Extracted from a recent post from Dow Jones: "AMC's total cash and cash equivalents at the end of 2023 were $884.3 million, up from $631.5 at the end of 2022. The company's total debt including finance leases at the end of 2023 was around $4.56 billion, down from $5.01 billion at the end of 2022." I don't know about you, but I find the debt that  $AMC Entertainment(AMC)$  has landed itself into is too alarming. $4.56 billions??? Even with the upcoming sale of common stock, it can hardly cover much of the debt! To me, TICKER is more important than timing due to the following reasons: 1) Wrong ticker, company may never recover or even shut down for good. Not sure when will meme stocks like $AMC Entertainment(AMC)$ ever recover to its ATH or even mean price. Well, I guess only time will tell. 2) As the saying goes, time in the market is better than timing the market. $Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ has been hammered badly today with a plunge of ~8% due to the news of its ride-hailing rival (Ryde) filing for IPO. Personally, I felt that the overselling is overdone. Ryde filing for IPO does not result in any changes to the business outlook of Grab. Is Grab going to have a cut in revenue or lose a revenue stream just because Ryde is filing for IPO? Certainly no.
