While the company doesn’t talk about the business much andprovides little disclosure, Sacconaghi estimates that Apple will generate about $3 billion in ad revenue in the September 2021 fiscal year, up from about $300 million in fiscal 2017. He thinks the total could grow to the $7 billion-to-$10 billion-a-year range by fiscal 2023 or 2024, boosting growth in Apple’s services business as much as three percentage points.
\n
Sacconaghi notes that most of Apple’s ad business is centered on search ads in the App Store. He says growth drivers in the business include the June addition of search ads in China, higher ad loads, and the introduction of banner ads to the store in May. He also points out that Apple generates modest revenue today—likely under $500 million a year—from ads in the Apple News and Stocks apps.
\n
There are other opportunities—including Apple Maps and Apple TV. Sacconaghi estimates that Google generates about $4 billion in ad revenue a year from Maps, with a user base about four times the size, suggesting $1 billion a year in potential ad revenue. And he says that the streaming-device companyRoku (ROKU)provides “a helpful precedent” for how Apple can generate revenue from Apple TV hardware—where he sees another $1 billion-plus opportunity.
\n
The analyst adds that Apple could place ads on other properties—like Apple Fitness+ and Garage Band—but that the adoption of advertising in applications like Apple Mail, Apple TV+, or Apple’s home screens likely would “irk consumers and undermine Apple’s strongly avowed stance on privacy.”
\n
Meanwhile, Sacconaghi says, Apple’s position on Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA, offers the company some competitive advantages. “While we believe that Apple’s move to eliminate IDFA was done in the spirit of advancing consumer privacy, it may ultimately provide Apple with an advertising platform that is competitively advantaged vs. peers who don’t have access to Apple’s richer APIs,” he writes.
\n
The analyst notes thatAmazon.com‘s (AMZN) ad business was similar in size to Apple’s in 2017—and now has a run rate north of $25 billion and is a substantial part of the investment thesis on the stock. “Along similar lines, a large and growing advertising business could help Apple accelerate its overall Services growth rate, which would likely be viewed positively by investors,” he concludes.
\n
Apple shares were up 0.1%, at $145.72, in recent trading. After evaluation, Tencent's proposal of additional restrictive conditions commitment can not effectively solve the above competition concerns.\nAccording to Article 28 of the anti monopoly law and Article 35 of the Interim Provisions on the examination of business concentration, the State Administration of market supervision has decided to prohibit such business concentration according to law.\nTencent responded that the company will seriously abide by the review decision, actively cooperate with regulatory requirements, operate in accordance with the law and fulfill its social responsibilities.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":53,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9021678270,"gmtCreate":1653053891890,"gmtModify":1676535215253,"author":{"id":"3583232600752361","authorId":"3583232600752361","name":"tong888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1dd1d9315f9fad2a22ecdece79efd15e","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583232600752361","authorIdStr":"3583232600752361"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$ESR-REIT(J91U.SI)$[smile] ","listText":"$ESR-REIT(J91U.SI)$[smile] ","text":"$ESR-REIT(J91U.SI)$[smile]","images":[{"img":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/004cace05aab91b9dd248ccd85ed38c2","width":"1080","height":"3039"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9021678270","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":148,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9085228097,"gmtCreate":1650712515906,"gmtModify":1676534781064,"author":{"id":"3583232600752361","authorId":"3583232600752361","name":"tong888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1dd1d9315f9fad2a22ecdece79efd15e","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583232600752361","authorIdStr":"3583232600752361"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Okie","listText":"Okie","text":"Okie","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9085228097","repostId":"2229678171","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2229678171","pubTimestamp":1650676500,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2229678171?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-23 09:15","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Is the Last FAANG Standing","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2229678171","media":"Barrons","summary":"Apple is the last FAANG standing -- and its earnings report this coming week could go a long way tow","content":"

Apple is the last FAANG standing -- and its earnings report this coming week could go a long way toward determining if the stock market bounces back or slides even further.

As bad as this year has been for the stock market, it's been even worse for the original FAANGs. But investorsstill find ways to make big money.
\n
Eight stocks inthe S&P 500, mostly tech and communications services firms likeNvidia(NVDA),IBD Long-Term LeaderMicrosoft(MSFT) andTwitter(TWTR), are complete standouts in the S&P 500 in August, says an Investor's Business Daily analysis of data from S&P Global Market Intelligence andMarketSmith.
\n
All these stocks not only topped the S&P 500 in August in each of the past five years. They also all posted average gains in the month of 4% or more.
\n
And that qualifies as a good August — which for most people ranks among the very worst months of the year.
\n
August Is Usually Tough For The S&P 500
\n
Going back to 1950, the S&P 500 slipped 0.2% in August on average, says Stock Trader's Almanac. That ranks August as the eleventh-worst month of the year for the index.
\n
Andunderperformance in Augustisn't a fluke. It can sometimes come in dead last.
\n
\"August is the worst ... S&P 500 month during 1988 through 2020,\" says Stock Trader's Almanac. \"In post-election years since 1950, August is still ranked no higher than #11 while average performance slips deeper into negative territory.\"
\n
More recently, though, August spared S&P 500 investors some of the pain.
\n
Last August, for instance, the S&P 500 vaulted 7% higher during the month. It was at that time investors began to anticipate the reopening of the economy. But in just the prior August of 2019, the S&P 500 slipped 1.8%.
\n
But not all S&P 500 stocks suffer in August.
\n
Technology Is The S&P 500 Place To Be In August
\n
Just one S&P 500 sector routinely skates through August. Andit's technology.
\n
The Technology Select Sector SPDR (XLK) is the only sector out of the 11 that topped the S&P 500 in each of the past five years. And during August the past five years, the tech sector gained 4.2% on average. That's a particularly strong showing if you consider the S&P 50o only rose 1.6% on average in August going back to 2016.
\n
And it's not just the overall S&P 500 tech sector that outperforms in August. Drilling down into the individual tech stock winners tells the same story. Six out of the eight top performing S&P 500 stocks in Augusthail from the tech sector.
\n
Take the No. 1 performer in the month: high-end computer chip maker Nvidia. It topped the S&P 500 during August in each of the past five years. But it's also put up an average gain in the month of 10.3%. All eyes are on whether Nvidia can pull it off again. Shares are already up nearly 50% this year.
\n
Analysts are looking for the company in August to report 53% lower adjusted second-quarter profit of $1.02 share. But Nvidia has a knack at overdelivering. Profit in the first-quarter topped expectations by more than 350%.Should you buy Nvidia stock now?
\n
Another big tech winner in August isMicrosoft. The software giant's shares pushed 4.3% higher in August, on average, the past five years.
\n
Get Ready For August S&P 500 Surprises
\n
August is only starting, and already investors are coming off some surprises. Expect more.
\n
Take Twitter for instance. It, too, is a strong August performer. It's risen more than 8.5% in August, on average, in the past five years. Shares are already up 28.6% this year. Why? The communications firm reported, in July, a profit of 20 cents a share. But investorsstill find ways to make big money.\nEight stocks inthe S&P 500, mostly tech and communications services firms likeNvidia(NVDA),IBD Long-Term LeaderMicrosoft(MSFT) andTwitter(TWTR), are complete standouts in the S&P 500 in August, says an Investor's Business Daily analysis of data from S&P Global Market Intelligence andMarketSmith.\nAll these stocks not only topped the S&P 500 in August in each of the past five years. They also all posted average gains in the month of 4% or more.\nAnd that qualifies as a good August — which for most people ranks among the very worst months of the year.\nAugust Is Usually Tough For The S&P 500\nGoing back to 1950, the S&P 500 slipped 0.2% in August on average, says Stock Trader's Almanac. That ranks August as the eleventh-worst month of the year for the index.\nAndunderperformance in Augustisn't a fluke. It can sometimes come in dead last.\n\"August is the worst ... S&P 500 month during 1988 through 2020,\" says Stock Trader's Almanac. \"In post-election years since 1950, August is still ranked no higher than #11 while average performance slips deeper into negative territory.\"\nMore recently, though, August spared S&P 500 investors some of the pain.\nLast August, for instance, the S&P 500 vaulted 7% higher during the month. It was at that time investors began to anticipate the reopening of the economy. But in just the prior August of 2019, the S&P 500 slipped 1.8%.\nBut not all S&P 500 stocks suffer in August.\nTechnology Is The S&P 500 Place To Be In August\nJust one S&P 500 sector routinely skates through August. Andit's technology.\nThe Technology Select Sector SPDR (XLK) is the only sector out of the 11 that topped the S&P 500 in each of the past five years. And during August the past five years, the tech sector gained 4.2% on average. That's a particularly strong showing if you consider the S&P 50o only rose 1.6% on average in August going back to 2016.\nAnd it's not just the overall S&P 500 tech sector that outperforms in August. Drilling down into the individual tech stock winners tells the same story. Six out of the eight top performing S&P 500 stocks in Augusthail from the tech sector.\nTake the No. 1 performer in the month: high-end computer chip maker Nvidia. It topped the S&P 500 during August in each of the past five years. But it's also put up an average gain in the month of 10.3%. All eyes are on whether Nvidia can pull it off again. Shares are already up nearly 50% this year.\nAnalysts are looking for the company in August to report 53% lower adjusted second-quarter profit of $1.02 share. But Nvidia has a knack at overdelivering. Profit in the first-quarter topped expectations by more than 350%.Should you buy Nvidia stock now?\nAnother big tech winner in August isMicrosoft. The software giant's shares pushed 4.3% higher in August, on average, the past five years.\nGet Ready For August S&P 500 Surprises\nAugust is only starting, and already investors are coming off some surprises. Expect more.\nTake Twitter for instance. It, too, is a strong August performer. It's risen more than 8.5% in August, on average, in the past five years. Shares are already up 28.6% this year. Why? The communications firm reported, in July, a profit of 20 cents a share. That demolished expectations by more than 185%. That ranks as one of thetop surprises in an already robust second-quarter profit reporting season.\nSo, yes, August isn't usually great for the S&P 500. But you can still find winners if you pick your spots in this tricky month.\nTop S&P 500 Stocks In August\nAll topped the index in each August for at least past five years","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":65,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":141457668,"gmtCreate":1625887826454,"gmtModify":1703750492833,"author":{"id":"3583232600752361","authorId":"3583232600752361","name":"tong888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1dd1d9315f9fad2a22ecdece79efd15e","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583232600752361","authorIdStr":"3583232600752361"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Orh...","listText":"Orh...","text":"Orh...","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/141457668","repostId":"2150370120","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2150370120","pubTimestamp":1625879410,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2150370120?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-07-10 09:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Top 10 Cloud Stocks to Buy on the Next Dip","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2150370120","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"How can you capitalize on secular growth trends like digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, analytics, video streaming, work from anywhere, the gig economy, and more? But what are the best stocks to buy in order to ride these waves and boost your portfolio?
\n
I'll provide 10 total stocks over two articles and videos. Today, I will cover stocks 1 through 10.
\n
#10.salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) is the leader in customer relationship management (CRM). Salesforce is a SaaS provider that enables organizations to integrate marketing, sales, service, e-commerce, and IT into a single customer view. Salesforce is acquiringSlack (NYSE:WORK), which has caused volatility in the stock. The leadership team has proven to shareholders many times that they can successfully acquire businesses and add value. I firmly believe that this acquisition will add tremendous value to Salesforce customers. The company plans to build Slack into its Service Cloud products, which will increase employee productivity from anywhere.
\n
#9.DocuSign(NASDAQ:DOCU) offers more than most people realize. Its business consists of four primary pillars -- manage, prepare, sign, and act -- which collectively are called the DocuSign Agreement Cloud. The company continues to expand offerings, and its recent earnings results prove it. For Q1 FY22, revenues grew 58% year over year to $469 million. Its billings also grew 54% year over year to $527 million with a 125% net dollar retention rate. The below video goes into more detail, breaking down the pillars and solutions.
\n
#8.Twilio (NYSE:TWLO) is often misunderstood. Sure, it helps companies like Uber and DoorDash connect customers to businesses, but what else does it do? Here is a list of solutions Twilio can offer:
\n
\n
Messaging: You can send and receive SMS, MMS, and OTT messages globally (to and from over 180 countries) and in a scalable manner. For example, Twilio can be used to created automated replies to customers and route important requests to humans for additional interaction.
\n
Customer engagement:Contact centers can leverage Twilio for customer engagement channels, and the tools can be quite complex. For example, Twilio offers AI-powered tools for customer self-service, automatic text notifications, callbacks, etc.
\n
Marketing:Campaigns can use Twilio to send specific, customizable messages with the ability to track data such as click-through rates.
\n
Business email services: Twilio can send and receive emails. Twilio SendGrid Email API allows businesses to create flexible, scalable, and engaging campaigns.
\n
\n
#7The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD) focuses on the ad-tech space, and it has a tremendous total addressable market (TAM) when you consider the possibilities in CTV. CTV means \"connected TV,\" which is essentially any television connected to the internet. ThinkRoku (NASDAQ:ROKU), YouTube, part ofAlphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL),Amazon Prime (NASDAQ:AMZN),Disney's Disney+ (NYSE:DIS), and others. Smart TVs are changing the internet, and buying The Trade Desk is the best way to play this space, in my opinion. The company allows its clients to buy advertisements or run global marketing campaigns in areas such as CTV, display ads, and even social media. These are massive secular growth trends, and The Trade Desk can help your portfolio capture some of this growth.
\n
#6.Zoom Video (NASDAQ:ZM) is the epitome of a work-from-home stock, but can it be a large part of the work-from-anywhere movement that is here to stay? The answer, in my opinion, is yes. Zoom is now a verb, and recently Charlie Munger told CNBC that he's \"in love with Zoom\" and thinks it's \"here to stay.\" I agree with him, and the below video shares more details as to why.
\n
In case you missed the last article, I'll provide some background. If you aren't familiar with the terminology, SaaS is simply a component of cloud computing. SaaS refers to software hosted outside of your organization and offered as a subscription-based service. SaaS generally offers businesses lower total cost of ownership. The latest software updates and enhancements are generally done for the client, allowing businesses to have the latest and greatest without additional effort or overhead. Additionally, SaaS enables businesses to shift capital expenses to operating expenses, allowing them to stretch budgets from an accounting perspective.
\n
Cloud computing refers to servers that are connected through the internet, as well as the software, data centers, and databases that create an online network. Leveraging \"the cloud\" allows users and businesses to consume and analyze data without having to manage databases or software on their own physical, on-premises servers and machines.
\n
Digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, machine learning, centralized analytics, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), connected TV (CTV), streaming, work from anywhere, the gig economy, and other secular growth trends fuel SaaS and cloud infrastructure. But what are the best stocks to buy in order to ride these waves and boost your portfolio?
\n
#5. Zscaler (NASDAQ:ZS) offers customers a security stack as a cloud service, which offers lower cost and complexity than \"old-school\" traditional gateway methods. Zscaler's global infrastructure brings internet gateways closer to users all around the world, creating a faster and more streamlined experience. The company enables work-from-anywhere cloud security in a highly scalable fashion.
\n
#4. Datadog (NASDAQ:DDOG) provides monitoring and analytics tools that give IT teams insights from anywhere and at any time. Datadog, like Zscaler, is very scalable. In fact, most cloud-native providers are highly scalable, which is part of the reason they rank high on the list. Datadog brings information together from across an entire organization into a simple dashboard. Companies that leverage Datadog enjoy benefits such as improved user experience, faster resolutions to interruptions, and overall better business decisions.
\n
Datadog has continuously improved its product suite as well as its partnership network. In fact, Datadog recently announced a new partnership with Microsoft (NASDAQ:DDOG) Azure, which allows streamlined experiences for configuration, purchasing, and even managing Datadog inside the Azure portal. Additionally, on July 1 Datadog announced a partnership with Salesforce to provide real-time monitoring and threat detection across the Salesforce (NASDAQ:DDOG) platform.
\n
From a product perspective, here are the highlights:
\n
\n
Application performance monitoring (APM) provides visibility into application functionality and health.
\n
Infrastructure monitoring allows businesses to monitor IT infrastructure.
\n
Log management provides visualization and data for any performance problems.
\n
User experience monitoring includes both synthetics and real user monitoring (RUM).
\n
Network performance monitoring allows insights and analysis into network traffic flow from both hybrid and cloud environments.
\n
Incident management and continuous profiler improves workflows.
\n
Security monitoring provides threat detection.
\n
\n
#3. Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) offers what it calls a \"data warehouse-as-a-service\" (DaaS), a cloud-based data storage and analytics solution. Interestingly, Snowflake is not a SaaS company since its revenues are over 90% consumption based. Snowflake reduces cost and improves agility. Its data platform is unique in that it is not built on an existing big data platform.
\n
As you may have heard around the time of the IPO, Snowflake is backed by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A). Snowflake's clients include Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Nike (NYSE:NKE), Mastercard (NYSE:MA), and many others. Snowflake is all about big data, and it deserves a top spot on the list.
\n
#2. Cloudflare's (NYSE:NET) mission is to help \"build a better internet.\" Cloudflare is actually a network. In fact, it's one of the larger networks on the planet. Cloudflare enables a faster and more secure internet for anyone with an internet presence. Cloudflare has data centers across the globe, and it boasts an astonishing 25 million internet properties, a number that grows daily. To date, Cloudflare handles over 17 percent of the Fortune 1000 internet requests, and the company handles 25 million HTTP requests every second on average. Cloudflare is all about the future of the internet, and it belongs in my portfolio as a long-term investment.
\n
#1 Crowdstrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) is the leader in endpoint security. Crowdstrike's Falcon platform stops breaches through both prevention and response, a process known as endpoint detection and response (EDR). It uses agent-based sensors that can be installed on Mac, Linux, and Windows. Crowdstrike relies on a cloud-hosted SaaS platform that manages data and prevents, detects, and responds to threats. Both malware and non-malware attacks are covered via Crowdstrike's cloud-delivered technologies in a lightweight solution.
\n
Cyberattacks continue to be a major threat, and the total addressable market for cybersecurity is enormous. Crowdstrike has been a monster since its IPO in 2019, growing into a $60 billion market cap company. But I think Crowdstrike is just getting started, and it stands tall as my top high-conviction cloud/SaaS stock for the next decade.
\n
If you want deeper-dive analysis on these stocks, please watch the video below, where I cover these and many others in the cloud space. These growth stocks can boost your long-term investing portfolio, so please check out the below video and subscribe to make sure you stay on top of this sector.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Top 10 Cloud Stocks to Buy on the Next Dip
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nTop 10 Cloud Stocks to Buy on the Next Dip\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-07-10 09:10 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Today, I cover my top high-conviction cloud stocks to buy on the next dip. Leveraging \"the cloud\" allows users and businesses to consume and analyze data without having to manage databases or software on their own physical, on-premises servers and machines.\nDigital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, machine learning, centralized analytics, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), connected TV (CTV), streaming, work from anywhere, the gig economy, and other secular growth trends fuel SaaS and cloud infrastructure. But what are the best stocks to buy in order to ride these waves and boost your portfolio?\nI'll provide 10 total stocks over two articles and videos. Today, I will cover stocks 1 through 10.\n#10.salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) is the leader in customer relationship management (CRM). The company plans to build Slack into its Service Cloud products, which will increase employee productivity from anywhere.\n#9.DocuSign(NASDAQ:DOCU) offers more than most people realize. The below video goes into more detail, breaking down the pillars and solutions.\n#8.Twilio (NYSE:TWLO) is often misunderstood. Sure, it helps companies like Uber and DoorDash connect customers to businesses, but what else does it do? Here is a list of solutions Twilio can offer:\n\nMessaging: You can send and receive SMS, MMS, and OTT messages globally (to and from over 180 countries) and in a scalable manner. For example, Twilio can be used to created automated replies to customers and route important requests to humans for additional interaction.\nCustomer engagement:Contact centers can leverage Twilio for customer engagement channels, and the tools can be quite complex. For example, Twilio offers AI-powered tools for customer self-service, automatic text notifications, callbacks, etc.\nMarketing:Campaigns can use Twilio to send specific, customizable messages with the ability to track data such as click-through rates.\nBusiness email services: Twilio can send and receive emails. Twilio SendGrid Email API allows businesses to create flexible, scalable, and engaging campaigns.\n\n#7The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD) focuses on the ad-tech space, and it has a tremendous total addressable market (TAM) when you consider the possibilities in CTV. These are massive secular growth trends, and The Trade Desk can help your portfolio capture some of this growth.\n#6.Zoom Video (NASDAQ:ZM) is the epitome of a work-from-home stock, but can it be a large part of the work-from-anywhere movement that is here to stay? The answer, in my opinion, is yes. Zoom is now a verb, and recently Charlie Munger told CNBC that he's \"in love with Zoom\" and thinks it's \"here to stay.\" I agree with him, and the below video shares more details as to why.\nIn case you missed the last article, I'll provide some background. \nCloud computing refers to servers that are connected through the internet, as well as the software, data centers, and databases that create an online network. Leveraging \"the cloud\" allows users and businesses to consume and analyze data without having to manage databases or software on their own physical, on-premises servers and machines. \nDigital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, machine learning, centralized analytics, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), connected TV (CTV), streaming, work from anywhere, the gig economy, and other secular growth trends fuel SaaS and cloud infrastructure. But what are the best stocks to buy in order to ride these waves and boost your portfolio? \n#5. \n#4. \nDatadog has continuously improved its product suite as well as its partnership network. In fact, Datadog recently announced a new partnership with Microsoft (NASDAQ:DDOG) Azure, which allows streamlined experiences for configuration, purchasing, and even managing Datadog inside the Azure portal. Additionally, on July 1 Datadog announced a partnership with Salesforce to provide real-time monitoring and threat detection across the Salesforce (NASDAQ:DDOG) platform.\nFrom a product perspective, here are the highlights:\n\nApplication performance monitoring (APM) provides visibility into application functionality and health. \nInfrastructure monitoring allows businesses to monitor IT infrastructure.\nLog management provides visualization and data for any performance problems.\nUser experience monitoring includes both synthetics and real user monitoring (RUM).\nNetwork performance monitoring allows insights and analysis into network traffic flow from both hybrid and cloud environments.\nIncident management and continuous profiler improves workflows. \nSecurity monitoring provides threat detection.\n\n#3. \nAs you may have heard around the time of the IPO, Snowflake is backed by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A). Snowflake's clients include Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Nike (NYSE:NKE), Mastercard (NYSE:MA), and many others. Snowflake is all about big data, and it deserves a top spot on the list. \n#2. \n#1 Crowdstrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) is the leader in endpoint security. \nCyberattacks continue to be a major threat, and the total addressable market for cybersecurity is enormous. Crowdstrike has been a monster since its IPO in 2019, growing into a $60 billion market cap company. But I think Crowdstrike is just getting started, and it stands tall as my top high-conviction cloud/SaaS stock for the next decade.\nIf you want deeper-dive analysis on these stocks, please watch the video below, where I cover these and many others in the cloud space. These growth stocks can boost your long-term investing portfolio, so please check out the below video and subscribe to make sure you stay on top of this sector.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":79,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3583568085402852","authorId":"3583568085402852","name":"IsaacYap90","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/40f66d0266826bb209ee22688d7bbde5","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"idStr":"3583568085402852","authorIdStr":"3583568085402852"},"content":"Today, I cover my top high-conviction cloud stocks to buy on the next dip. The Dow Jones, which is comprised of 30 profitable, time-tested, multinational businesses, has become a barometer to gauge the health of the U.S. stock market.

It's also home to some serious value, at least according to a handful of Wall Street analysts and investment banks. Wall Street's high-water one-year price target for each of the following four Dow stocks implies upside ranging from 48% to as much as 58%.

Intel: Implied upside of 55%

To begin with, at least one Wall Street analyst foresees some significant upside in semiconductor giant Intel (NASDAQ:INTC). According to Robert W. Baird analyst Tristan Gerra, Intel could hit $85 a share, representing upside of 55% over the next year.

Among Gerra's chief arguments is that Intel will likely make a big acquisition to shore up its Foundry Services operations. It just so happens that The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Intel is tinkering with the idea of a $30 billion deal to acquire GlobalFoundries, a specialty chip-production company that Advanced Micro Devices spun off back in 2008. Going the acquisition route would emphasize Intel's renewed commitment to keep chip production under its own control, rather than outsource it. Depending on geopolitical or supply and demand concerns, that could become a major competitive edge for Intel.

Even though personal-computing chip demand tends to ebb and flow, the future for Intel will likely hinge on data centers. Despite a double-digit percentage decline in data center revenue in the first quarter, demand for storage, processing, and software solutions are only going to increase over the long run as businesses make the shift online and into the cloud. Intel's road will undoubtedly be bumpy as it spends big bucks on 7nm chip innovation, but it should prove well worth it.

An $85 price target may well make sense for Intel, but likely not over the next year.

Walgreen Boots Alliance: Implied upside of 48%

Healthcare stocks are also expected to get in on the action. Pharmacy chain Walgreens Boots Alliance (NASDAQ:WBA) has a high-end price target of $68 from analysts at Robert W. Baird. This portends up to 48% upside over the next 12 months.

The bullishness surrounding Walgreens likely has to do with the company's ongoing multipoint turnaround plan. By fiscal 2022, Walgreens should be realizing more than $2 billion in annual cost savings, yet at the same time will benefit from hefty investments in digitization. Although online sales only comprise a small portion of total sales, direct-to-consumer is an area of considerable growth opportunity for the generally slow-growing pharmacy chain.

Perhaps even more exciting is the partnership between Walgreens Boots Alliance and VillageMD. This duo plans to open as many as 700 full-service clinics (co-located in Walgreens' stores) in more than 30 markets throughout the United States by mid-decade. Whereas most in-store clinics cater to vaccines or a sniffle, doctor-led full-service practices inside Walgreens have the potential to facilitate repeat business and drive patients right to Walgreens' high-margin pharmacy.

As a shareholder, I'm enthusiastic about Walgreens' future. But I suspect it'll take longer than 12 months to reach $68.

Dow Inc.: Implied upside of 58%

When it comes to Dow stocks with supercharged return potential, chemicals company Dow Inc. (NYSE:DOW) takes the cake. If the Street-high price target of $95 were to come to fruition, Dow would return 58% for its shareholders over the coming year.

The biggest growth driver for Dow is going to be a continued U.S. and global recovery (Dow has a manufacturing presence in 31 countries). If economic activity continues to pick up, not only will the company recognize strong demand for its packaging, specialty plastics, performance materials, and coatings, but this demand will actually improve pricing power for Dow's material solutions. The first quarter saw demand and pricing power improve across all operating segments.

Beyond just growing demand, Dow is taking other actions to improve its bottom line. The company has invested aggressively in digitization, while at the same time restructuring its operations to eventually reduce costs by approximately $300 million on an annual basis. Perhaps most important, capacity expansion for its material solutions will allow Dow to meet increased demand as the U.S. and global economy heat up.

The bottom line is that Dow is a solid cyclical operating model that'll deliver incremental profit improvements in the years that lie ahead. But as a generally slower-growth business, $95 seems far too aggressive a price target over the coming 12 months.

Chevron: Implied upside of 54%

Lastly, at least one Wall Street investment bank is counting on a gusher of a year from integrated oil and gas giant Chevron (NYSE:CVX). If the high-end price target of $152 proves accurate, Chevron could gallop higher by 54% over the coming year.

To state the obvious, Chevron benefits from its integrated operating model. Even though higher crude prices are more favorable given the juicier margin potential of its upstream (drilling and exploration) operations, the company is hedged by controlling petrochemical plants and refineries (downstream operations). When the price of crude declines, the input costs for its downstream operations fall, as well, pushing profitability and margins higher.

The Chevron growth story also can't be told without making mention of its generally superior balance sheet. Whereas most major oil stocks are weighed down by debt, Chevron's debt-to-equity of 34% is considerably lower than many of its peers. When combined with aggressive capital expenditure reductions in the near-term, Chevron looks to have considerably better financial flexibility than other oil majors.

Ultimately, Chevron's success will be dependent on a continued rebound in the U.S. and global economy. While history does indicate that periods of economic expansion usually last years, Wall Street's high-end price target should, once again, be taken with a grain of salt over the next year.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
4 Dow Stocks With 48% to 58% Upside, According to Wall Street
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n4 Dow Stocks With 48% to 58% Upside, According to Wall Street\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-07-21 19:40 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
For the past 125 years, arguably no stock index has been more widely followed than the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES:^DJI). Although online sales only comprise a small portion of total sales, direct-to-consumer is an area of considerable growth opportunity for the generally slow-growing pharmacy chain.Perhaps even more exciting is the partnership between Walgreens Boots Alliance and VillageMD. But I suspect it'll take longer than 12 months to reach $68.Image source: Getty Images.Dow Inc.: Implied upside of 58%When it comes to Dow stocks with supercharged return potential, chemicals company Dow Inc. The first quarter saw demand and pricing power improve across all operating segments.Beyond just growing demand, Dow is taking other actions to improve its bottom line. The company has invested aggressively in digitization, while at the same time restructuring its operations to eventually reduce costs by approximately $300 million on an annual basis. Perhaps most important, capacity expansion for its material solutions will allow Dow to meet increased demand as the U.S. and global economy heat up.The bottom line is that Dow is a solid cyclical operating model that'll deliver incremental profit improvements in the years that lie ahead. But as a generally slower-growth business, $95 seems far too aggressive a price target over the coming 12 months.Image source: Getty Images.Chevron: Implied upside of 54%Lastly, at least one Wall Street investment bank is counting on a gusher of a year from integrated oil and gas giant Chevron (NYSE:CVX). If the high-end price target of $152 proves accurate, Chevron could gallop higher by 54% over the coming year.To state the obvious, Chevron benefits from its integrated operating model. When combined with aggressive capital expenditure reductions in the near-term, Chevron looks to have considerably better financial flexibility than other oil majors.Ultimately, Chevron's success will be dependent on a continued rebound in the U.S. and global economy. While history does indicate that periods of economic expansion usually last years, Wall Street's high-end price target should, once again, be taken with a grain of salt over the next year.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":35,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":170779575,"gmtCreate":1626457433297,"gmtModify":1703760603568,"author":{"id":"3583232600752361","authorId":"3583232600752361","name":"tong888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1dd1d9315f9fad2a22ecdece79efd15e","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583232600752361","authorIdStr":"3583232600752361"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Orh","listText":"Orh","text":"Orh","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/170779575","repostId":"1179740731","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":175,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":157542560,"gmtCreate":1625596576550,"gmtModify":1703744629700,"author":{"id":"3583232600752361","authorId":"3583232600752361","name":"tong888","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1dd1d9315f9fad2a22ecdece79efd15e","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583232600752361","authorIdStr":"3583232600752361"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Y","listText":"Y","text":"Y","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/157542560","repostId":"1142221624","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1142221624","pubTimestamp":1625585310,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1142221624?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-07-06 23:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"MRIN Stock: Why Reddit Investors Are Sending Marin Software Higher Today","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1142221624","media":"investorplace","summary":"Marin Software(NASDAQ:MRIN) stock is soaring higher on Tuesday as Reddit traders continue to pump up","content":"
Marin Software(NASDAQ:MRIN) stock is soaring higher on Tuesday as Reddit traders continue to pump up the company’s shares.
\n
So why exactly are Reddit investors taking such a liking to MRIN stock today?
