Each firm may have lost its way, but valuations are starting to become absurd.Boeing Boeing has done nothing but nosedive over the past year. Shares collapsed from around $250 per share to $150 and change per share. The list of problems continues to grow for Boeing, with the abysmal quarterly earnings and an Air Force One deal that has CEO David Calhoun sounding regretful.Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Air Force One deal is haunting Boeing to this day. With operational hiccups delaying deliveries for select aircraft, it seems like nothing can go right for the aircraft maker.Though Calhoun doesn’t yet plan to retire, a major shift at the upper level may be required to get Boeing back on the right track.Although Boeing can’t seem to get any wind beneath its wings, demand is likely to remain, given the duopolistic market it operates in.With a potential recession underway, Boeing seems like a lost cause. Still, the valuation is severely depressed, and being a member of a duopoly has its perks.Wall Street analysts are standing by Boeing amid its freefall, with a Strong Buy rating and an average BA stock price target of $228, implying 51.5% upside from current levels.Intel Intel is another company that’s lost its way. The once-cherished semi company fell behind in the chip race, and it could struggle to catch up. Though Intel has a new CEO Patrick Gelsinger, and a strategic multi-year plan to regain the lead in chips, questions linger as to whether the firm can execute. The firm could face an uphill battle as it looks to keep pace with Apple, and its M-series line of chips.Intel’s 14th-generation Meteor Lake chip is slated to launch in 2023. By then, Apple may have already raised the performance bar.The stakes are high, and investors don’t seem to be giving Intel the benefit of the doubt. Why should they? The chip space is fiercely competitive, and the global chip shortage complicates things greatly.Though long-term global chip demand is a positive for chip makers as a whole, one can’t help but worry that Intel may have to resort to discounting, given rivals could raise the bar to heights that could prove difficult to reach.Wall Street analysts aren’t so convinced with Intel, even after its drop. It has a Hold rating, and an average INTC stock price target of $51.10, implying just 14.6% upside from current levels.AT&T AT&T is an old-time telecom titan that’s on the right side of 5G tailwinds. After spinning off its media businesses, management now has the opportunity to revamp growth in wireless. For the first quarter, wireless growth was remarkable. The company is starting to do a lot of things right, and narrowing its focus is an effort that could allow T stock to break out of its funk.Though wireless numbers are gaining traction, the implications of a recession on such growth are less clear. In any case, the company seems like it’s ready to continue swimming forward. With media out of the equation, the new AT&T is arguably the best version of itself we’ve seen in decades. Its investments in next-gen telecom infrastructure will slowly pay meaningful dividends with time.Still, the major question mark with AT&T is its considerable debt load. Even after spinning off the media assets, the company’s debt-to-equity ratio is on the high end at over one. As rates rise, so too will AT&T’s costs of borrowing, making the telecom scene somewhat less attractive than it used to be.In any case, management continues to execute.Wall Street analysts are mildly optimistic, with a Moderate Buy rating and an average T stock price target of $22.50, implying 12.8% upside from current levels.ConclusionBlue-chip stocks are feeling the selling pressure these days. The following blue chips may have lost their way, but with plans to regain dominance, the risk/reward may be getting too good to ignore.Of the three, Wall Street analysts are most bullish on Boeing, and the least bullish on Intel. I’m inclined to agree with analysts. Boeing stock seems to be the best of the batch.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":309,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9061268134,"gmtCreate":1651629086589,"gmtModify":1676534939380,"author":{"id":"3580787473671909","authorId":"3580787473671909","name":"Edwin888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3c6b2055e830c53d17c3d9e054665041","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580787473671909","authorIdStr":"3580787473671909"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy buy buy bigbigbig","listText":"Buy buy buy bigbigbig","text":"Buy buy buy bigbigbig","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9061268134","repostId":"2232782288","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2232782288","pubTimestamp":1651626044,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2232782288?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-05-04 09:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Deeply Discounted Stocks That Can Turn $300,000 Into $1 Million by 2030","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2232782288","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These growth and value stocks are bargains that opportunistic investors shouldn't pass up.","content":"

Whether you're a brand-new investor or someone who's been putting their money to work on Wall Street for decades, you've learned, or been reminded of, one of investing's most valuable lessons: Stocks don't go up in a straight line.

Since the year began, both the iconic Dow Jones Industrial Average and benchmark S&P 500 have entered correction territory (i.e., lost at least 10% of their value). Meanwhile, the technology-driven Nasdaq Composite has tumbled as much as 23%, which places it squarely in a bear market.

Although big declines in the major indexes can be scary, they're the optimal time for opportunistic long-term investors to strike. After all, every major decline throughout history has eventually been erased by a bull market rally. Being patient and piling into high-quality companies that are trading at a discount is a moneymaking strategy far more often than not.

If you have $300,000 at the ready and your investing horizon is measured in years, the following three deeply discounted stocks have all the tools necessary to turn your initial investment into $1 million, if not more, by 2030.

PubMatic

What if I told you that growth stocks can be deeply discounted value stocks, too? That's precisely the case with cloud-based programmatic ad-tech company PubMatic.

Since hitting its all-time intra-day high in March 2021 of nearly $77, shares of PubMatic have retraced 70%. Historically high inflation and the potential for substantially higher interest rates have quelled investor demand for ad-dependent companies. But in spite of this shortsighted thinking, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about this company's future.

To start with, advertising revenue has been consistently shifting from print to digital formats. PubMatic is a sell-side provider, which in simpler terms means it places digital ads in available display space for publishing companies. As more ad dollars move to video, mobile, and connected TV formats, PubMatic should see its slice of the global digital ad spending pie grow.

Something to note about PubMatic is that it's been growing at a much quicker pace than the industry average. Even with the pandemic accelerating the shift of ad dollars to digital channels, global digital ad spend is "only" growing by a little over 10% annually. By comparison, PubMatic delivered a 49% organic growth rate in 2021, and is expected by Wall Street to generate annual sales growth of around 25% in 2022 and 2023.

Not only is PubMatic rapidly growing its topline, but it's beginning to realize economies of scale from its internally developed cloud infrastructure. Since it doesn't have to rely on third parties, PubMatic's gross margins are climbing. Over time, this should allow the company's earnings growth to outpace its already robust sales growth.

Even though PubMatic's forward-year price-to-earnings ratio is 26, I'd estimate its price-to-earnings-growth ratio (PEG ratio) at about 1, based on Wall Street's forecast revenue growth. Historically, tech stocks with a PEG ratio of 1 or less are considered undervalued. This should give PubMatic a good chance to turn $300,000 into $1 million in eight years or less.

Lovesac

Yet another deeply discounted stock that also happens to be growing rapidly is small-cap furniture retailer Lovesac.

Generally, the furniture industry is slow-growing and borderline boring. In other words, it's an industry ripe for disruption, which is exactly what Lovesac brings to the table. There are two key aspects of Lovesac that give investors the potential to turn $300,000 into $1 million by the turn of the decade, if not sooner.

The first key differentiator for Lovesac is the company's furniture -- more specifically, its core product, the "sactional." Sactionals are modular couches that can be rearranged dozens of ways to work with virtually any living space. In fiscal 2022, nearly 88% of Lovesac's sales derived from sactionals.

In addition to being functional, sactionals offer an incredible amount of choice. There are multiple upgrade options, including built-in charging stations and high-end speaker systems, as well as over 200 cover options. This means sactionals will match any color or theme of a home.

If you need one more reason why sactionals are so popular, consider this: the yarn used in sactionals is made entirely from recycled plastic water bottles. The company's core customer base (millennials in their mid-to-late 30s) cares deeply about the environment, and Lovesac has responded by producing ecofriendly furniture.

The second differentiator for Lovesac is its omnichannel sales platform. Lovesac was able to shift nearly half of its sales online during the pandemic, which meant it wasn't hurt nearly as bad as traditional furniture stores by a reduction in foot traffic. By promoting direct-to-consumer sales, and leaning on partnerships and pop-up showrooms, Lovesac has significantly reduced its overhead expenses, relative to its competition.

Shares of Lovesac can be purchased for a little over 10 times Wall Street's forecast earnings for fiscal 2024. That's incredibly inexpensive for a company slated to grow sales by 31% in fiscal 2023 and 22% in fiscal 2024.

Qorvo

A third deeply discounted stock that can turn $300,000 into $1 million by 2030 and is begging to be bought by value investors is semiconductor solutions provider Qorvo.

Over the past 10 months, shares of Qorvo are lower by 45%. Similar to PubMatic, fears over inflation, rising interest rates, and the possibility of a recession, have substantially compressed the valuation multiples of traditionally cyclical companies like Qorvo. But at some point valuation compression no longer makes sense. I believe that's where we are with Qorvo.

The clearest catalyst for this company is the 5G revolution. Over the next couple of years, telecom companies will be spending big bucks to upgrade their wireless infrastructure to handle 5G speeds. With it being about a decade since download speeds were last meaningfully improved, 5G infrastructure upgrades should lead to a multiyear smartphone replacement cycle. Since Qorvo generates most of its revenue from providing radio-frequency solutions found in next-generation smartphones, 5G is its ticket to steady high single-digit growth.

It's also worth pointing out that Qorvo is one of Apple's most-trusted suppliers. Last year, 30% of Qorvo's revenue came from Apple. With Counterpoint's data showing that Apple controlled 56% of U.S. smartphone market share in the fourth quarter of 2021, Qorvo looks poised to benefit from iPhone innovation for a long time to come.

Investors shouldn't discount ancillary growth opportunities, either. Even though Qorvo is dependent on smartphones for growth, it does offer advanced antenna solutions in next-gen vehicles, as well as intelligent motor controllers in battery-powered bicycles and scooters.

Shares of Qorvo can be purchased by patient investors for less than 9 times Wall Street's forecast earnings for 2023. That's one heck of a bargain for a company poised to steadily grow over time.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Deeply Discounted Stocks That Can Turn $300,000 Into $1 Million by 2030
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Deeply Discounted Stocks That Can Turn $300,000 Into $1 Million by 2030\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-05-04 09:00 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Whether you're a brand-new investor or someone who's been putting their money to work on Wall Street for decades, you've learned, or been reminded of, one of investing's most valuable lessons: Stocks ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"BK4533":"AQR资本管理(全球第二大对冲基金)","AAPL":"苹果","BK4515":"5G概念","BK4553":"喜马拉雅资本持仓","QRVO":"Qorvo, Inc.","BK4534":"瑞士信贷持仓","BK4571":"数字音乐概念","BK4507":"流媒体概念","BK4576":"AR","BK4527":"明星科技股","BK4575":"芯片概念","BK4566":"资本集团","BK4550":"红杉资本持仓","BK4559":"巴菲特持仓","BK4501":"段永平概念","BK4579":"人工智能","LOVE":"Lovesac Co.","BK4554":"元宇宙及AR概念","BK4574":"无人驾驶","PUBM":"PubMatic, Inc.","BK4573":"虚拟现实","BK4505":"高瓴资本持仓","BK4581":"高盛持仓","BK4512":"苹果概念","BK4532":"文艺复兴科技持仓"},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/05/01/3-discounted-stocks-turn-300000-to-1-million-2030/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"2232782288","content_text":"Whether you're a brand-new investor or someone who's been putting their money to work on Wall Street for decades, you've learned, or been reminded of, one of investing's most valuable lessons: Stocks don't go up in a straight line.Since the year began, both the iconic Dow Jones Industrial Average and benchmark S&P 500 have entered correction territory (i.e., lost at least 10% of their value). GM stock is down over 30% year-to-date (YTD), exacerbated by semiconductor shortages, inflation and rising interest rates. In an interview with Yahoo!, CEO Mary Barra admitted, “We are still seeing some constraints in products.” In addition, Barra expects the semiconductor shortage to “last into 2023.”

Despite the supply chain threats, CFO Paul Jacobson believes that now is the time to buy GM stock.

CEO Paul Jacobson Buys GM Stock

According to a Form 4filing, Jacobson bought 35,000 shares on April 28 at an average price of $38.79. GM stock is down over 30% year-to-date (YTD), exacerbated by semiconductor shortages, inflation and rising interest rates. In an interview with Yahoo!, CEO Mary Barra admitted, “We are still seeing some constraints in products.” In addition, Barra expects the semiconductor shortage to “last into 2023.”Despite the supply chain threats, CFO Paul Jacobson believes that now is the time to buy GM stock.CEO Paul Jacobson Buys GM StockAccording to a Form 4filing, Jacobson bought 35,000 shares on April 28 at an average price of $38.79. In total, the purchase amounted to $1.35 million. That’s no pocket change. Now, Jacobson directly owns a total of 110,000 shares of his own company. Furthermore, the purchase was not enacted via a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan. Most insiders utilize a 10b5-1 plan to avoid accusations of insider trading using material, non-public information.Jacobson is undoubtedly bullish on the future potential of GM, as evidenced by his recent purchase. The company currently has plans to take market share of the electric vehicle (EV) industry, as well as the electric boat industry.According to Nasdaq, GM insiders have made nine open market buys and 28 sales in the past 12 months. In the past year, insiders have purchased 931,282 shares while selling 1.08 million shares. In total, insiders have accounted for net activity of 150,522 shares sold. What’s Next for General Motors?GM has ambitious plans for the upcoming decade. In the next few years, the company plans on investing $35 billion into EV development. Meanwhile, GM currently has a production output capacity of 400,000 EVs per year for 2022 and 2023. By 2025, GM plans on releasing 30 new EV models. The launch of the upcoming Silverado EV may be a positive catalyst for GM. GM already has more than 140,000 reservations for the EV, which will be powered by its Ultium platform. The proprietary platform can accommodate a wide range of vehicles, such as trucks, SUVs and crossovers. Meanwhile, the Ultium battery promises to provide up to 450 miles of range on a single charge.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":232,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9061175945,"gmtCreate":1651592076404,"gmtModify":1676534932534,"author":{"id":"3580787473671909","authorId":"3580787473671909","name":"Edwin888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3c6b2055e830c53d17c3d9e054665041","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580787473671909","authorIdStr":"3580787473671909"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Streamin..high capex and vry competitive biz","listText":"Streamin..high capex and vry competitive biz","text":"Streamin..high capex and vry competitive biz","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9061175945","repostId":"2232611035","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":281,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9061172584,"gmtCreate":1651591991458,"gmtModify":1676534932526,"author":{"id":"3580787473671909","authorId":"3580787473671909","name":"Edwin888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3c6b2055e830c53d17c3d9e054665041","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580787473671909","authorIdStr":"3580787473671909"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Gogogo","listText":"Gogogo","text":"Gogogo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9061172584","repostId":"1164519411","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1164519411","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1651586615,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1164519411?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-05-03 22:03","market":"us","language":"en","title":"EV Stocks Climbed in Morning Trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1164519411","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"EV stocks climbed in morning trading. It remains the king of consumer tech, and plenty of investors are using the pullback as a buying opportunity.
\n
Before you follow suit, however, take a step back and look at the bigger dynamic. The Dow's three biggest losers in May are not only the names most likely to benefit from a post-pandemic reopening, they're also the same very names that have led the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES:^DJI) higher over the course of the past several months. To see these leaders suddenly turn into laggards is a hint of a big shift in investor sentiment that just might work against the broad market for a while.
\n
From leaders to laggards
\n
Although the Dow advanced 2% last month, Apple, Visa, and Disney shares fell 5%, 4%, and 3%, respectively, in May, holding the Dow Jones Industrial Average back more than any of the other names that make up the index. But all the figures are fairly modest.
\n
\n
Read between the lines, though: Something's changed.
\n
Sure, you could argue that Disney's disappointing subscriber growth for its Disney+ streaming service is the culprit for its weakness. The thing is, Disney shares were already peeling back from their March peak when that news hit last month. Visa's rally lasted all the way through its late-April peak at a record high of $237.50 before it began to weaken, largely in response to last quarter's results. While hardly horrifying, the 2% slide of its top and bottom lines loosely suggests whatever reopening benefit the payment company is going to reap has already been mostly reaped. And as for Apple, its all-time peak came all the way back in January. While its fiscal second-quarter numbers posted at the end of April were nothing less than stellar (sales were up 54% year over year to reach a new Q2 record), the market chose to see the proverbial glass as half empty rather than half full. The company also says it's feeling the impact of the chip shortage.
\n
Yet none of these are the sorts of challenges that would have dragged these stocks lower in the recent past. To see three of the Dow's very best performers start to lag simultaneously is telling, not so much about these three companies, but about investors' broad perceptions of the market's current health.
\n
Right on cue
\n
And curiously, these clues are taking shape exactly when you'd expect them to.
\n
While most long-term investors shouldn't be timing their entries and exits to correspond with what looks like the market's lows and highs, it would be naive to ignore how the major indexes entered this year's \"sell in May\" period well above where they'd normally be. As of the end of April the S&P 500 was up 11.5% from the end of 2020, when it would normally be up on the order of 3.4%. The CEO, co-founder, and ace stock picker for the Ark Invest family of exchange-traded funds (Pacer Swan SOS Fund of Funds ETF|ETFs) stood pat on her buying urges. She lightened a few positions last week, but she failed to execute a buy order in any of the final three trading days of last week.

The streak ended on Monday. Shopify, Twilio, and Adaptive Biotechnologies are the three stocks that Ark Invest bought. What does Wood see in these three fast-growing companies? Let's take a closer look.

Shopify

It's been a rough few months for Shopify investors. The fast-growing e-commerce specialist has seen its stock plunge more than 60% since peaking in November. Shopify stock came back to life with last week's market rally in growth stocks, but a 12% slide on Monday to kick off this new trading week shows that shareholders are still looking to take profits following sharp upticks.

Revenue growth is slowing at Shopify. Its top line surged 86% in 2020, slowing to a 57% pace in 2021. Growth has decelerated sharply the last three quarters. Shopify itself was vague about its guidance, but analysts are holding out for a 31% increase in 2022. Shopify continues to stand out for its ability to arm merchants of all sizes with the tools to establish an online presence that plays nice with most popular e-commerce and social media platforms.

Twilio

There is a lot to like about Twilio, the undisputed leader of in-app communication solutions. Twilio's cloud-based tools help many of the most popular apps be more effective by providing two-way communication with users -- for everything from service notifications to verification -- without having to leave an app.

It's growing briskly. Revenue rose 61% in 2021, including a 54% year-over-year uptick for its latest quarter. Acquisitions have helped pad Twilio's growth over the years. Organic revenue rose a more modest 44% clip last year if you back out the bump in political election season revenue from late 2020, but the appeal of the platform remains strong. Retention rates are still healthy, and Twilio continues to successfully expand its offerings.

Adaptive Biotechnologies

It's been a rough year for Adaptive Biotechnologies. Its CFO resigned in January, and earlier this month the biotech upstart announced that it would be laying off 12% of its staff. The reorganization is part of Adaptive narrowing the focus of its immune system genetic sequencing technology to key in on minimal residual disease and immune medicine.

The stock has been cut by more than half so far in 2022, and it's down 82% since peaking 14 months ago. The technology is promising, and Adaptive Biotechnologies is one of the stocks that Wood was buying earlier last week before she took a three-day break from purchases. Analysts don't see the company turning a profit for several more years, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker for biotech stocks as long as they have the liquidity in place to hold out for a medical breakthrough.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Cathie Wood Goes Bargain Hunting: 3 Stocks She Just Bought
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nCathie Wood Goes Bargain Hunting: 3 Stocks She Just Bought\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-03-23 23:30 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Cathie Wood did an interesting thing last week as stocks were rallying.
