliable, and more secure. Its global network spans 200 cities, and supports nearly 17% of the internet as of April 2021, according to W3Techs. Those are incredible statistics, but they mean more in context. So let's look at a recent product launch.\nImage source: Getty Images.\nTraditionally, corporations have taken a castle-and-moat approach to networks: All resources were stored on-site, all employees worked in the office, and all incoming and outgoing connections were filtered through central hardware (e.g. firewall boxes, internet gateways). But this model is no longer efficient or effective, since more employees are working remotely and more enterprises rely on cloud computing.\nIn 2020, Cloudflare launched Cloudflare for Teams to solve this problem. This product is built around Cloudflare Access and Cloudflare Gateway, enabling employees to securely access corporate resources and the open internet whether they are in the office or working remotely.\nMoreover, Cloudflare's global network offers performance at a scale that would be impossible for most enterprises to achieve on their own. It also eliminates the need for costly on-site hardware. Put another way, Cloudflare for Teams is faster and cheaper than legacy network security solutions.\nBeyond this example, Cloudflare offers a range of other products -- everything from serverless computing to streaming video platforms -- all of which are designed to enhance performance and security.\nIn total, management believes the company's market opportunity will grow at 9% per year, rising from $72 billion in 2020 to $100 billion by 2024. But Cloudflare's revenue is growing much faster, meaning the company is gaining market share.\n\n\n\nMetric\n2017\nQ1 2021 (TTM)\nCAGR\n\n\n\n\nCustomers\n49,309\n119,206\n31%\n\n\nRevenue\n$135 million\n$478 million\n48%\n\n\n\nData source: Cloudflare SEC filings. TTM = trailing-12-months. CAGR = compound annual growth rate.\nGoing forward, investors should pay attention to Cloudflare's ability to maintain its momentum. The company faces competition from legacy providers like Akamai and public cloud titans like Amazon Web Services. However, Cloudflare is currently growing more quickly than both. That's why this growth stock is a buy for long-term investors.\n2. Shopify: E-commerce\nCreating an e-commerce website is complicated, especially if you're not a software developer. And managing a business is even more complicated since you need a way to process payments, manage inventory, fulfill and ship orders, and run ad campaigns.\nShopify removes all of this complexity, simplifying commerce. Using its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, anyone can easily build an online storefront and manage a business across physical and digital locations.\nImage source: Shopify.\nNot surprisingly, Shopify's business has grown at an incredible pace as e-commerce has gained traction around the world.
