What started out as a joke has enabled some to laugh all the way to the bank.
\n
On the other hand, skeptics about Dogecoin would be just as quick to note that it has given up more than 60% of its earlier gains. Anyone who jumped on the Dogecoin late is probably sitting on some hefty losses.
\n
Regardless of what your take is on Dogecoin, what really matters is where you should put your money now. One place to get some investment ideas is Robinhood's 100 most popular stocks list. Here are two popular Robinhood stocks that could crush Dogecoin going forward.
\n
\n
NVIDIA
\n
While Dogecoin has nosedived in recent months, NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has taken off. One reason why is NVIDIA's upcoming four-for-one stock split. While stock splits don't impact a company's valuation directly, they can attract greater numbers of small investors.
\n
However, there are plenty of even better reasons to like NVIDIA that have nothing to do with its stock split. The most obvious one is the company's gaming business.
\n
Gaming remains NVIDIA's biggest moneymaker, generating $2.8 billion of the company's total revenue of nearly $5.7 billion in the first quarter of 2021. And business is booming. NVIDIA's gaming revenue more than doubled year over year.
\n
It isn't just that gaming is increasing in popularity (although that is the case). NVIDIA benefits from regular hardware upgrade cycles. New games require even more processing power, which drives demand for the more powerful graphics processing units (GPUs).
\n
I especially like that NVIDIA is leveraging its gaming expertise to target new markets. For example, the company recently unveiled Omniverse Enterprise, a platform where design teams can build 3D virtual simulations and collaborate in real-time. In effect, NVIDIA is turning work into play (or vice versa, depending on how you look at it).
\n
NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress said in the company's Q1 conference call, \"As the world becomes more digital, virtual and collaborative, we see a significant revenue opportunity for Omniverse.\" I think that Kress's optimism is well-founded.
\n
Don't overlook NVIDIA's potential in the data center market, though. The company posted data center revenue of more than $2 billion in Q1, up 79% year over year. NVIDIA should enjoy sustained growth as more applications include artificial intelligence (AI).
\n
Assuming NVIDIA's pending acquisition of Arm passes regulatory hurdles, the company should further cement its leadership position in AI. In particular, the Arm deal would boost NVIDIA's presence in the fast-growing Internet of Things market with chips for mobile devices.
\n
Sure, an overall cryptocurrency crash could cause NVIDIA's shares to fall due to the popularity of the company's GPUs with crypto miners. It's happened before. However, the company has taken steps to segment its gaming business from crypto. I think that any pullback would only be temporary. NVIDIA has too many other strong growth drivers.
\n
Moderna
\n
Most companies can't honestly say that they've helped change the world. Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) can.
\n
The biotech's COVID-19 vaccine was second only to the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech to win U.S. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Moderna reported $1.9 billion in sales for the vaccine in Q1, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
\n
Based on supply agreements in place as of early May, Moderna projected that its COVID-19 vaccine would rake in sales this year of $19.2 billion. However, the company has secured additional deals since then.
\n
In just the past two weeks, Moderna has landed two new huge supply agreements. The U.S. government is buying 200 million additional doses of Moderna's COVID19 vaccine. The European Commission agreed to purchase another 150 million doses.
\n
But does Moderna's market cap of close to $90 billion already price all of this growth in? To some extent, yes. However, shares still are trading at only around 10.5 times expected earnings. That's an attractive valuation, especially for a biotech stock.
\n
The big question for Moderna is how strong the recurring revenue from its COVID-19 vaccine will be. While the sales levels of 2021 and 2022 might not be sustainable over the long run, annual vaccinations could be likely (especially with emerging coronavirus variants). I expect Moderna will be able to count on significant COVID-19 vaccine sales for years to come.
\n
Then there's the pipeline. Moderna plans to advance its cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine into late-stage testing this year. It could easily be a megablockbuster if approved. The company has a dozen other programs in clinical testing.
\n
Moderna hopes to use its newfound riches to dramatically boost its pipeline in the near future. CEO Stephane Bancel has stated that he'd like to have up to 50 clinical programs.
\n
All of Moderna's current and planned pipeline programs are based on its messenger RNA (mRNA) technology. The company has maintained for a long time that if its mRNA approach worked for one disease, it would work for many diseases. This would mark the first month of outflow for the $730 billion internet giant via the trading link with Hong Kong since May 2020.\n\nAfter rising to within a whisker of joining the trillion-dollar club earlier this year, Tencent began to slip as investors grew concerned about valuations and moves by the People’s Bank of China to reign in pandemic easy-money policies. With antitrust watchdogs probing alleged monopolistic behavior by the country’s internet titans over the past few months, the stock is now down 23% from its January record high.\nLoss of support from mainland investors, who account for almost a third of Tencent’s dailyturnover, could signal that the worst is not yet over.\nWhile the company’s sales have been boosted by increased demand for online content and services, investors have grown concerned over its profit margins due to its plans for major spending to fend off competitors such as Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and ByteDance Ltd.\n“There haven’t been many bright spots in Tencent’s fundamentals,” said Dai Ming, a fund manager at Huichen Asset Management. “The advertising segment is not beating estimates, while the online gaming business may not see as high growth as last year when China recovers from the pandemic.”\nEven with June’s exit, mainland investors still hold about 7% of Tencent’s stock, near the highest since at least March 2017.\n“The shares won’t do well when there is lack of liquidity and earnings support,” he said. “Mainland traders’ selling of Tencent is likely to continue in the second half.”","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":263,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":159620967,"gmtCreate":1624964340759,"gmtModify":1703848930180,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"To the moon","listText":"To the moon","text":"To the moon","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/159620967","repostId":"1160570020","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":251,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":120060270,"gmtCreate":1624288513490,"gmtModify":1703832634704,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oh","listText":"Oh","text":"Oh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/120060270","repostId":"1132601414","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":247,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":164810145,"gmtCreate":1624190640287,"gmtModify":1703830380681,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Toys is futur","listText":"Toys is futur","text":"Toys is futur","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/164810145","repostId":"1197466929","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1197466929","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1624028051,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1197466929?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-18 22:54","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Toy companies are keeping an eye on China shipping delays as key holiday season nears","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1197466929","media":"cnbc","summary":"There may be fewer boxes under the tree this holiday season, as toymakers grapple with thepossibilit","content":"
\n
There may be fewer boxes under the tree this holiday season, as toymakers grapple with thepossibility of a massive shortagein everything from dolls and action figures to vehicles and puzzles.\nThe ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; With shipping containers scarce — or worse, more than double pre-pandemic prices — toymakers are faced with tough decisions ahead of the industry's most important sales season.\n\"We're not seeing any panic yet about the flow of holiday goods,\" said Jefferies analyst Stephanie Wissink.\nWissink noted that toy companies are just entering the ramp-up period of production for toys that ship in September and October for the holidays.\n\"If we see persistent constraints into late-summer, then we will start to worry a bit more,\" she said.\nCurrently, the industry is seeing delays of two-to-three weeks, Wissink said. This is consistent with a report from Davidson analyst Linda Bolton Weiser that was published Friday, although Weiser said delays could be as long as a month.\nWeiser told CNBC that the toy industry has faced shipping challenges in the past and persevered. She noted that several years ago, there was a workers strike at the Port of Los Angeles that threatened holiday sales.\n\"Toy stocks tanked, but [Christmas] went off without a hitch,\" she said. \"Toy companies were able to get their toys loaded on the tops of freighters and unloaded the fastest.\"\nWeiser said her most recent chat with Mattel a few days ago indicated that the company was \"still quite confident about their sales growth for the year.\"\nRepresentatives forHasbroandMatteldid not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment.\nToy companies are keeping a careful eye on developments overseas, hoping that pressure on the ports will loosen as vaccinations are more widely distributed globally, outbreaks are more isolated and more air traffic routes reopen.\nFor now, toy companies have not passed on additional shipping costs to the customer, Wissink said. However, there is always a possibility that this could change if the shipping situation does not alleviate.\n\"We note that holiday purchases are very much oriented toward gifting so price sensitivity is somewhat less,\" she said. \"That said, consumers will notice if there's a dramatic increase in prices, but we don't expect that at this stage.\"\nBoth Mattel and Habro shares were recently trading down more than 1% on Friday. Mattel's stock has gained nearly 9% since January, putting its market value at $6.64 billion. Hasbro's stock is down 3% year to date, which puts its market value at $12.5 billion.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":228,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":164837608,"gmtCreate":1624190479304,"gmtModify":1703830378562,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Go tesla","listText":"Go tesla","text":"Go tesla","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/164837608","repostId":"2144218770","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2144218770","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1624060559,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2144218770?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-19 07:55","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Ex-Tesla president sold stocks worth $247 million since June 10-SEC filing","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2144218770","media":"Reuters","summary":"BERKELEY, Calif., June 18 (Reuters) - Long-time Tesla Inc executive and president Jerome Guillen, wh","content":"
BERKELEY, Calif., June 18 (Reuters) - Long-time Tesla Inc executive and president Jerome Guillen, who left the company earlier in June, has sold an estimated $274 million worth of shares after exercising stock options since June 10, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission $(SEC.UK)$.
\n
The filing, which was submitted to the SEC on Tuesday, said that Guillen expected to sell 215,718 shares for $129 million that day, and that he offloaded another 145,289 stocks worth $89.6 million on June 14, and 90,111 stocks worth $55 million on June 10.
\n
\"It could raise some eyebrows for investors,\" Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives said, adding that investors are going to watch closely to see if he sells more.
\n
Guillen, a former Mercedes engineer who was with Tesla since 2010, oversaw the company's entire vehicles business before being named president of the Tesla Heavy Trucking unit in March. With shipping containers scarce — or worse, more than double pre-pandemic prices — toymakers are faced with tough decisions ahead of the industry's most important sales season.\n\"We're not seeing any panic yet about the flow of holiday goods,\" said Jefferies analyst Stephanie Wissink.\nWissink noted that toy companies are just entering the ramp-up period of production for toys that ship in September and October for the holidays.\n\"If we see persistent constraints into late-summer, then we will start to worry a bit more,\" she said.\nCurrently, the industry is seeing delays of two-to-three weeks, Wissink said. Hasbro's stock is down 3% year to date, which puts its market value at $12.5 billion.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":228,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":159620967,"gmtCreate":1624964340759,"gmtModify":1703848930180,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"To the moon","listText":"To the moon","text":"To the moon","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/159620967","repostId":"1160570020","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1160570020","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1624958500,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1160570020?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-29 17:21","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla Owners Are Open to Other Options. That is a positive factor for the company and its stock, but ","content":"
Tesla brand loyalty is off the charts. That is a positive factor for the company and its stock, but it could change as more electric vehicles roll off assembly lines from competing auto makers.
\n
Tesla bulls will have to expect some customers to try other EVs. Just how much loss of brand loyalty it would take to dent the stock isn’t easy to decipher.
\n
Still, it helps to know where Tesla (ticker: TSLA) is starting. The numbers are impressive. Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi surveyed about 450 Tesla owners recently and found that 79% are “very likely” to buy another Tesla.
\n
Almost 80% is incredibly high.Toyota Motor‘s (TM) Lexus brand, for comparison, led the 2020 J.D. Powers luxury brand loyalty report with 48% of Lexus owners replacing their prior car with another Lexus. There is some difference between “very likely” in Sacconaghi’s survey and the J.D. Powers data, which is based on actual transactions, but Tesla’s brand still looks very strong.
\n
Among mass-market brands,Subaru and Toyota ranked highest in the 2020 J.D. Powers report, with repurchase rates of about 61% and 60%.
\n
Tesla wasn’t included in the 2020 J.D. Powers report. J.D. Powers wasn’t immediately available to comment on why, but the company only recently began selling cars in large volumes, and many Tesla owners have only had their cars for a few years, so relatively few of them may have replaced their vehicles.
\n
Importantly, the Tesla results are below the numbers Sacconaghi found in 2017 and 2019. In 2017, 82% of Tesla owners said they would replace their vehicle with another Tesla. The number in the 2019 survey was 89%.
\n

\n
He attributes the decline to a pair of factors. First, Tesla owners have had their cars longer than in the prior survey, so any initial euphoria may have worn off. Second, there are more EVs to pick from. More than half of the respondents said they would consider an EV from a European luxury brand.
\n
China is a potential problem for Tesla, the data indicate, although only 32 owners were surveyed there. Sacconaghi found 50% of Tesla owners planned to replace their vehicle with another Tesla and 35% said they were unlikely to do so.
\n
China is the world’s largest market for new cars and new EVs, so brand loyalty there matters. Tesla recently recalled almost all the cars it has produced in China to update software related to its cruise-control feature. While officially categorized as a recall, the Tesla vehicles don’t have to go into a service department. The problem will be fixed with an over-the-air software update.
\n
Sacconaghi qualifies as a Tesla bear. He rates the shares at Sell and has a target of $180 for the price, far below the average of about $620 among analysts. Overall, about 43% of analysts covering Tesla stock rate shares Buy. The average Buy-rating ratio for stocks in the S&P 500 is about 55%.
\n
Tesla stock was up 2.5% at $688.72 on Monday. As of the close on Friday, the stock was down about 5% year to date, leaving it well behind the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average. The stock is up more than 250% over the past year.
","source":"lsy1601382232898","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Tesla Owners Are Open to Other Options. That is a positive factor for the company and its stock, but it could change as more electric vehicles roll off assembly lines from competing auto makers.\nTesla bulls will have to expect some customers to try other EVs. Just how much loss of brand loyalty it would take to dent the stock isn’t easy to decipher.\nStill, it helps to know where Tesla (ticker: TSLA) is starting. The numbers are impressive. Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi surveyed about 450 Tesla owners recently and found that 79% are “very likely” to buy another Tesla.\nAlmost 80% is incredibly high.Toyota Motor‘s (TM) Lexus brand, for comparison, led the 2020 J.D. Powers luxury brand loyalty report with 48% of Lexus owners replacing their prior car with another Lexus. There is some difference between “very likely” in Sacconaghi’s survey and the J.D. Powers data, which is based on actual transactions, but Tesla’s brand still looks very strong.\nAmong mass-market brands,Subaru and Toyota ranked highest in the 2020 J.D. Powers report, with repurchase rates of about 61% and 60%.\nTesla wasn’t included in the 2020 J.D. Powers report. J.D. Powers wasn’t immediately available to comment on why, but the company only recently began selling cars in large volumes, and many Tesla owners have only had their cars for a few years, so relatively few of them may have replaced their vehicles.\nImportantly, the Tesla results are below the numbers Sacconaghi found in 2017 and 2019. In 2017, 82% of Tesla owners said they would replace their vehicle with another Tesla. The number in the 2019 survey was 89%.\n\nHe attributes the decline to a pair of factors. First, Tesla owners have had their cars longer than in the prior survey, so any initial euphoria may have worn off. Second, there are more EVs to pick from. More than half of the respondents said they would consider an EV from a European luxury brand.\nChina is a potential problem for Tesla, the data indicate, although only 32 owners were surveyed there. Sacconaghi found 50% of Tesla owners planned to replace their vehicle with another Tesla and 35% said they were unlikely to do so.\nChina is the world’s largest market for new cars and new EVs, so brand loyalty there matters. Tesla recently recalled almost all the cars it has produced in China to update software related to its cruise-control feature. While officially categorized as a recall, the Tesla vehicles don’t have to go into a service department. The problem will be fixed with an over-the-air software update.\nSacconaghi qualifies as a Tesla bear. He rates the shares at Sell and has a target of $180 for the price, far below the average of about $620 among analysts. Overall, about 43% of analysts covering Tesla stock rate shares Buy. The average Buy-rating ratio for stocks in the S&P 500 is about 55%.\nTesla stock was up 2.5% at $688.72 on Monday. As of the close on Friday, the stock was down about 5% year to date, leaving it well behind the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average. The stock is up more than 250% over the past year.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":251,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":159629739,"gmtCreate":1624964443521,"gmtModify":1703848936487,"author":{"id":"3580037514664620","authorId":"3580037514664620","name":"Lisefoo","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580037514664620","authorIdStr":"3580037514664620"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nvidia ","listText":"Nvidia ","text":"Nvidia","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/159629739","repostId":"2146388793","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2146388793","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1624959775,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2146388793?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-29 17:42","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Robinhood Stocks That Could Crush Dogecoin","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2146388793","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"They're already big winners but could have much more room to run.","content":"
Dogecoin (CRYPTO:DOGE) fans would be quick to point out that the cryptocurrency has skyrocketed more than 4,500% year to date.
