In five years through to 2021, Ng’s companies received fresh funds from investors of about S$1.46 billion, according to an interim judicial managers’ report in May seen by Bloomberg.</p>\n<p>DBS Charge</p>\n<p>Ng was also charged with a criminal breach of trust by “dishonestly misappropriating a sum of at least S$201 million” from Envy Global Trading’s DBS Bank account, the documents show.</p>\n<p>Declining to comment on the Ng and Envy case specifically due to the ongoing investigations, a representative for DBS said the bank maintains “robust systems and controls to identify and report suspicious transactions. The cruise line moved higher despite having to remove two young passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 along with their families on the first test cruise of its <i>Adventure of the Seas</i> ship.</li>\n <li>Steelcase moved 9% higher. The office furniture specialist moved higher after posting better-than-expected quarterly results.</li>\n <li>Finally we have Osprey Bitcoin Trust slipping 6%. The crypto market continues to correct, and the single-asset trust continues to trade at a steep premium to its net assets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The three stocks averaged a 2.3% increase for the week. The <b>S&P 500</b> rose 2.7%, so I actually won this week. Right now, I see <b>Norwegian Cruise Line</b> (NYSE:NCLH), <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/WBA\">Walgreens Boots Alliance</a></b> (NASDAQ:WBA), and Osprey Bitcoin Trust as vulnerable investments in the near term. Here's why I think these are three stocks to avoid this week.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1097179481e56c16510cda0caeedd0eb\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\"><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p>\n<h2>1. Norwegian Cruise Line</h2>\n<p>Last week's costly extraction of a pair of passengers with the COVID-19 virus should be concerning to folks who want to start sailing again. Having unvaccinated passengers hitting exotic ports-of-call in impoverished islands that are not as far along in the recovery cycle is going to make for a long recovery.</p>\n<p>Norwegian Cruise Line is the smallest of the three major cruise line operators, and it's also the most susceptible to any future setbacks. With the cruise line stocks already commanding pre-pandemic enterprise values, there isn't a lot of upside if things go right -- and plenty of downside if things go wrong.</p>\n<h2><b>2. Walgreens Boots Alliance</b></h2>\n<p>There aren't a lot of companies stepping up with fresh quarterly results this week. One that stands out as potentially problematic is Walgreens Boots Alliance. The drugstore chain and provider of pharmacy services reports on Thursday morning.</p>\n<p>Analysts aren't holding out for much. They see $33.76 billion in revenue for the fiscal third quarter, a 3% decline over the past year. Wall Street pros are holding out for a profit of $1.17 a share, but that's exactly what they were forecasting for last year's fiscal third quarter. Walgreens wound up earning just $0.71 a share. That was a crazy quarter in the wake of the pandemic, but Walgreens Boots Alliance has fallen short of analyst profit targets in two of the past four quarters.</p>\n<p>It's also not a good sign that drugstore rival <b>Rite Aid</b> (NYSE:RAD) plummeted 19% last week after posting disappointing quarterly results. Rite Aid -- which sold a bunch of its stores to Walgreens three years ago -- topped expectations, but its guidance proved to be problematic. Walgreens Boots Alliance has a lot to prove this week.</p>\n<h2>3. Osprey Bitcoin Trust</h2>\n<p>You should never pay more than you have to for something, and that's my beef with Osprey Bitcoin Trust, a small exchange-traded trust that owns nothing but <b>Bitcoin</b> (CRYPTO:BTC). Crypto has been falling out of favor in recent weeks, but Osprey Bitcoin Trust hasn't tumbled as hard.</p>\n<p>Over the past three weeks we've seen Osprey Bitcoin Trust's premium increase from 12% to 18% to 26% to what is now 30%. Osprey Bitcoin Trust closed at $14.22 last week. It only owns $10.97 a share in Bitcoin. The cruise line moved higher despite having to remove two young passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 along with their families on the first test cruise of its Adventure of the Seas ship.\nSteelcase moved 9% higher. The office furniture specialist moved higher after posting better-than-expected quarterly results.\nFinally we have Osprey Bitcoin Trust slipping 6%. The crypto market continues to correct, and the single-asset trust continues to trade at a steep premium to its net assets.\n\nThe three stocks averaged a 2.3% increase for the week. The S&P 500 rose 2.7%, so I actually won this week. Right now, I see Norwegian Cruise Line (NYSE:NCLH), Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ:WBA), and Osprey Bitcoin Trust as vulnerable investments in the near term. Norwegian Cruise Line\nLast week's costly extraction of a pair of passengers with the COVID-19 virus should be concerning to folks who want to start sailing again. Having unvaccinated passengers hitting exotic ports-of-call in impoverished islands that are not as far along in the recovery cycle is going to make for a long recovery.\nNorwegian Cruise Line is the smallest of the three major cruise line operators, and it's also the most susceptible to any future setbacks. With the cruise line stocks already commanding pre-pandemic enterprise values, there isn't a lot of upside if things go right -- and plenty of downside if things go wrong.\n2. Walgreens Boots Alliance\nThere aren't a lot of companies stepping up with fresh quarterly results this week. One that stands out as potentially problematic is Walgreens Boots Alliance. The drugstore chain and provider of pharmacy services reports on Thursday morning.\nAnalysts aren't holding out for much. They see $33.76 billion in revenue for the fiscal third quarter, a 3% decline over the past year. Wall Street pros are holding out for a profit of $1.17 a share, but that's exactly what they were forecasting for last year's fiscal third quarter. Walgreens wound up earning just $0.71 a share. That was a crazy quarter in the wake of the pandemic, but Walgreens Boots Alliance has fallen short of analyst profit targets in two of the past four quarters.\nIt's also not a good sign that drugstore rival Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) plummeted 19% last week after posting disappointing quarterly results. Rite Aid -- which sold a bunch of its stores to Walgreens three years ago -- topped expectations, but its guidance proved to be problematic. Walgreens Boots Alliance has a lot to prove this week.\n3. Osprey Bitcoin Trust\nYou should never pay more than you have to for something, and that's my beef with Osprey Bitcoin Trust, a small exchange-traded trust that owns nothing but Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC). Crypto has been falling out of favor in recent weeks, but Osprey Bitcoin Trust hasn't tumbled as hard.\nOver the past three weeks we've seen Osprey Bitcoin Trust's premium increase from 12% to 18% to 26% to what is now 30%. Osprey Bitcoin Trust closed at $14.22 last week. It only owns $10.97 a share in Bitcoin. Shares of Morgan Stanley popped almost 4% in after-hours trading.\n\"Morgan Stanley has accumulated significant excess capital over the past several years and now has one of the largest capital buffers in the industry,\" CEO James Gorman said in the release. \"The action taken by the Board reflects a decision to reset our capital base consistent with the needs we have for our transformed business model.\"\nMorgan Stanley's new capital plan appeared to be among the most aggressive of the banks rushing to announce at the market close. Larger rival JPMorgan Chase boosted its dividend by 11% to $1 per share, according to the bank. JPMorgan said it \"continues to be authorized\" to tap an existing share repurchase plan.\nBank of America said its dividend would rise 17% to 21 cents. In April, the bank announced a $25 billion share repurchase plan.Goldman Sachssaid it planned on boosting its dividend by 60% to $2 per share, subject to approval from the bank's board.\nWells Fargo said it plans on doubling its dividend to 20 cents a shares, subject to board approval. It also announced an $18 billion stock repurchase plan beginning in the third quarter. The firm's dividend increase was widely expected by analysts because it was one of the only banks forced to slash its payout after last year's stress test.\nMeanwhile,Citi group released a statement from CEOJane Fraserthat did not commit to any specific increases. Unlike the other firms, Citi also said its stress capital buffer requirement will increase this year, which may have reduced its ability to boost capital return. Shares of the bank dipped almost 1%.\n\"We look forward to continuing with our planned capital actions, including common dividends of at least $0.51 per share, and to continuing share repurchases, which are particularly attractive when our stock price is below tangible book value per share,\" Fraser said in the statement.\nLast week, the Federal Reserve announced that all 23 banks that took the 2021 stress test passed, with the industry \"well above\" required capital levels in a hypothetical economic downturn. While the institutions would post $474 billion in losses in this scenario, loss-cushioning capital would still be more than double the minimum required levels.\nThe test was a key milestone for American banks, coming in the year after a global pandemic threatened to put the industry through a real-life stress test. After playing a key role in the 2008 financial crisis, banks were forced to undergo the annual ritual, and had to ask regulators for permission to boost dividends and repurchase shares.\nNow banks reclaim flexibility in how they choose to dole out capital in the form of dividends and buybacks. As long as they maintain capital levels above something called the stress capital buffer, banks can make more of their own decisions. The cruise line moved higher despite having to remove two young passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 along with their families on the first test cruise of its <i>Adventure of the Seas</i> ship.</li>\n <li>Steelcase moved 9% higher. The office furniture specialist moved higher after posting better-than-expected quarterly results.</li>\n <li>Finally we have Osprey Bitcoin Trust slipping 6%. The crypto market continues to correct, and the single-asset trust continues to trade at a steep premium to its net assets.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The three stocks averaged a 2.3% increase for the week. The <b>S&P 500</b> rose 2.7%, so I actually won this week. Right now, I see <b>Norwegian Cruise Line</b> (NYSE:NCLH), <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/WBA\">Walgreens Boots Alliance</a></b> (NASDAQ:WBA), and Osprey Bitcoin Trust as vulnerable investments in the near term. Here's why I think these are three stocks to avoid this week.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1097179481e56c16510cda0caeedd0eb\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\"><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p>\n<h2>1. Norwegian Cruise Line</h2>\n<p>Last week's costly extraction of a pair of passengers with the COVID-19 virus should be concerning to folks who want to start sailing again. Having unvaccinated passengers hitting exotic ports-of-call in impoverished islands that are not as far along in the recovery cycle is going to make for a long recovery.</p>\n<p>Norwegian Cruise Line is the smallest of the three major cruise line operators, and it's also the most susceptible to any future setbacks. With the cruise line stocks already commanding pre-pandemic enterprise values, there isn't a lot of upside if things go right -- and plenty of downside if things go wrong.</p>\n<h2><b>2. Walgreens Boots Alliance</b></h2>\n<p>There aren't a lot of companies stepping up with fresh quarterly results this week. One that stands out as potentially problematic is Walgreens Boots Alliance. The drugstore chain and provider of pharmacy services reports on Thursday morning.</p>\n<p>Analysts aren't holding out for much. They see $33.76 billion in revenue for the fiscal third quarter, a 3% decline over the past year. Wall Street pros are holding out for a profit of $1.17 a share, but that's exactly what they were forecasting for last year's fiscal third quarter. Walgreens wound up earning just $0.71 a share. That was a crazy quarter in the wake of the pandemic, but Walgreens Boots Alliance has fallen short of analyst profit targets in two of the past four quarters.</p>\n<p>It's also not a good sign that drugstore rival <b>Rite Aid</b> (NYSE:RAD) plummeted 19% last week after posting disappointing quarterly results. Rite Aid -- which sold a bunch of its stores to Walgreens three years ago -- topped expectations, but its guidance proved to be problematic. Walgreens Boots Alliance has a lot to prove this week.</p>\n<h2>3. Osprey Bitcoin Trust</h2>\n<p>You should never pay more than you have to for something, and that's my beef with Osprey Bitcoin Trust, a small exchange-traded trust that owns nothing but <b>Bitcoin</b> (CRYPTO:BTC). Crypto has been falling out of favor in recent weeks, but Osprey Bitcoin Trust hasn't tumbled as hard.</p>\n<p>Over the past three weeks we've seen Osprey Bitcoin Trust's premium increase from 12% to 18% to 26% to what is now 30%. Osprey Bitcoin Trust closed at $14.22 last week. It only owns $10.97 a share in Bitcoin. The cruise line moved higher despite having to remove two young passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 along with their families on the first test cruise of its Adventure of the Seas ship.\nSteelcase moved 9% higher. The office furniture specialist moved higher after posting better-than-expected quarterly results.\nFinally we have Osprey Bitcoin Trust slipping 6%. The crypto market continues to correct, and the single-asset trust continues to trade at a steep premium to its net assets.\n\nThe three stocks averaged a 2.3% increase for the week. The S&P 500 rose 2.7%, so I actually won this week. Right now, I see Norwegian Cruise Line (NYSE:NCLH), Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ:WBA), and Osprey Bitcoin Trust as vulnerable investments in the near term. Norwegian Cruise Line\nLast week's costly extraction of a pair of passengers with the COVID-19 virus should be concerning to folks who want to start sailing again. Having unvaccinated passengers hitting exotic ports-of-call in impoverished islands that are not as far along in the recovery cycle is going to make for a long recovery.\nNorwegian Cruise Line is the smallest of the three major cruise line operators, and it's also the most susceptible to any future setbacks. With the cruise line stocks already commanding pre-pandemic enterprise values, there isn't a lot of upside if things go right -- and plenty of downside if things go wrong.\n2. Walgreens Boots Alliance\nThere aren't a lot of companies stepping up with fresh quarterly results this week. One that stands out as potentially problematic is Walgreens Boots Alliance. The drugstore chain and provider of pharmacy services reports on Thursday morning.\nAnalysts aren't holding out for much. They see $33.76 billion in revenue for the fiscal third quarter, a 3% decline over the past year. Wall Street pros are holding out for a profit of $1.17 a share, but that's exactly what they were forecasting for last year's fiscal third quarter. Walgreens wound up earning just $0.71 a share. That was a crazy quarter in the wake of the pandemic, but Walgreens Boots Alliance has fallen short of analyst profit targets in two of the past four quarters.\nIt's also not a good sign that drugstore rival Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD) plummeted 19% last week after posting disappointing quarterly results. Rite Aid -- which sold a bunch of its stores to Walgreens three years ago -- topped expectations, but its guidance proved to be problematic. Walgreens Boots Alliance has a lot to prove this week.\n3. Osprey Bitcoin Trust\nYou should never pay more than you have to for something, and that's my beef with Osprey Bitcoin Trust, a small exchange-traded trust that owns nothing but Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC). Crypto has been falling out of favor in recent weeks, but Osprey Bitcoin Trust hasn't tumbled as hard.\nOver the past three weeks we've seen Osprey Bitcoin Trust's premium increase from 12% to 18% to 26% to what is now 30%. Osprey Bitcoin Trust closed at $14.22 last week. It only owns $10.97 a share in Bitcoin. Shares of Morgan Stanley popped almost 4% in after-hours trading.\n\"Morgan Stanley has accumulated significant excess capital over the past several years and now has one of the largest capital buffers in the industry,\" CEO James Gorman said in the release. \"The action taken by the Board reflects a decision to reset our capital base consistent with the needs we have for our transformed business model.\"\nMorgan Stanley's new capital plan appeared to be among the most aggressive of the banks rushing to announce at the market close. Larger rival JPMorgan Chase boosted its dividend by 11% to $1 per share, according to the bank. JPMorgan said it \"continues to be authorized\" to tap an existing share repurchase plan.\nBank of America said its dividend would rise 17% to 21 cents. In April, the bank announced a $25 billion share repurchase plan.Goldman Sachssaid it planned on boosting its dividend by 60% to $2 per share, subject to approval from the bank's board.\nWells Fargo said it plans on doubling its dividend to 20 cents a shares, subject to board approval. It also announced an $18 billion stock repurchase plan beginning in the third quarter. The firm's dividend increase was widely expected by analysts because it was one of the only banks forced to slash its payout after last year's stress test.\nMeanwhile,Citi group released a statement from CEOJane Fraserthat did not commit to any specific increases. Unlike the other firms, Citi also said its stress capital buffer requirement will increase this year, which may have reduced its ability to boost capital return. Shares of the bank dipped almost 1%.\n\"We look forward to continuing with our planned capital actions, including common dividends of at least $0.51 per share, and to continuing share repurchases, which are particularly attractive when our stock price is below tangible book value per share,\" Fraser said in the statement.\nLast week, the Federal Reserve announced that all 23 banks that took the 2021 stress test passed, with the industry \"well above\" required capital levels in a hypothetical economic downturn. While the institutions would post $474 billion in losses in this scenario, loss-cushioning capital would still be more than double the minimum required levels.\nThe test was a key milestone for American banks, coming in the year after a global pandemic threatened to put the industry through a real-life stress test. After playing a key role in the 2008 financial crisis, banks were forced to undergo the annual ritual, and had to ask regulators for permission to boost dividends and repurchase shares.\nNow banks reclaim flexibility in how they choose to dole out capital in the form of dividends and buybacks. As long as they maintain capital levels above something called the stress capital buffer, banks can make more of their own decisions.
