slowing growth and a decaying margin profile.
\n
Retail velocity is declining, suggesting that Beyond Meat's pandemic arguments of limited in-stocks have faded.
\n
The stock remains width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\">Drew Angerer/Getty Images News
\n
These days, the market certainly has no shortage of expensive growth stocks that have very little substance. One stock that I think is at particular risk of crumbling further is Beyond Meat (BYND), one of the first purveyors of the faux-meat trend and one of the most recognizable brands in the space.
\n
Despite the growing appeal of plant-based meats, I continue to see huge fundamental flaws in this stock. The market seems to agree, as Beyond Meat shares have slid by roughly half relative to all-time highs around ~$200 notched last October.
\n
Data by YCharts
\n
In my view, Beyond Meat shares have even more downside left. I continue to cite that there's a \"story\" risk to Beyond Meat: plant-based meats are popular now, but are they a passing dietary fad? The list of diet fads is a long one, ranging from keto diets and paleo diets to complete-nutrient drinks like Huel. While Beyond Meat may find itself a core customer base, I view the category's growth to be limited especially with concerns that plant-based meats are unhealthy from a sodium angle.
\n
Yet there are shorter-term risks here, too. In particular, investors should be aware that Beyond Meat's growth and demand indicators have weakened in recent quarters. Profit margin slippage is another big concern, especially when the stock is still trading so expensively as a multiple of outer-year profits.
\n
The bottom line here: Beyond Meat is a spoiling stock, and I think there's little the company can do to get back on the right track.
\n
Slowing growth, decaying velocity
\n
The first thing investors should note is that Beyond Meat has missed Wall Street's expectations for three quarters in a row. It's a small wonder that the stock has landed in investors' \"penalty box\" - in a time when a reliable \"beat and raise\" cadence has become expected for growth stocks, Beyond Meat's earnings gaffes are a huge sore spot.
\n
In Beyond Meat's most recent quarter (Q1), the company saw relatively tepid 11% y/y growth to $108.2 million in revenue, missing Wall Street's expectations of $113.3 million (+17% y/y) by a huge six-point margin. As shown below, that's an even wider miss than the $2 million gap to expectations in Q4:
\n
Figure 1. Beyond Meat earnings vs. expectations
\n
Source: Seeking Alpha
\n
At a channel level, in Q1, Beyond Meat its U.S. retail sales grow by 28% y/y, but foodservice sales domestically saw a -26% y/y decline. This is concerning because throughout the March quarter, most areas and restaurants around the country had already lifted lockdown restrictions. We note that the kinds of chain locations that Beyond Meat is typically sold at, from Carls' Jr. to Dunkin' Donuts (DNKN), largely remained open during the pandemic anyway. So Beyond Meat can't really say that lockdowns and the pandemic were to blame for weaker foodservice sales: perhaps the pandemic had ended up ultimately changing consumers' menu preferences toward \"real\" meat, which is often also substantially cheaper than Beyond Meat.
\n
On the retail side, we note that Beyond Meat's velocity is dropping (a measure of how quickly inventory is selling through on store shelves). Beyond Meat argued that during the pandemic, retail sell-through was constrained by limited supply - but now, what you can see in the chart below is that retail velocity has dramatically dropped over the past four weeks. The company noted that on a year over year basis, velocity is down -18% y/y in Q1.
\n
Figure 2. Beyond Meat retail velocity
\n
Source: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation
\n
We note as well that Beyond Meat's market share growth in the retail space has slowed as well. The past four weeks only saw Beyond Meat expanding its market share by 127bps, versus 319bps over the past year.
\n
Margin decay
\n
Slowing growth isn't the only troubling indicator for Beyond Meat. The company's gross margin profile, already thin to begin with, is at risk as well. We note that in Beyond Meat's most recent quarter, gross margin slipped to 30.2%, a huge 860bps reduction from 38.8% in the year-ago quarter.
\n
Figure 3. Beyond Meat margin trends
\n
Source: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation
\n
The company cited a myriad of reasons behind the decay. The company blamed the decay on rising storage/warehousing and transportation costs, which is similar to what many other consumer products companies are citing. Even more concerning, however, the company has cited rising fixed overhead costs at its production facilities. And perhaps riskiest of all is the fact that Beyond Meat notes that unfavorable product mix and higher trade discounts have also worked to push margins down.In spite of the fact that Beyond Meat leaned in more heavily on trade discounts to grow sales, the company still saw tepid revenue growth and thinning market share gains.
\n
We note as well that Beyond Meat's adjusted EBITDA gains of $13.9 million from last Q1 turned into a -$10.8 million loss in the most recent Q1, indicating a 24-point decay in adjusted EBITDA margins. We have to wonder: is Beyond Meat structurally set up to be a profitable business?
\n
The company likes to tout the fact that it spends ~8% of its revenue on R&D as a positive signal of the brand's innovation. But the other brands shown on the company's below slide are also innovators. Food brands like Kellogg and Kraft Heinz are constantly coming up with new cereal types and new flavors of their existing foods. Beyond Meat doesn't have a sole claim to innovation in the food space - yet it's spending considerably more than its peers on R&D. When we note the fact that Beyond Meat's gross margin is only ~30% to begin with, spending a further 8% of revenue on R&D is a steep ask.
\n
Figure 4. Beyond Meat R&D spend
\n
Source: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation
\n
Valuation and key takeaways
\n
Analysts aren't really expecting Beyond Meat to generate significant profits until years down the road. As shown in the chart below, the company is only expected to pass breakeven in 2023.
\n
Figure 5. Beyond Meat earnings estimates
\n
Source: Seeking Alpha
\n
And even against 2026 earnings expectations of $5.30 per share, and even after Beyond Meat's correction from all-time highs above $200, the stock's current price at ~$125 sits at a steep 23.6x P/E ratio against earnings five years down the line.
\n
With the risks of Beyond Meat's slowing growth and unsteady gross margins, I think the chances of Beyond Meat justifying its current share price (let alone rallying substantially from current levels) are slim.
\n
Continue to avoid this stock.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; While Beyond Meat may find itself a core customer base, I view the category's growth to be limited especially with concerns that plant-based meats are unhealthy from a sodium angle.\nYet there are shorter-term risks here, too. In particular, investors should be aware that Beyond Meat's growth and demand indicators have weakened in recent quarters. Profit margin slippage is another big concern, especially when the stock is still trading so expensively as a multiple of outer-year profits.\nThe bottom line here: Beyond Meat is a spoiling stock, and I think there's little the company can do to get back on the right track.\nSlowing growth, decaying velocity\nThe first thing investors should note is that Beyond Meat has missed Wall Street's expectations for three quarters in a row. It's a small wonder that the stock has landed in investors' \"penalty box\" - in a time when a reliable \"beat and raise\" cadence has become expected for growth stocks, Beyond Meat's earnings gaffes are a huge sore spot.\nIn Beyond Meat's most recent quarter (Q1), the company saw relatively tepid 11% y/y growth to $108.2 million in revenue, missing Wall Street's expectations of $113.3 million (+17% y/y) by a huge six-point margin. As shown below, that's an even wider miss than the $2 million gap to expectations in Q4:\nFigure 1. Beyond Meat earnings vs. expectations\nSource: Seeking Alpha\nAt a channel level, in Q1, Beyond Meat its U.S. retail sales grow by 28% y/y, but foodservice sales domestically saw a -26% y/y decline. So Beyond Meat can't really say that lockdowns and the pandemic were to blame for weaker foodservice sales: perhaps the pandemic had ended up ultimately changing consumers' menu preferences toward \"real\" meat, which is often also substantially cheaper than Beyond Meat.\nOn the retail side, we note that Beyond Meat's velocity is dropping (a measure of how quickly inventory is selling through on store shelves). Beyond Meat argued that during the pandemic, retail sell-through was constrained by limited supply - but now, what you can see in the chart below is that retail velocity has dramatically dropped over the past four weeks. The company noted that on a year over year basis, velocity is down -18% y/y in Q1.\nFigure 2. Beyond Meat retail velocity\nSource: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation\nWe note as well that Beyond Meat's market share growth in the retail space has slowed as well. The past four weeks only saw Beyond Meat expanding its market share by 127bps, versus 319bps over the past year.\nMargin decay\nSlowing growth isn't the only troubling indicator for Beyond Meat. The company's gross margin profile, already thin to begin with, is at risk as well. We note that in Beyond Meat's most recent quarter, gross margin slipped to 30.2%, a huge 860bps reduction from 38.8% in the year-ago quarter.\nFigure 3. Beyond Meat margin trends\nSource: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation\nThe company cited a myriad of reasons behind the decay. The company blamed the decay on rising storage/warehousing and transportation costs, which is similar to what many other consumer products companies are citing. Even more concerning, however, the company has cited rising fixed overhead costs at its production facilities. And perhaps riskiest of all is the fact that Beyond Meat notes that unfavorable product mix and higher trade discounts have also worked to push margins down.In spite of the fact that Beyond Meat leaned in more heavily on trade discounts to grow sales, the company still saw tepid revenue growth and thinning market share gains.\nWe note as well that Beyond Meat's adjusted EBITDA gains of $13.9 million from last Q1 turned into a -$10.8 million loss in the most recent Q1, indicating a 24-point decay in adjusted EBITDA margins. We have to wonder: is Beyond Meat structurally set up to be a profitable business?\nThe company likes to tout the fact that it spends ~8% of its revenue on R&D as a positive signal of the brand's innovation. When we note the fact that Beyond Meat's gross margin is only ~30% to begin with, spending a further 8% of revenue on R&D is a steep ask.\nFigure 4. Beyond Meat R&D spend\nSource: Beyond Meat Q1 investor presentation\nValuation and key takeaways\nAnalysts aren't really expecting Beyond Meat to generate significant profits until years down the road. As shown in the chart below, the company is only expected to pass breakeven in 2023.\nFigure 5. Beyond Meat earnings estimates\nSource: Seeking Alpha\nAnd even against 2026 earnings expectations of $5.30 per share, and even after Beyond Meat's correction from all-time highs above $200, the stock's current price at ~$125 sits at a steep 23.6x P/E ratio against earnings five years down the line.\nWith the risks of Beyond Meat's slowing growth and unsteady gross margins, I think the chances of Beyond Meat justifying its current share price (let alone rallying substantially from current levels) are slim.\nContinue to avoid this stock.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":226,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169954504,"gmtCreate":1623814042708,"gmtModify":1703820304410,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Senseonics(SENS)$???","listText":"$Senseonics(SENS)$???","text":"$Senseonics(SENS)$???","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/c0859514d8ff1ff5fadc9503d902a530","width":"1125","height":"1949"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":1,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/169954504","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":394,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":144112167,"gmtCreate":1626271488459,"gmtModify":1703756815317,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$Bleeding everyday ","listText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$Bleeding everyday ","text":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$Bleeding everyday","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/238136c04b44912b30de1e76a26aa031","width":"1125","height":"1949"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/144112167","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":434,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":155665097,"gmtCreate":1625413663419,"gmtModify":1703741464532,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"@PYthon888@EliYreminds me of us!","listText":"@PYthon888@EliYreminds me of us!","text":"@PYthon888@EliYreminds me of us!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/155665097","repostId":"1160702483","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1160702483","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1625369888,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1160702483?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-07-04 11:38","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Two new stock market acronyms — FOLO and YOMO — can save you a lot of grief (and money)","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1160702483","media":"MarketWatch","summary":"When stock market investing gets too easy, consider getting out of the market.\n\nYou’ve probably hear","content":"
\n When stock market investing gets too easy, consider getting out of the market.\n
\n
You’ve probably heard about people trading stocks based on two acronyms: FOMO (fear of missing out) and YOLO (you only live once). In the name of flipping it, we should consider the following two terms as much more insightful and helpful to investors and traders:
\n
FOLO (fear of living once) and YOMO (you only miss out).
\n
Here’s a story I’ve told about how things can go wrong even when you’re think you’re trading well and outperforming the markets seems easy.
\n
Return to 2004
\n
It was late January 2004, and I was starting my second full year of running a hedge fund, and I was off to an incredible start to the year. I’d come into 2004 steadily scaling into ever-larger and more aggressive positions in mostly internet core equipment vendors like Nortel, JDSU, and Cisco, not to mention my largest position in Apple, which I’d first bought for the fund back in March of 2003. (I held Apple along with occasional Apple call options until I closed the fund, by the way.) I’d made big money already in my hedge fund, which was full of mostly long positions as the markets had been in a big rebound from their October 2002 lows.
\n
As 2004 started, the markets were in what I called a Steady Betty Rally Mode at the time, and internet-equipment stocks were the single hottest sector into the new year. I started trimming some of my biggest winners down, including the aforementioned Nortel, JDSU and Cisco, along with any stocks that were up 20%, 30% or even more as January wore on. By late January, I was nearly back up to half in cash and the hedge fund was already up nearly 25% for the year while the broader markets were barely up 5% on the year.
\n
In the last week of January, the markets turned south and the highest-flying winners of the year, like those that I’d just sold down and taken huge profits on, were the hardest hit. I’d previously learned the hard way over the years that you should never confuse a bull market with genius, but I’d even nailed the near-term top and my whole year was already in the pocket. I was feeling pretty good about myself and my trading prowess and listening to Willie cover Woody Guthrie’s classic, “Stay a little longer” chuckling about how I’d left before the party was busted!
\n
By early February, I was “only” up just over 20% on the year, as I still had half my fund in stocks and a few options, but the markets were now down year to date and the stocks I’d so smartly sold down at the top had themselves pulled back 20%-30% from their highs. They finally were stabilizing and the charts started to turn upward as the stocks were flattish to down on the year.
\n
Here I was sitting on a huge pile of cash and feeling like a genius for having sold at the top and here was a chance to just slowly start rebuilding and buying some new stocks while they were down. I started to buy back a few shares and to put just a little bit of that 50% cash, along with more cash coming in, to work in the markets.
\n
By the time March rolled around, I was back fully invested and mostly long, up single digits on the year, and the markets were down about 10% or so on the year. One morning as I walked into my hedge fund hotel office that I rented from Bear Stearns on the 40th floor in midtown New York, I was shocked to see the Nasdaq futures were down huge. I pulled up the Bloomberg terminal and my heart sank as the headline screamed “Nortel admits fraud; Major telecom equipment vendors under investigation” or something along those lines. Nortel was cut in half and most every internet-equipment-related stock in the market was down 20% or more on the day. I puked my guts out that whole day and cried myself to sleep that night.
\n
I spent the rest of the year digging out of that hole and getting back ahead of the market and had a lot of success in that hedge fund from that bottom.
\n
Lesson of the week — do not dig yourself a hole, OK?
\n
Foreshadowing
\n
Here’s something I wrote in 2007, the last time I started turning from bullish to bearish and eventually traded my hedge fund for a TV gig right before the markets started tanking in late 2007: “Concerned about complacency” (May 3, 2007).
\n
Here’s an excerpt:
\n
I’m worried. That’s no news flash, as I’m always worried, but I am really concerned about the complacency out there. Earnings are great, as evidenced by the booming season we’re experiencing. The global economy is lifting a lot of boats. And every time I try to get bearish, I feel almost silly when the action, fundamentals and environment are this strong.
\n
Just about everybody is long real estate. … Wasn’t almost every rationalization for why we shouldn’t fret about any real estate bubble true when real estate crashed the last few times?
\n
Last month, the IMF reported that “the global economy remains on track for robust growth in 2007 and 2008. … Moreover, downside risks to the outlook seem less threatening than at the time of the September 2006 World Economic Outlook.” Has the IMF ever gotten the outlook right?
\n
This utter disregard for risk permeates the sell side, too, as evidenced by this broker note from Bear this morning: “Worries — the market is running out of major concerns.” Not surprisingly, I suppose, I’m going to flip that statement as I find I have more major concerns about the market and economy today than I’ve had at any point in the past five years.
\n
A Citi board member recently told me that I had a “lot of guts” for having launched a tech fund in October 2002. I think you’d have to have a lot of guts to launch a tech fund in May 2007! I’m focusing more on the short side than anything else right now.
\n
Beware when things are too easy
\n
Cody back in real time, 2021. I’m not saying the markets are about to tank like they did in 2008. But I am saying, once again, that I know way too many random hard-working people who are convinced that they can make big money in cryptos and meme stocks and by trading, trading, trading.
\n
And all my analysis points to an unfortunate risk/reward set up for the aggressive bulls here.
\n
That story above about Nortel: I’m here to tell you that you won’t always get a chance to sell when the charts stop working. You don’t always get a chance to lock in your gains while you think it’s easy.
\n
I’ve been in this business, picking stocks and helping people manage their money for 25 years, and it seems obvious to me that trading and investing and making profits and keeping those profits is very hard to do over many years. There are times it seems easy. That’s often the best time to get cautious. Because if it really were easy, nobody would work their real jobs. We could all just trade stocks to each other all day and make all the money we need. Yeah, right.
\n
I have a new name or two I’m digging hard into this week, one in AI and another that’s trying to revolutionize long-term gig employment trends. Until then, I’m staying steady as she goes, even as so many others think YOLO and FOMO are just fun, little acronyms.
","source":"lsy1603348471595","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Two new stock market acronyms — FOLO and YOMO — can save you a lot of grief (and money)
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nTwo new stock market acronyms — FOLO and YOMO — can save you a lot of grief (and money)\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-07-04 11:38 GMT+8 MarketWatch\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
When stock market investing gets too easy, consider getting out of the market.\n\nYou’ve probably heard about people trading stocks based on two acronyms: FOMO (fear of missing out) and YOLO (you only ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"SPY":"标普500ETF",".IXIC":"NASDAQ Composite",".DJI":"道琼斯",".SPX":"S&P 500 Index"},"source_url":"https://www.marketwatch.com/story/two-new-stock-market-acronyms-folo-and-yomo-can-save-you-a-lot-of-grief-and-money-11625247142?mod=home-page","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1160702483","content_text":"When stock market investing gets too easy, consider getting out of the market.\n\nYou’ve probably heard about people trading stocks based on two acronyms: FOMO (fear of missing out) and YOLO (you only live once). But I am saying, once again, that I know way too many random hard-working people who are convinced that they can make big money in cryptos and meme stocks and by trading, trading, trading.\nAnd all my analysis points to an unfortunate risk/reward set up for the aggressive bulls here.\nThat story above about Nortel: I’m here to tell you that you won’t always get a chance to sell when the charts stop working. You don’t always get a chance to lock in your gains while you think it’s easy.\nI’ve been in this business, picking stocks and helping people manage their money for 25 years, and it seems obvious to me that trading and investing and making profits and keeping those profits is very hard to do over many years. There are times it seems easy. That’s often the best time to get cautious. Because if it really were easy, nobody would work their real jobs. We could all just trade stocks to each other all day and make all the money we need. Yeah, right.\nI have a new name or two I’m digging hard into this week, one in AI and another that’s trying to revolutionize long-term gig employment trends. Until then, I’m staying steady as she goes, even as so many others think YOLO and FOMO are just fun, little acronyms.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":114,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":168366353,"gmtCreate":1623951495272,"gmtModify":1703824580632,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$GRAYBUG VISION, INC.(GRAY)$Bought at peak.. hahaha ???","listText":"$GRAYBUG VISION, INC.(GRAY)$Bought at peak.. hahaha ???","text":"$GRAYBUG VISION, INC.(GRAY)$Bought at peak.. hahaha ???","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f5d72aa280858d5990aeb8afec3082fd","width":"1125","height":"1949"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/168366353","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":352,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9086547859,"gmtCreate":1650474772287,"gmtModify":1676534732840,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Cenntro Electric Group Limited(CENN)$Haha no eyes to see ","listText":"$Cenntro Electric Group Limited(CENN)$Haha no eyes to see ","text":"$Cenntro Electric Group Limited(CENN)$Haha no eyes to see","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/32d6e2ed0386e7e00c5cb0beb9ce64d7","width":"1125","height":"2196"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9086547859","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":530,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9009473894,"gmtCreate":1640779952730,"gmtModify":1676533540946,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok hehe","listText":"Ok hehe","text":"Ok hehe","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9009473894","repostId":"1173363100","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1173363100","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1640779518,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1173363100?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-12-29 20:05","market":"us","language":"en","title":"The Steep Drop In Clover Health Stock Sets up an Entry Opportunity","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1173363100","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Investors who are patient and want to take on some risk should find CLOV stock interesting","content":"

I am bullish on Clover Health Investments (NASDAQ:CLOV). Meanwhile, Alibaba BABA slid 2% to $195.19 and Didi DIDI 3% to $9.57.\nFear of stringent Chinese regulation is depressing non-EV stocks. But China hasn’t made much noise about cracking down on EV makers. It’s an industry the government would like to dominate.\nSo it may have no desire to put the hammer down on EV companies, and that’s likely buttressing their shares Friday.\nWhen it comes to U.S. EV stocks, Tesla (TSLA) -Get Report is the big daddy, of course. Its shares are up 5% to $677.75 Friday, leaving them up 8% for the past five days.\nThe companyposted stronger-than-expected earningsfor the second quarter Monday and said it's on track to build the first Model Y sedans from new facilities in Austin and Berlin before year-end.\nChief Executive Elon Musk, however, added in an investor call following the earnings report that the global shortage in semiconductor supplies remains \"quite serious\" and could impact production rates over the second half of the year.\nVolume growth will depend on the availability of other parts in the global supply chain, he said.\nMusk also said he would no longer participate in regular earnings calls, unless he had \"something really important to say\".\nTesla said adjusted profit for the latest quarter was $1.45 per share, creaming analysts’ consensus forecast of 98 cents.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":145,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":174711141,"gmtCreate":1627138465683,"gmtModify":1703484719331,"author":{"id":"3582589591806883","authorId":"3582589591806883","name":"th3aYaM","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2da38f724aef850367a46f638623b5d2","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582589591806883","authorIdStr":"3582589591806883"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Senseonics(SENS)$?","listText":"$Senseonics(SENS)$?","text":"$Senseonics(SENS)$?","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4a11b6a6a235cfd128d0854d9537ae85","width":"1125","height":"2183"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/174711141","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":621,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
