He cited Tesla's ambitions in autonomous vehicles, which the fund views as possibly transformative for the economics of the company -- despite not having any idea how successful it will be.\"To us it is bizarre that brokers, hedge fund mavens and commentators can claim to be able to decipher the future and assign a precise numerical target to the value of Tesla,\" he said.In his final annual results at Scottish Mortgage, Anderson pointed to renewable energy, synthetic biology, and the changing landscape in healthcare innovation as among the revolutionary forces ahead in the market.Describing what makes for a great investment, he cited Amazon and its founder Jeff Bezos as a model. \"The company should have open-ended growth opportunities that they should work hard never to define or time,\" he said, alongside \"initial leadership that thinks like a founder (and almost always is one)\" as well as a distinctive philosophy of business.Today, Scottish Mortgage's top 10 holdings, in order of portfolio weight, are Tencent, biotechnology-equipment group Illumina (ILMN), Dutch semiconductor industry supplier ASML (ASML.AE), Amazon, Tesla, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba $(09988)$, Chinese local services platform Meituan Dianping , U.S. biotech group Moderna $(MRNA)$, Chinese EV player NIO $(NIO)$, and European food-delivery group Delivery Hero.\"There's much that I have misunderstood and misjudged over the two decades,\" Anderson said, urging those that follow him to be eccentric, and to place trust in unreasonable people and propositions. \"My ever-growing conviction is that my greatest failing has been to be insufficiently radical.\"","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":242,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3577592690119548","authorId":"3577592690119548","name":"Kinag","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3f68091edc02b8d5e110ecb27d16b217","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1},"content":"Need a reply too","text":"Need a reply too","html":"Need a reply too"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":136136596,"gmtCreate":1621998200315,"gmtModify":1704365773977,"author":{"id":"3583317605009222","authorId":"3583317605009222","name":"hamham611","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93ec720f840e7ee30b356356ba620f72","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"themes":[],"htmlText":"pls like and comment","listText":"pls like and comment","text":"pls like and comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":8,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/136136596","repostId":"2138196079","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":128,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3571731917050098","authorId":"3571731917050098","name":"killuz","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f2f7506133b4298111ecff9ef46ff33c","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":1},"content":"comment and like","text":"comment and like","html":"comment and like"}],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":186566960,"gmtCreate":1623511754650,"gmtModify":1704205342599,"author":{"id":"3583317605009222","authorId":"3583317605009222","name":"hamham611","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93ec720f840e7ee30b356356ba620f72","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Pls like n comment","listText":"Pls like n comment","text":"Pls like n comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":6,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/186566960","repostId":"2142204074","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2142204074","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1623441637,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2142204074?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-12 04:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"S&P ekes out gains to close languid week","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2142204074","media":"Reuters","summary":"NEW YORK, June 11 - who want to bet on the return of Americans traveling abroad after a coronavirus-driven halt can do so without buying airline stocks, CNBC’s Jim Cramersaid Wednesday.\nInstead, Cramer pointed them in the direction of a financial services firm he called a “coiled spring,” even as the company’s shares trade near all-time highs.\nAmerican Expressis doing “incredibly well just with domestic, including small- and medium-sized business. Can you imagine when you get international? That’s the stock to own. You buy it now,” anticipating more overseas travel in the coming months, Cramer said on“Squawk on the Street.”\n“I do believe that that is the stock to buy if you believe Europe is going to come back,” the“Mad Money”host added.\nLast month, the European Unionmade it easier for Americans to travel to its 27 member countries by adding the U.S. to itssafe travel list. Previously, nonessential travel had been restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic.\nMajor airlines havebeen working to add back lucrative trans-Atlantic routes, hoping to capture the pent-up demand from U.S. residents hankering for a vacation abroad.\nIt is also good for American Express. While travel is important for American Express in general, cross-boarder payments have higher margins than domestic ones.\nIn its first-quarter earnings report, released in April, American Express CEO Stephen Squeri said the company was seeing positive signs around domestic travel, “increasing our confidence” that the recovery will continue.\nHowever, Squeri said at the time, “Card member spending, excluding travel and entertainment categories, was 11 percent higher on an FX-adjusted basis than it was in the first quarter of 2019, and continues to represent the majority of spend on our network.”\nAmerican Express is set to release second-quarter results July 23, which may offer more insight into recent travel spending trends.\nShares of American Express are up around 43% year to date and more than 80% in the past 12 months. The stock traded just under $173 apiece Wednesday, narrowly below its all-time high of $174.76 on July 7.\nEven so, Cramer said he likes the set-up for investors, as more travel restrictions ease and people feel more comfortable with the level of coronavirus risk.\n“I still think American Express, which has got a great chart, is a coiled spring,” Cramer said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":17,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169707459,"gmtCreate":1623850194971,"gmtModify":1703821326895,"author":{"id":"3583317605009222","authorId":"3583317605009222","name":"hamham611","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93ec720f840e7ee30b356356ba620f72","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Pls like n comment","listText":"Pls like n comment","text":"Pls like n comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":5,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/169707459","repostId":"1187947537","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1187947537","pubTimestamp":1623850100,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1187947537?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-16 21:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Goldman Sachs sees a 45% rally in this space stock","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1187947537","media":"cnbc","summary":"Goldman Sachs began on Wednesday coverage of space stock Maxar Technologies with a buy rating, seein","content":"
\n
Goldman Sachs began on Wednesday coverage of space stock Maxar Technologies with a buy rating, seeing a 45% climb for shares in the year ahead.\n“We think MAXR has a gem business in earth intelligence ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; The stock is down nearly 7% this year, but ha smore than doubled over the past 12 months with the company in the midst of a multiyear turnaround.\nGoldman Sachs has a $52 price target on Maxar shares. Poponak emphasized Maxar’s position as the “world leader in high resolution earth imagery.”\n“This is high margin, recurring business, that has compounded cash flows for years. Earth observation data and analytics are increasingly prioritized by government and commercial customers, and the upcoming launch of the Worldview Legion constellation will increase capacity to meet excess demand,” Poponak wrote.\nA key revenue stream for Maxar’s earth imagery business is the National Reconnaissance Office, which expects to issue new long-term satellite imagery contracts in the near future. Maxar faces competition from the rise of private companies such as Planet Labs and BlackSky, but Goldman is not concerned about that.\n“New competitors are coming to this market but we think they are far behind MAXR,” Poponak added.\nMaxar’s space infrastructure business “has been loss-making the last several years” due to the decline in the number of orders for large geostationary communications satellites, a market which Poponak pointed out has gone “through a downturn.”\n“That market has now stabilized, with stronger orders in 2020 and a wave of replacement demand coming up,” Poponak said. “Further, MAXR is diversifying into Civil and Defense end markets, which would be incremental to the current revenue base and drive meaningful top-line growth, as well as offer greater visibility into sustained profitability.”\nGoldman Sachs believes Maxar’s $2.6 billion valuation is “very attractive,” with the company giving 2023 earnings targets that Poponak says “may actually be a bit conservative.”\n“We expect continued improvement in financials to drive a re-rating, as overhang from a challenging past cedes to a promising future,” Poponak wrote.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":38,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":187593423,"gmtCreate":1623757775162,"gmtModify":1703818298747,"author":{"id":"3583317605009222","authorId":"3583317605009222","name":"hamham611","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93ec720f840e7ee30b356356ba620f72","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Pls like n comment","listText":"Pls like n comment","text":"Pls like n comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":5,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/187593423","repostId":"2143562407","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2143562407","pubTimestamp":1623757200,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2143562407?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-15 19:40","market":"us","language":"en","title":"ContextLogic Inks Partnership Deal with PrestaShop; Shares Pop 12.7%","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2143562407","media":"SmarterAnalyst","summary":"ContextLogic (WISH) has signed a two-year partnership deal with PrestaShop, a leading e-commerce pla","content":"
ContextLogic (WISH) has signed a two-year partnership deal with PrestaShop, a leading e-commerce platform. It said U.S. firms were benefiting from a “huge turnaround” in capex and its picks include semiconductor firmAnalog Devicesand truck-makerPaccar. It also likes farm equipment companyJohn Deere, as well as air conditioning company Carrier Global.\nWhen it comes to international corporate spending, the analysts, led by Sean Darby, said: “We were wrong! It is not just the US that is enjoying a huge turnaround in capital investment intentions – even outside of Tech – but also the Rest-of-the-World.”\nJefferies’ international picks include Swedish leisure product manufacturerDometic Groupand German luxury RV-makerKnaus Tabbert, as well as Japanese firmHitachi Constructionand Chinese engineering firmChina Railway Group. All are buy-rated.\nEnergy and materials\nIn a note Monday, JPMorgan said it had put together two baskets of stocks: those set to benefit from President Biden’s infrastructure plan, and those likely to do well from the EU recovery fund. Firms that appear on both lists include steel firmArcelorMittaland Spanish energy companiesEDP RenewablesandIberdrola.\nTechnology and communications\nAnalysts from JPMorgan also picked semiconductor firmsInfineon TechnologiesandSTMicroelectronicsfor both their U.S. and European lists, as well as German firmDeutsche Telekom.\nFirms that appear on both Jefferies’ and JPMorgan’s lists include medical technology groupSiemens Healthineers, French train manufacturerAlstomand security firmAssa Abloy.\nA number of factors have combined to stimulate a capital spending surge, according to Jefferies’ analysts. These include old equipment that needs replacing, “buoyant” CEO confidence, an earnings turnaround leaving balance sheets “flush with cash,” and low industrial inventories.\n“Our US capex indicator has quite literally gone ballistic. It took around six years from the GFC [global financial crisis] to 2015 before a capex recovery emerged in the previous cycle. This one has taken approximately 13 months and has surged to the highest reading in history,” Jefferies’ analysts wrote.\nFor JPMorgan, company profits have also meant a surge in spending. “Corporate capex is on an accelerating path this year, given the strong rebound in corporate profitability, where profits have tended to lead capex pretty consistently. Further, bank lending standards are continuing to improve, which helps capex decisions,” the bank’s analysts wrote.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":34,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":895037546,"gmtCreate":1628693525385,"gmtModify":1676529824555,"author":{"id":"3583317605009222","authorId":"3583317605009222","name":"hamham611","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93ec720f840e7ee30b356356ba620f72","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Pls like","listText":"Pls like","text":"Pls like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/895037546","repostId":"1141858457","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1141858457","pubTimestamp":1628693066,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1141858457?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-08-11 22:44","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Disney Cancels Planned Scarlett Johansson Feature 'Tower Of Terror' In Wake Of Salary Dispute Lawsuit: Report","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1141858457","media":"Benzinga","summary":"The feud between Walt Disney Co and “Black Widow” star Scarlett Johansson has taken a new twist with","content":"
The feud between Walt Disney Co and “Black Widow” star Scarlett Johansson has taken a new twist with the studio reportedly canceling planned projects it previously announced with the two-time Oscar-nominated actress.
\n
What Happened:According to a report on the entertainment siteGiantFreakinRobot.combased on information from “one of our trusted and proven inside sources,” Disney has dropped the “Tower of Terror” project that Johansson was scheduled to star in and produce through her These Pictures company.
\n
“Tower of Terror” is based on the popular Disney theme park ride.Colliderfirst reported the project had the greenlight in June, with “Toy Story 4” director Josh Cooley at work on a screenplay. Big drops can be scary.
\n
But dumping stocks on days when the Dow is getting whacked is usually the wrong thing to do. Stocks roared back Tuesday and were up again Wednesday.
\n
Yes, the Delta variant of Covid-19 has led to an alarming uptick in coronavirus cases in the United States and around the globe. But many experts think the massive number of vaccinations that have already taken place will prevent the economy and markets from going into another tailspin.
\n
If you're investing for the long haul, the best thing you can do is ride out this wave of volatility.
\n
\"Stay invested,\" said Seema Shah, chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. Shah told CNN Business that the Delta variant is highly unlikely to stop the economic recovery in the US and other parts of the developed world where vaccination rates are high.
\n
\"The vaccine is effective,\" she said. \"If cases are rising but hospitalization rates remain low, then the reopening measures from governments will continue.\"
\n
Still, Shah conceded, investors should be more selective. After all, the S&P 500 has nearly doubled from its pandemic lows in March 2020, and not all stocks and sectors will maintain their momentum.
\n
She thinks defensive sectors might start to pull back a bit. Big drops can be scary.\nBut dumping stocks on days when the Dow is getting whacked is usually the wrong thing to do. Stocks roared back Tuesday and were up again Wednesday.\nYes, the Delta variant of Covid-19 has led to an alarming uptick in coronavirus cases in the United States and around the globe. But many experts think the massive number of vaccinations that have already taken place will prevent the economy and markets from going into another tailspin.\nIf you're investing for the long haul, the best thing you can do is ride out this wave of volatility.\n\"Stay invested,\" said Seema Shah, chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. Shah told CNN Business that the Delta variant is highly unlikely to stop the economic recovery in the US and other parts of the developed world where vaccination rates are high.\n\"The vaccine is effective,\" she said. \"If cases are rising but hospitalization rates remain low, then the reopening measures from governments will continue.\"\nStill, Shah conceded, investors should be more selective. After all, the S&P 500 has nearly doubled from its pandemic lows in March 2020, and not all stocks and sectors will maintain their momentum.\nShe thinks defensive sectors might start to pull back a bit. Those include utilities, health care and others companies that pay big dividends and are considered good bond proxies.\nThe FAANGs and other big tech stocks, many of which have strong earnings momentum and tons of cash, should continue to rally, she said.\nNot the time to bail on the market\nSo should economic recovery plays in the travel and retail sectors that have pulled back lately on Covid concerns.
