This year has been full of up and downs Growth stocks that seemed to be cheap went down further. The interest rate rise punished tech stocks. Dividend stocks also stagnated or increased slightly. Energy did well early in the year but were also affected by rising rates toward the end. Learnt not to rush in and combat fear of missing out, even if it meant missing out on some opportunity. Hope that this strategy plays out. As the world recovers from covid and high energy prices stocks remained largely stable without a major recession although there was fear of a recession. China stocks got punished due to us measures.
Disney plus is catching up to netflix. Amazon prime is very cheap. Therefore if netflix does not maintain an interesting content stable, it might lose its first mover advantage.
