The price target corresponds to an EV/Revenue multiple of 4.0 times in 2022.</p><p>The investment bank also raised its price target on NIO&#39;s US-traded shares by 8.7 percent to $25, implying an upside of 30.3 percent, according to their research note.</p><p>CICC maintained their Outperform rating on NIO&#39;s US-traded shares and gave their initial Outperform rating on NIO&#39;s H-shares, saying that NIO&#39;s recent ES7 launch and the 2022 model year for its existing SUVs are expected to drive improved fundamentals.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3ddd7c8794d148190878632ff3289abf\" tg-width=\"1219\" tg-height=\"709\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"/></p><p>(Image credit: NIO)</p><p>The team sees NIO as a leader in the premium smart EV segment, having a business model with premium services, which include its battery swap service, user community, and NIO Life, which all help reinforce its premium image.</p><p>&#34;We believe the company&#39;s business model is scarce, with front-loaded service system investments and charging and battery swap networks acting as a moat,&#34; Inflation running around its highest level in 40 years, theongoing war in Ukraineand a Covid-induced shutdown in China, which since has been lifted though with conditions, have generated fears that the U.S. could be on the brink of recession.</p><p>Small business took the biggest hit during the month, as companies employing fewer than 50 workers reduced payrolls by 91,000. Of that decline, 78,000 layoffs came from businesses with fewer than 20 employees.</p><p>“Under a backdrop of a tight labor market and elevated inflation, monthly job gains are closer to pre-pandemic levels,” ADP chief economist Nela Richardson said. “The job growth rate of hiring has tempered across all industries, while small businesses remain a source of concern as they struggle to keep up with larger firms that have been booming as of late.”</p><p>The biggest change in the ADP count came in leisure and hospitality, the sector most hit most by restrictions and which has been a leader throughout the recovery. May saw new hires of just 17,000, even as the summer tourism season hits full swing.</p><p>Education and health services led sectors with growth of 46,000, while professional and business services was next with 23,000 and manufacturing added 22,000. Service-providing jobs grew by 104,000, while good producers added 24,000.</p><p>Companies with 500 or more workers led with payroll gains of 122,000, while mid-size firms contributed 97,000.</p><p>The report comes the day before the Bureau of Labor Statistics issues its more closely followed nonfarm payrolls count, which is expected to show a gain of 328,000 following April’s 428,000. Since, the stock has gone from losing momentum to actually suffering. The shares are down more than 60% this year.The reason? Novavax disappointed investors when its regulatory submissions fell behind. Since, it's done a good job of catching up. More than 35 countries have authorized the vaccine so far. Now, all eyes are on Novavax's next step: winning authorization in the U.S. Could this nudge the stock out of its slump -- and even turn it into a multibagger?Image source: Getty Images.A promising financial pictureLet's start by taking a look at Novavax's first quarter as a commercial-stage company. The financial picture looks promising. Novavax reported revenue of $704 million and net income of $203 million. That's thanks to its coronavirus vaccine -- it's only commercialized product. The company reiterated its forecast for $4 billion to $5 billion in revenue this year. And Novavax's cash level increased to $1.6 billion from $1.5 billion in December.Still, investors were disappointed about one particular element. It concerns Novavax's advance purchase agreement with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance for 1.1 billion doses. Novavax will produce as many as 350 million doses and the Serum Institute of India will take care of the rest. Gavi is an organization providing equitable access to vaccines.But so far, Gavi hasn't placed an actual order for doses. And Novavax said the timing and size of orders look \"unclear.\" The per dose price in this agreement is lower than that paid by high-income countries. But the agreement with Gavi still remains an important part of Novavax's revenue picture. It's the company's biggest single contract. So, investors clearly will be keeping an eye on what happens next.Speaking of advance purchase agreements, Novavax also has orders for as many as 450 million doses from seven countries and the European Union. And Novavax has licensing agreements to bring up to 400 million doses of its vaccine to various countries in Asia. The company delivered its product across these areas in the first quarter.A deal with the U.S.Finally, Novavax's agreement with the U.S. includes the delivery of 110 million doses. It's important to keep in mind that the U.S. doesn't really \"need\" the vaccine right now. About 66% of the population already is fully vaccinated. And vaccines are readily available throughout the country for those who haven't yet gotten a jab.All of this shows us that areas outside the U.S. probably represent more near-term opportunity for Novavax. Yet, the big focus has been on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) decision. An advisory committee is set to meet June 7 to discuss Novavax's submission.Are we wrong to direct so much attention to the FDA meeting? Or could it be the element that sets off big share gains for Novavax? I'll answer both questions with a \"no.\" Here's why. A positive FDA decision is important because it sets the stage for Novavax's future position in the U.S. market. Novavax' combined flu/coronavirus vaccine candidate is in a phase 1/2 trial right now. That product could be a game-changer down the road. But it would be easier for the product to carve out market share if Novavax already was a player -- even a small one -- in the U.S. coronavirus vaccine space. And Novavax today could gain some market share in the U.S. -- especially among people who prefer more of a traditional vaccine instead of an mRNA vaccine.Multibagger potential?Now, let's talk multibagger potential. I don't think a potential authorization in the U.S. will cause the stock to skyrocket. But I do think Novavax has multibagger potential over time. The company is profitable and on track to generate billion-dollar revenue this year. And its flu/coronavirus vaccine candidate could ensure it a prime spot in the long-term vaccine market.If Novavax shares increased by three from today's price, they still would be a few dollars below Wall Street's very lowest 12-month share price forecast. Even if the stock doesn't gain that much in the next 12 months, it could over a longer timeframe.At this point, Novavax still remains a stock best left to aggressive investors. There is a lot of uncertainty about vaccine demand as the pandemic shifts to an endemic situation. And if demand is lower than expected, the shares could suffer. But experts do expect the virus to stick around. That means at least the most vulnerable members of the population will need vaccines. This Canada-based tech giant offers a variety of tools for independent business owners. Services include logo design, online payment services, web design, logistics, and domain name registration.In early May, Shopify reported its Q1 FY22results. Revenue came in at $1.20 billion, up 22% YOY. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) was 20 cents. In the year before, it had been $2.01. Its annual expense ratio stands at 0.75% per year.ARKQtypically has 30 – 50 holdings. At the time of writing, it holds 39 stocks, of which the top 10 names account for almost 60% of the portfolio.Among those are Tesla(NASDAQ:TSLA); technology solutions provider Trimble(NASDAQ:TRMB);Kratos Defense and Security Solutions(NASDAQ:KTOS); Japanese construction equipment manufacturer Komatsu(OTCMKTS:KMTUY); and UiPath(NYSE:PATH), provider of end-to-end platform for automation.Autonomous vehicles have the biggest share (40.4%) of the fund’s technological exposure. Its expense ratio is also 0.75%.Industrials lead the way with 57.2%. Next are IT (22.7%) and communication services (7.4%). The actively managed ETF currently invests heavily in aerospace beneficiary companies (43.3%) that are engaged in agri-science, internet access, global positioning systems (GPS), construction, drones, or electric aviation vehicles.The fund has around 60% of its investments in the top 10 stocks.The largest holding,Trimble comprises almost 10% of the portfolio. And then will come the bull market.</p><p>As per history, points out chief investment strategist Michael Hartnett, the average peak-to-trough bear market decline is 37.3% and lasts 289 days. That would put the end to the pain on Oct. 19, 2022, which happens to mark the 35th anniversary of Black Monday, the name commonly given to the stock market crash of 1987, and the S&amp;P 500 index will likely bottom at 3,000.</p><p>A popular definition of a bear market defines it as a 20% drop from a recent high. As of Thursday, the index was off 23.55% from its record close of 4796.56 hit Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.</p><p>And an end typically marks a beginning with Bank of America noting the average bull market lasts a much longer 64 months with a 198% return, &#34;so next bull sees the S&amp;P 500 at 6,000 by Feb. 28,&#34; said Hartnett.</p><p>Meanwhile, another week saw the bank&#39;s own bull and bear indicator fall as far as it can go into &#34;contrarian bullish&#34; territory --</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d5b388620db70508a92721690ee4a74e\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"607\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/></p><p>That indicator previously fell to 0 in August 2002, July, 2008, Sept. 2011, Sept. 2015, January 2016 and March 2020, said Hartnett.
