I think MSTR has potential in short term while PLTR is surely for the long run. Personally, besides these two, I feel, the real dark horse 🐎 for 2025, in the AU space is AMD. It's time it 🚀 on all cylinders. Time it lived up to its potential.
Sorry if this sounds like a crazy question. I am watching SOXS & SOXL counters since about an year and notice that every day they move in the opposite direction to almost the same percentage (as expected & defined). So if on a day SOXS falls by x% then SOXL rises almost by x% and vice-versa. So, is there a potential for arbitrage trade in these? If yes, what precautions are necessary? Will be thankful for guidance. Thanks.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ my opinion on Nvidia remains the same- keep adding in dips on every draw down. While any curbs on chip exports to 🇨🇳 would impact the overall market, it is unlikely to continue for ever. In due course, the overall market economic factors should prevail and bring back sanity into the market.
$Trump Media & Technology(DJT)$ shoot up like a rocket 🚀 since DT is unharmed and this boosts up his candidature quite a bit. Sticking my neck out with this counter wirh conviction helped to make a killing too
This looks like a healthy pullback rather than a meltdown. A small pullback in intervals is quite unavoidable and should actually be welcome in a rally on fire. Good also to see that bank counters like JPM are also down providing an opportunity to take position. Also some of the ETFs look promising.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ I used to believe it would touch $150 by Q3 end but now tend to think it needs time to first stabilise at 130-140 levels before it can have a sustained rise from there. So, I think, it could be sometime before Q4 end instead.
I personally think June 2024 CPI result will continue . A lot depends on the overall inflation figures at the US. For all we know, inflation may also move upwards given the oncoming US presidential polls and the tendency for easy money policy.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ yes, it very much looks like Tesla is on a roll and with 10 consecutive days of rise, the record of 13 days could quite fall. Also the target of $300 looks quite tenable. Quite a roll indeed for Tesla that has seen challenging times since quite some time.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Since the last couple of years I have been seeing that Tedla has been quite a volatile and unpredictable stock for the long term. And musk's eccentricity hasn't helped matters much either. The recent euphoria is of course a welcome change but will this continue for the longer term is a matter of conjecture. Assuming no surprises hitting us between the time from today to the quarter results, I would expect the stock to stabilise before moving anywhere further. After all like another esteemed Tiger correctly quoted WB - it's wise for investors to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful. And I'd add, no matter whether it's greed or fear, the useful sentiments to carry are p
Expecting banks to have a mixed season due to the overall uncertainty. The confusion over the presidential candidates, and therefore the overall economic direction, is also likely to play into the game. So, sticking to blue-chip counters like JPM & GS could perhaps be one approach to take.
No, I don't believe much in luck in investing, either beginner's or otherwise. It is, in no particular sequence, conviction, patience and research, that helps to make informed investment choices. But yes, there were some bets that were more of speculation that did help but those are too rare to merit mention.
I qull invest in these 2 funds, most importantly, for the stability and the sense of predictability they provide. Bullish or bearish patterns in the market are unavoidable and what can consistently hold the Fort in both is the quality of the portfolio. And no amount of personal conviction and luck can match the solid research a fund manager, like of these 2 funds, can bring in. And with such funds, the need to constantly churn the portfolio is also minimal which saves us from spending sleepless nights. It's a win-win I'd think.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Obviously I'd be delighted to see Tesla race on to $300 soonest. I was expecting it to touch 250 by mud July but lo, already the current market price is $246.39. With its 200-day moving average at $206, it is suggesting a long-term bullish momentum. I think the price is not at the support price zone, suggesting cautiousness around buying timing. As an analyst recently wrote, current price zone accounts for about 21% of trading activity (volume) over the last year, suggesting possibility of increased trading activity in this zone going ahead. Therefore I'd be treading cautiously in this counter. Stay invested and look at further investment strictly based on research.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ I am into nvidia for the long term and have been holding it since some time too. Nancy Pelosi's entry surely increases my hopes on the stock & I plan to increase my stakes here too.
Oh yes, I am many stocks I have done that. Usually I might reenter shortly afterwards should the upward trend continue. I can't say it's a good move but there are other counters where I have regrets for not exiting on break even too. Overall it's a mixed bag.
Other opportunities worth chasing now are the pharma stories like Pfizer or J&J. Apple & Tesla are also back in the race. Further, FMCGs like Colgate & P&G or Unilever are the ones to watch.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ Investing in any stock is a test of patience along with research and conviction. One has to keep ones cool through a barrage of short-term fluctuations. And, not to mention, the market alway springs unpleasant surprises. Having a constant source of insights and information will help you build the resilience to invest for the long term. All this is true of Nvidia as well as long as the overall industry trend holds good. I've a strategy to add around 10 shares for every 1% dip in its price to make a total corpus of 1000 shares for a target of $150 in 1-2 quarters.
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ at last Tesla showed signs 9f living up to its promise after a long season of disappointment and stagnancy. Finally I could recouo the accumulated losses on this counter. Is it totally out of the woods? I really hope so and wish its rrobotaxiplans fructify and yield results and Musk doesn't do anything stupid again.
Both Baba and Pfizer are appearing to bequite undervalued now. In addition, we can look at Johnson & Johnson, McDonald's, Verizon Communications & American Water Works to be valuable.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ 150 coming in my opinion by Q3. Like Buffet said one need to study whole industries before deciding whether to invest in a stock. The AI story is just building up and the whole unravelling is going to take time. So writing off any stock in any sector, whether nvidia or any others based on a week or two, is unwise. Be on the watch, keep conviction in your research and act accordingly. As for myself, nvidia holds potential and that is a stick to hold for the long run.
