It is the only country on the planet that has said XRP is anything other than a currency,” he noted. “The SEC has said... XRP is a security. And so we’re now engaged in a court discussion. So far, I feel good about how that’s been going, but it’s certainly frustrating.”\nIn a complaint filed in December, the SEC said Ripple “created an information vacuum” when it did not disclose the offering to investors. The agency argues the company was required to share this kind of material information with investors because XRP can be considered an investment contract “under certain circumstances” and “therefore a security under the federal securities laws.”\nFinancial regulators globally are looking into how they should regulate the cryptocurrency industry.\nGarlinghouse downplayed the current scrutiny of cryptocurrencies, saying the industry should continue to focus on what these technologies provide to customers.\n“I think at the end of the day, the industry should focus on utility. And are these technologies solving real problems for real customers,” he said, adding that Ripple will continue to leverage its XRP ledger and tokens to make payments efficient.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":327,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":109797689,"gmtCreate":1619722079141,"gmtModify":1704271343265,"author":{"id":"3582812989255003","authorId":"3582812989255003","name":"Linuss","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a649b3f60b8d7d0e8c674a3533cc389d","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582812989255003","authorIdStr":"3582812989255003"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Helloooo","listText":"Helloooo","text":"Helloooo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/109797689","repostId":"1100703832","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1100703832","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1619708408,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1100703832?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-04-29 23:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"IBM to acquire software provider Turbonomic","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1100703832","media":"Reuters","summary":"IBM has agreed to acquire Turbonomic, a provider of software that helps companies monitor the perfor","content":"
IBM has agreed to acquire Turbonomic, a provider of software that helps companies monitor the performance of their business applications, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
\n
The deal, IBM’s largest since its acquisition of open-source software company Red Hat for $34 Billion in 2019, values Turbonomic at between $1.5 billion and $2 billion, said the sources, who requested anonymity ahead of an official announcement.
\n
The transaction is IBM’s 11th acquisition since Arvind Krishna became CEO last year. And are these technologies solving real problems for real customers,” he said, adding that Ripple will continue to leverage its XRP ledger and tokens to make payments efficient.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":327,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":109797689,"gmtCreate":1619722079141,"gmtModify":1704271343265,"author":{"id":"3582812989255003","authorId":"3582812989255003","name":"Linuss","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a649b3f60b8d7d0e8c674a3533cc389d","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3582812989255003","idStr":"3582812989255003"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Helloooo","listText":"Helloooo","text":"Helloooo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/109797689","repostId":"1100703832","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1100703832","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1619708408,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1100703832?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-04-29 23:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"IBM to acquire software provider Turbonomic","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1100703832","media":"Reuters","summary":"IBM has agreed to acquire Turbonomic, a provider of software that helps companies monitor the perfor","content":"
